Chapter Nine Flowers into Fragrance

The "assassination incident" has not been clearly observed. For safety measures, it is best for everyone to drive and stay in Chizhou to avoid any danger on the way. However, tens of thousands of people were stationed here, which was too eye-catching. Zhao Bing discussed with everyone and asked the cavalry brigade and artillery brigade to go first. On the one hand, it can relieve the pressure on local supply; on the other hand, it can also deploy suspicious troops, so that the "enemy" can't figure out where they are.

So the next day, the fleet was divided into two parts, and some left and returned to Beijing first, while some remained at Chizhou Wharf. In order to prevent the bandits from attacking the fleet again, they moved to an official house in Chizhou City to ensure safety. In fact, Zhao Bing thought the boat was the safest, but considering that Wang Yinglin, Xie Fangde and his entourage officials had been on the boat for more than ten days and had not landed. He was fine, but they might not have to bear it. Now that the trip was halfway through, he agreed.

The place he chose was very big, and the gardens and ponds were all available, but Zhao Bing was used to wild animals for a while and felt very bored, so he thought to go out for a walk. But at this time, who dared to agree, maybe there were bandits hiding in the city, which made him very angry. Wang Yinglin was considerate and said that this was not far from Jiuhua Mountain, and His Majesty could go for a tour and relax.

Zhao Bing had not visited Jiuhua Mountain in his previous life, so he immediately approved it. This made his subordinates worry. They knew that His Majesty was unwilling to disturb the people when he was traveling, so they would not block the mountains and roads with great fanfare, but the light carriages would only go there. But seeing that His Majesty was very interested, everyone couldn't bear to wipe out his enthusiasm, and they also wanted His Majesty to relax.

So, the Imperial Front Office and the Guards camp were busy all night, and the arrangements were made. The emperor still had his pseudonym Huang Wuge'er and traveled as an official's son. The accompanying personnel also made a selection. Wang Yinglin and Xie Fangde accompanied him as tutors. Wang De led several small yellow gates and more than ten inner guards to pretend to be close friends, and several people from the Imperial Front Office accompanied him as poets.

The soldiers of the guard camp and the operation team pretended to be pilgrims, and the villagers were scattered around to protect them. The guard regiment first sent a team of men to secretly garrison at the foot of Jiuhua Mountain. Once there was something wrong, they would immediately go up the mountain to reinforce. The first brigade of the guards in front of the imperial guards entered combat readiness and immediately dispatched a large group of men to respond after receiving the call. Chizhou Prefecture also received a notice asking them to send people to lead the way, and arranged the cars and sedans needed for their trip, and asked them not to reveal a trace of wind.

The most difficult thing is that Lu Xu, the parent of Chizhou, attacked the imperial boat in his territory. He was ordering the county to search for the remaining bandits, and His Majesty was going out again, but he could not go there. Although he did not name a name and let him accompany him, he still had to go there after thinking about it. In order not to be recognized, he shaved his beard that he had been away for many years, and his white hair on his temples was dyed. He put on a Confucian shirt. He was not a very familiar person but could not recognize it for a while.

Before dawn the next day, Lu Xu and a few trusted followers took their car sedans to the waiting car. It was not long before it was heard in the morning. He was also on the way to the old man. Unexpectedly, the little emperor could recognize him. After asking a few questions, he arranged for him to go to have a meal first. When he went down, someone handed over to him, made a re-arrangement and explained the precautions. The coachman was replaced by people in the camp.

About half an hour later, everyone got on the car and set off. The group had six cars, including His Majesty, Wang Yinglin, Xie Fangde, and others, divided into two cars, the eunuchs were one car, and the remaining two cars were covered very tightly, Lu Xu could not see it, thinking that it must be something to be used on the way. Some of the followers rode horses in front and behind the vehicles, or sat on the shaft.

"Mr. Lu, Brother Wu called you to the same car!"

"This..." Lu Xu thought that the car was full of Shangguan, and there was no place for him. Seeing that the car was about to start, he asked his personal follower to come over and was about to accompany him, but was stopped by a big man who was accompanying him. He knew this person, Ni Liang, the chief commander of the imperial guards, and the emperor's confidant general, and he was a little hesitant for a moment.

"Mr. Lu, we are all the first time we arrived, and we still need you to talk about the scenery and people along the way!"

"Thank you for fifth brother!" Lu Xu hesitated, the curtain of the car beside him was lifting, and His Majesty was waving to him, and he hurriedly thanked and boarded the car.

"I have seen Wang Xiang, Xie Shuai!" The car sedan is quite spacious. The emperor sat behind the car, Wang Yinglin and Xie Fangde sat on one side. There were two inside officials wearing blue shirts and hats in front, obviously the attendant. He sat opposite Wang Xiang on the other side, after saluting His Majesty, he saluted the two of them.

"There is the prefect of Lu!" the two of them also replied.

"I dare not, this is the duty of the subordinate!" To be honest, being able to car with Your Majesty is a great blessing. Lu Xu was excited and a little restrained, and he kept polite.

"Mr. Lu, don't be too polite. Your Majesty travels in a condom, just be a friend." Wang Yinglin smiled.

"Mr. Lu, who I remember, was also accompanied by the court in Qiong in the first year of Xiangxing. He first served as a doctor in the Ministry of Revenue, and then served as a judge in Wanzhou. After returning to Jiangnan, he was appointed as a minister, right!" Zhao Bing asked.

