Chapter 44 Happy Chinese New Year(2/2)

While helping to make dumplings, Ribery mischievously pinched the dumplings into various shapes, and even rolled a ball out, saying it was a football-shaped dumpling. He even drew it on the "football": "It's still Nike's football!"

Considering that Ribery and Wahiba are both Muslims, in order to take care of their religious beliefs, Chu Zhongtian did not pack pork stuffing, but used beef to make stuffing.

Mathilde was the last one to come, and she had a good reason for the last one to come - because she had carefully dressed up, her hair was hot, her clothes were changed, her lipstick and her eyeshadow were worn, and her freckles on her face looked much lighter.

"This is a gift for you, Chu. I went to check your New Year's Eve in China and found that it is very similar to the New Year here, so happy New Year, Chu!" Mathilde presented her gift.

Chu Zhongtian took the gift and wanted to put it aside because he was really busy, but Mathilde stopped him from doing this: "Did you forget, Chu? It is the respect for the gift giver to be opened in front of the gift giver."

"Ah...sorry, Teacher Mati..." Chu Zhongtian quickly opened the gift and found a knitted hat inside.

"I think you never grow long hair. It will be cold in winter. I'll give you this hat."

Chu Zhongtian found that Mathilde was still wearing the scarf he gave her around his neck, so he also put the hat on his head. "It's very warm, thank you, Teacher Mathie."

Mathilde smiled at him.

After walking in, she watched everyone helping and doing a lot of work. Wang Hao, Lin Beiyao and Xu Xiaodi were busy making dumplings. Ribery and Wahiba were making their specialties in the kitchen. She couldn't find anything to do.

Chu Zhongtian couldn't enter the kitchen, and the place was occupied by the Ribery and his wife.

"Do you need help?" Mathilde asked.

Chu Zhongtian looked around and saw that he had done almost everything he needed to do and the dumplings were almost wrapped, and there seemed to be nothing she needed to help.

He shrugged: "Just wait for the meal to start."

"I'm so sorry, I'm late..."

In fact, it is not until nineteen o'clock now.

Chu Zhongtian didn't mind this: "I've been missing for a month, how are you doing?"

"It's okay." Mathilde's answer was ambiguous.

Chu Zhongtian looked at the girl standing in front of him. Although he kept calling her a teacher, she was actually one year younger than him and was about the same age as Lin Beiyao. Why did he think she was much more mature than Lin Beiyao?

Mathilde was a little embarrassed by Chu Zhongtian's view, and she lowered her head.

"You seem to have changed a little from before, Mr. Maty."

"Is that true?" Mathilde asked with his head down.

Chu Zhongtian thought about it and suddenly said to her: "Stay going to be my teacher? I'm used to calling you a teacher."

Mathilde was startled by Chu Zhongtian's words: "But I have nothing to teach you anymore. You can communicate with any Frenchman without any barriers..."

"I've thought about it, Teacher Mati. I want to learn another language - teach me German!"

Chu Zhongtian looked at Mathilde and looked forward to her answer.

Mathilde looked at Chu Zhongtian in surprise: "Are you serious, Chu?"

Chu Zhongtian nodded: "It's not bad to learn one more language. Many people here speak German. If I don't know, I can't communicate with them. You only taught me to communicate with the French, but Metz still has many Germans."

Mathilde also felt that what Chu Zhongtian said made sense. She thought about it for a moment and nodded: "Okay, Chu. I promise you."

Chu Zhongtian happily clapped his face: "Thank you, Teacher Mati!"

In the kitchen, Libery was calling Chu Zhongtian: "Chu! We're done!"

Chu Zhongtian responded, and then instructed Wang Hao and the others: "Put the dumplings into the kitchen, pack the table, and prepare for dinner!"

Fifteen minutes later, everyone was busy for the afternoon sitting around a small table. As the song "Congratulations, congratulations~~~" played on the computer, everyone raised the cups in their hands, which contained drinks.

Chu Zhongtian said to everyone in French: "Thank you for coming to celebrate the New Year with me."

Then he raised his cup and said in Chinese: "Cheers, happy Chinese New Year!"

Ribery and Mathilde followed in the tone they had just learned to attack: "Cheers! Happy Chinese New Year!"

When the seven glasses meet together, they make a crisp sound.

This time in China is already three o'clock in the morning on the first day of the Lunar New Year.

Without firecrackers, no Spring Festival Gala, and no family to accompany you, Chu Zhongtian spent his first Spring Festival in Metz, France.
