45. Little Slave (3)(2/2)

Ruan Ruan brought a recliner over and placed it under the eaves that blocked the wind and snow. While she was awake, she lay on the chair and found the most comfortable movement to nest. She was wrapped in a layer of lint quilt, so she was not at all.

Feeling cold.

She supported her eyelids and watched the snow fall with relish. Occasionally, one or two naughty snowflakes flew onto her quilt, and in a blink of an eye it turned into a drop of water. She turned over with difficulty, with a soft smile on the corner of her mouth.

The surroundings were quiet, and the eyelids gradually drooped. The girl who had curled herself into a ball tilted her head, fell asleep, but never woke up again.

A month passed by, and I tried my best to get the life-saving seaweed. The young man rushed back in a dusty manner. He hadn't closed his eyes for several days or nights. His strange eyes were covered with bloodshots, and his body was dirty, looking very embarrassed.

He had no intention of taking into account his bad situation, and his heart was filled with hope. He only knew that the girl was saved. He entered the city on the last day of the agreed month. The unkempt boy ran to the general's mansion desperately, hoping to see the person he was thinking about soon.

However, when he ran to the door, he was afraid. White silk was hung on the plaque of the general's mansion, and two stone lions at the door also tied a white flower.

The door was open, and the crying sounds inside came out intermittently, which made Shen Yin crushed a corner of the box in his hand. The broken wood chips pierced into the palm of his hand, and blood dripped down his wrist, soaking the ashes-diped cuffs.

Has someone passed away in the general's mansion?

The boy, who was stunned and covered in gray, didn't notice his hands trembling. He walked in confusedly, carefully step by step, as if he was afraid of disturbing something.

The coffin made of black gold was docked in the hall. The servants led by the old housekeeper were all dressed in white clothes and knelt in front of the coffin. Several oil lamps flickered, and the blue smoke of the incense candles rose up. The hall was burning with incense that the girl liked.

Seeing that Shen Yin finally came back, the old butler wiped his tears, stood up, and handed him a square wooden box: "This was prepared by the lady before her death, and she said she would hand it to you after you come back."

The old butler couldn't help crying as he spoke. Shen Yin took the wooden box numbly and lifted the lid. There was a stack of silver notes inside, and a sachet was placed on the top, which was the same style as the one that the girl always kept away from.

In silence, he put the sachet into his arms. The box containing the seaweed and the wooden box containing the silver notes were thrown to the ground. Shen Yin dragged his legs to the wooden coffin. The girl lay peacefully inside with her eyes closed, as if she was asleep.

The young man with obscure eyes placed his hands on the edge of the wooden coffin, and his voice softly seemed like a lover's whisper: "It's only a month, why can't I wait for me?"

The old housekeeper saw the boy's expression calm

It was terrible. He couldn't bear to go forward to comfort him, but found that something invisible was blocking him. He could not take a step forward, so he could only watch the young man muttering to himself.

"You won't die. As long as I'm still alive, you won't die."

The wind outside somehow poured in, blowing the white dark paper all over the hall. The boy's hand on the edge of the wooden coffin changed, his nails suddenly became longer, and the scales on the back of his hand appeared faintly. His strange pupils were strangely shining, and the human figure and the dragon's true body changed alternately, and the scene was extremely chaotic.

When the slave kneeling in the hall saw this scene, some of them were shocked on the spot. More people ran out of the door in a panic and screamed loudly: "Monster!"

Soon, everyone ran away, leaving only the old housekeeper lying on the ground. After the horror, he wiped his forehead and was scared out of cold sweat. He saw the little slave turning into a monster that looked like a snake and a dragon. His tail rolled up his lady's spirit body and flew out, missing.

Looking at the messy and empty wooden coffin in the room, the old housekeeper shook his head repeatedly and sighed that it was all evil fate. Without the spirit, the funeral had to be held, so he had to put Ruan Ruan's clothes during his lifetime into the coffin and buried them in the soil.

Unlike the dismal silence of the General's Mansion, the demon world that had been silent for a long time ushered in a carnival for the entire clan.