"You... What the fifth brother said is exactly, I have been in Chizhou for three years." Lu Xu replied respectfully.

"Mr. Lu, since we have been in Qiongzhou for ten years, we can be considered to be sharing the joys and sorrows. There is no need to be so restricted, otherwise I will be nervous too." Zhao Bing smiled.

"Haha, it's already rude to me, my fifth brother and two gentlemen, and I'm really..." Lu Xu said with a dry laugh.

"I once heard Lao Zhuang say that you are in Chizhou and it is very hard to manage the borders and people. You often forget to eat and sleep. Before you are forty years, your temples are as frost and your beard is gray. But I see that your temples are black and your beard is not even apart. It seems that he is fooling me." Zhao Bing leaned over and looked at Lu Xu and smiled.

"No, no, the Zhuang Punishment envoy did not deceive the fifth brother. It was because I was worried that I would be recognized. I shaved my beard yesterday and my temples were covered with dyes." Lu Xu waved his hands and said anxiously.

"Haha, you are a real person, but you can also see that you often patroll the countryside and are worried about being recognized by the people." Zhao Bing laughed at the ear.

"Mr. Lu is very capable in charge of Chizhou, and his official reputation is very good. He has been highly qualified for the exams and evaluations for many years." Wang Yinglin said from the side.

"I've been praised, I've been criticized, this is all my duty!" Lu Xu felt embarrassed to say that he was praised by His Majesty and the important officials in the court.

"Mr. Lu, I won't have ordered it beforehand. Let's make some things that suit the situation and fool me!" Zhao Bing said half-jokingly.

"I must not dare to do it in the secret. The staff of the yamen know about today's affairs, and they dare not prepare more before leaving." Lu Xu said with a red face.

Lu Xu's words made several people laugh again, but it also made him realize that the little emperor was still as approachable as before. He did not feel relieved because he became more arrogant after his reign, and he spoke casually. After leaving the city, he took the initiative to introduce the customs and feelings around him. Of course, he knew that His Majesty went up the mountain to worship Buddha, so he focused on related matters.

Jiuhua Mountain is ranked among the 72 blessings of Taoism, and it ranks 39th, which is the place where Taoists practice. It was not until the fifth year of Long'an, the monk Judu from the Eastern Jin Dynasty, came to the mountain to preach scriptures and preach, and founded the thatched hut. A hundred years later, another monk Fuhu lived in Shibaoyan and built Fuhu Temple as a temple, which was widely used for men and women, but they could only live in Jiuhua forever.

Until the end of the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty, Zhuo Xijiuhua, a Jindizang, lived in a stream and closed his eyes and practiced hard. He moved Zhuge Jie and others to buy the old land of the Tanka and build Huacheng Temple. In the tenth year of Zhenyuan period of the Tang Dynasty, when Jin Qiaojue was 99 years old, he suddenly summoned all his disciples to bid farewell and passed away in the cross-legged position. According to legend, at that time, "the mountains sing stones fell, the buckles were singing, the birds cried, and the ground was shining with fire." His body was in the letter for three years, but it was still "colored like a living, the hands of the Douluo were soft, and the Luoluo had a sound, like a golden lock."

According to the "Mahayana Collection of the Ten Wheels of Ksitigarbha Sutra": Bodhisattvas "being as patient as the earth, meditation can be secretly stored." They determined that he was Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva. They built a stone pagoda, offered their body body in the stone pagoda, respected it as the Golden Ksitigarbha, and then built a physical body temple. From then on, Mount Jiuhua became famous and gradually formed the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's Resurrection and Transformation Temple, which was known together with Manjushri, Samantabhadra Emei, and Guanyin of Putuo,...

It was not far away, but in fact it was more than seventy miles away, and everyone was not in a hurry to rush. Along the way, Zhao Bing listened to Lu Xu's introduction of humanistic anecdotes. Wang Yinglin and Xie Fangde were also everyone. Although they had never been here, they also knew some of the anecdotes of the previous dynasty. They talked about Jiuhua Mountain was renamed because of a poem by Li Bai, and the poems and essays left by famous officials such as Wang Anshi and Fan Chengda of this dynasty, as well as the Jiuhua Poetry Society, which was known as the poet monk Xitan, and the "Jiuhua Poetry Collection" published by the publication. They were not lonely.

In this era, there were no high-speed rail or cars. When it was dark at the foot of Jiuhua Mountain, everyone stayed at the foot of the mountain. Because the temple was full of incense, there were many pilgrims coming to worship Buddha, which made a market here and a lot of inns. Some people who had already set up a stop in front of the station had already booked the entire inn. After checking in, they would rest early after meals and wait for the mountain to climb tomorrow.

The next morning, everyone had breakfast and climbed the mountain with many pilgrims. Considering that Wang Yinglin and others were not young, they had already prepared sedan chairs here. Zhao Bing was in good physical strength, so he didn't need to hike and climb the mountain with everyone. Their destination was Huacheng Temple, known as the Kaishan Temple of Jiuhua Mountain, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Temple, and the "main jungle" of Jiuhua Mountain Temple.

Huacheng Temple is also called because it is built in the alpine basin, opposite Furong Peak in the south, Baiyun Mountain in the north, east cliff in the east, and Shenguang Ridge in the west, surrounded by all sides like a city, which is indeed like "the mountains and flowing waters have a different sky". Once people enter this, they are like an inner city, so it is called Huacheng Temple. Zhao Bing observes the mountain situation, and the surrounding mountains are guarded by a military place.
