Chapter 0007 Resurrection of the Heretic God

A night passed and Zhou Qingfeng woke up from his deep sleep.

He returned to the cold cave in another world. The cold wind in the black forest was still blowing, and he was so cold that he was shocked on the spot.

The bonfire in the cave was burned out, and the barbarian Todd was pushing away the stones blocking the cave, carefully checking the movement outside.

The gloomy sky was still filled with thunder and lightning, and the forest was whistling with cold wind, and a terrifying aura arose.

"It's a good day today. I didn't smell the stench of goblins. It should be safe outside." Todd got out of the cave and ran around the trees quickly, exploring the surroundings.

Zhou Qingfeng suddenly thought of something and subconsciously jumped up to check his body.

It seems that nothing is different from his body.

But when he walked a few steps, he felt his feet were light and his steps were steady. He was also breathing in the cold wind of the black forest, and it was not as uncomfortable as yesterday.

After coming out of the cave, Zhou Qingfeng followed Todd, almost inseparable from his steps. The "shadow hiding" he just mastered was naturally used, but he was not skilled enough.

Todd suddenly stopped, turned his head and stared at Zhou Qingfeng, and asked in confusion: "Rookie, why did you suddenly have no sound when you walk?"

Zhou Qingfeng was lying on his waist and subconsciously hid in the woods. The shadow naturally enveloped him, hazy. Regarding the barbarian's doubts, he laughed and said, "I must learn how to survive. Isn't it better to walk lighter?"

Todd frowned and muttered: "I think you seem to be hiding your strength. Yesterday you couldn't follow me, and your steps weren't that light.

But I advise you not to show off your skills and hide in the shadows at any time. Monsters in the Black Forest like to hide in it better than you, and they can hide better than you. You are more likely to be attacked like you."

Hold!

Zhou Qingfeng cursed and jumped out of the shade of the trees.

Todd returned to the river beach yesterday and led the way ahead.

Zhou Qingfeng was completely unable to distinguish between the southeast, west and north, and kept asking about the secrets of survival in the forest, including identifying directions, avoiding enemies, finding roads, water sources and food.

"Where are we going?"

"Go to the Plaster Village, I'm going to settle the score with the bastard who betrayed me and make him pay the price."

The irritable barbarian waved his fists and was aggressive.

Zhou Qingfeng had to remind him: "Todd, you're going to take revenge alone? I'm afraid that your enemy is more than one? Are you sure this is not going to die?"

"What do you mean?" Todd yelled at Zhou Qingfeng, "Do you dare to ignore my courage? Or belittle my force? Even if I face hundreds of enemies, I will not be afraid."

Although he was a tyrant, Zhou Qingfeng did not have the consciousness to be a tyrant at the moment. He did not want to follow this brainless barbarian to fight.

This big enemy is definitely not that simple, and there must be a group of subordinates who can fight around you. What if Todd can't beat him? Could he go to deliver vegetables?

"I think you need some weapons. How many enemies can you win with two empty hands?"

Todd was not just empty-handed, he was also a pauper. He had no copper coins on his body, only a rough animal skin. This guy might be the worst barbarian in the entire Black Forest, otherwise how could he be caught by a group of goblins?

Speaking of weapons, Todd finally calmed down. He also understood that fighting with bare hands would be difficult, and he was afraid that the enemy would be shot to death with a bow and arrow before he could reach the opponent.

The residents of the Black Forest are all difficult to mess with. There are no rules and laws in this place, and they will draw their swords and kill them whenever they disagree. The people in the Platy Village are very fierce and unreasonable.

"Okay, let's go to Baiya Village first. I have some friends there, maybe I can get an axe first." Todd, the leader, changed direction and took Zhou Qingfeng for almost the whole daytime road, and arrived at a human settlement before dark.

All the villages in the Black Forest are on high alert.

Baiya Village is built on a low hillside with wooden walls over five meters high. The middle of the wall is filled with more than two meters of frozen mud and sand. The simple and practical design brings powerful defense capabilities.

A solid arrow tower was built on the wall, and fire was burned in each arrow tower, and a special person was operating the powerful crossbow. Under the wall were deep trenches with sharp wooden stakes inserted, and anyone who wanted to cross would pay a price.

When Todd appeared outside the village with Zhou Qingfeng, the people in the village immediately became alert. A few dozen meters later, someone was shouting loudly, and the crossbows on the two arrow towers were aimed at them.

"Don't be too nervous, and don't hide. The people in Baiya Village are easy to talk to." Todd waved his hand to the village with a relaxed look, indicating that he was not hostile. "You are a stranger, and people in the village will definitely question them, so you'd better not cause trouble."

As the distance is closer, it can be seen that the village is not big, and there should be only a hundred people inside.

The wooden building is simple and rough. Many woods are not even peeled from bark, and they are tied layer by layer with rattan strips as thick as arms to form the walls of the building. This structure is sturdy and durable and almost unbreakable.

The village wall has no door, only a hanging basket to enter and exit. Someone recognized the barbarian from the wall and shouted: "Todd, I heard you were caught by a group of goblins."

"Damn it, can you not mention this?" Todd cursed angrily, "I will go to the Platy Village to find trouble for Old Seus, so that he will regret betraying me. Can you let me in now? We have brought you a friend."

The person on the wall had already seen Zhou Qingfeng, so he asked, "Where did this kid come from?"

"He is Victor, and I can't tell where I came from? But he saved me. Otherwise, I would have been thrown into the pot and stewed with ripe meat." Todd patted Zhou Qingfeng on the shoulder, as if he had made a guarantee for him.

The people in the village put down the hanging basket and pulled Todd and Zhou Qingfeng up.

Behind the solid wall is like a military fortress, everyone is wearing leather armor and weapons such as swords and axes. Even women are stout and have a brute force, of course, they are ugly.

The villagers were not friendly, they looked vigilant and fierce, and they were provocative like scrutiny towards outsiders.

Todd reminded: "It's too dangerous in the Black Forest, betrayal and sneak attacks often happen. No one trusts strange faces.

The villages here don't like to receive visitors unless it's a caravan that sends supplies.

For strangers, no matter how pitiful you are, they will be driven away. If you hadn't saved me, I wouldn't have paid attention to you, let alone brought you into the village."

There is no shortage of wood in the black forest, and there are many bonfires in the village. The flashing fire emits heat. Zhou Qingfeng felt much warmer after coming in, and also made him feel much more at ease. Tonight he at least doesn't have to spend the caves in the wild.

Todd took Zhou Qingfeng to find the village leader, a forest guard named Lukans. He built the Muzhai in Baiya Village and recruited a group of desperadoes to this dangerous place, making money by transporting and selling specialties from the Black Forest.

When Zhou Qingfeng saw this vicious forest guard, the other party was whipping a man who was hanging up with a whip.

In the splashing blood, the beheaded man's skin was blooming and his body was twisting. But he did not beg for mercy, but only let out a heart-wrenching roar, "Only by obeying Bann, my Lord will destroy you!"

So the guardian continued to draw with greater strength.

Todd stepped forward and shouted enthusiastically: "Lucans, what makes you so angry?"

Lu Kans, a forest guard, is bald, narrow-eyed, tall and fierce. He has a pale face, which looks particularly cold in the cold weather.

Hearing someone shouting, the guy looked back at Todd and cursed angrily: "Angry? I'm more than just angry? I'm scared now."

"Fear, why?"
