Leave home and join the world, enter the Tao and go out.
Looking at Xuanhu, to put it bluntly, it is a change in a person's identity and position.
There is a poem that says: The water in the mountain spring is clear, but out of the mountain spring the water is turbid.
The difference between clear and turbid represents changes in mood.
The heart is the most unpredictable place. The changes in it are the hardest to grasp.
In the world, ups and downs, how many people can really watch the storm with a smile?
When people are at the bottom, they have a state of mind; when they go through hardships and climb up, they have another state of mind; when they finally climb to the top, they feel condescending and have a completely new state of mind.
But accidentally, it rolled and fell?
The mentality of falling into a trough again cannot be the same as the mentality of being in the trough in the first place.
As a result, the mentality is unbalanced, and all kinds of inner demons breed. Some are discouraged, some feel sorry for themselves, or some blame others...
Eventually leading to destruction.
Chen Youniao's journey from spiritual practice to imperial examination was not from high to low, but changing from one position to another unfamiliar position is not easy either.
The environment is different, the rules are also different, and you have to learn to adapt to many things.
In this process, inner demons are everywhere, and if you are not careful, they will breed in your heart.

However, the forms of inner demons are ever-changing and difficult to guard against.
