Chapter three hundred and forty-two, tracking gold(2/2)

Simon is on the phone.

Because people at the stadium asked if they wanted to evacuate.

Simon thought for a moment, then dialed the number of the person staying at the bank and asked if anyone had killed John McClain.

Unfortunately, dead people don't answer the phone.

After calling for a long time and getting no response, Simon hung up the phone, thought for a while and dialed the number of the radio station.

"Hello, this is Free Broadcasting. You are already connected. Do you have any questions?" The host said politely when the call was connected.

"First of all, I want to congratulate you on your wonderful program. I really enjoy listening to your program." Simon complimented.

"Thank you for the compliment, what do you want to talk about?" The host was very happy to hear the compliment.

"Do you know why the police are running around today?" Simon said calmly, "I have a friend who is a policeman, and he told me that terrorists planted a bomb in a school in New York.

Since they didn't know which school the bomb was in, they could only search every school like a mad cow."

"Sir, are your words true?" the host asked stammeringly. He knew that he had posted a big news, and today's listening ratings would definitely reach the top.

"Of course it's true, otherwise why would the police be running around like headless flies today?" Simon continued: "The reason why my cousin told me the news was because he couldn't stand it.

The families of those high-ranking officials and wealthy people have secretly evacuated the school. Only the families of ordinary citizens like you and me are left in the school, and they might be bombed at some point.

As a conscientious person, I can't stand this unfairness, so I called you.

Also, my cousin said that the bomb was carried out by the same group that bombed the department store and the Wall Street subway bomb this morning, but the bomb at the school was huge, dozens or even a hundred times larger than the previous two.

It’s different from the 21st century.

In the 1980s, radio and television were the main entertainment programs for people. Many people listened to radio and it was everywhere in the streets and alleys.

Many people heard Simon's words, and after learning that there was a bomb in the school, people immediately became confused.

"I'm going to pick up my daughter."

"I'm going to pick up my son."

"I'm going to..."

New York is the largest city in the United States, with a population of tens of millions. There are 1,500 high schools alone, not counting elementary schools and universities.

The reason why the director and others concealed the information and chose to search for bombs secretly was because they did not want to cause riots, because teachers and students in thousands of schools are related to millions of people.

Although only one school has a bomb.

But no one can be sure whether the school where their loved ones attend is in danger.

The unknown is the scariest thing.

After knowing that their location might be dangerous, the whole city exploded, and people rushed to the school to pick up their children and relatives.

They couldn't believe this.

Because the police reacted really unusually today, running around from school to school. Originally they thought they were arresting the bad guys in department stores and subway stations, but unexpectedly, it turned out to be because...

In short, New York was in chaos and turned into a mess in just ten minutes.
