Chapter 1630 This is not an exercise

At 7 a.m., Ensign Hood yawned and woke up from his sleep.

Last night, Hood was on duty at the Navy Air Defense Command.

Hood was transferred to the Pacific Fleet to serve two years ago and has served in the Air Defense Command for more than six months. These six months can only be described as one adjective, that is, it is so idle that I feel sore.

It's really idle, and Hood doesn't know how to pass the time.

Looking around, several other staff officers on duty were sleeping in. Some dragged a few chairs into beds, while others just lay on the podium.

"Damn it, maybe it's a slut."

Hood rubbed his sore neck and turned toward the door of the duty room.

It was another boring and boring night, and the only good news is that there will be two days off next, and you will go to the bar for a drink later and then go to the hospital.

At this moment, the phone on the desk suddenly rang.

Hood ignored it, but the phone kept ringing stubbornly.

The phone ringing woke up several other staff officers and started cursing.

"Hood, damn it, cut off that damn phone line!"

"God, I can't sleep well, so I will aging prematurely!"

"It must be the idiots at the radar station again. They always keep calm! They always harass us at this time, and when I look back, I will kick their babies!"

But Hood is still a bit of military ethics.

While yawning, he walked to the table to pick up the phone. Hood asked dissatisfiedly: "Hey, this is the Air Defense Command."

"Air Defense Command, Air Defense Command! This is Oahu Radar Station, this is Oahu Radar Station!" A rapid voice sounded from the other end of the phone, "Unidentified aircraft was found 132 nautical miles north of Oahu Island. Repeat it, and UAH 132 nautical miles north of Oahu Island!"

The phone is connected to the speaker and it rings in the duty room.

The other few staff officers cursed again.

"Excuse me, oh, excuse me! Is it over?"

"Are these idiots pigs? What UFO? They are local b-17 bombers!"

"Don't these idiots at the radar station read the notice? I really want to kick them hard on the butt, God, what exactly are they pretending to be in their minds."

Hood also felt that it was a local B-17 bomber.

Besides the local B-17 bombers, what other aircraft can there be?

The Hawaiian Islands are hanging in the center of the Pacific Ocean for thousands of nautical miles. Except for long-range bombers such as the B-17 bomber, no other aircraft can fly here.

"I understand, I will report to the Navy Command immediately." Hood hung up the phone and called the command again.

The phone number was called quickly, but no one answered it. Obviously, the person on duty was sleeping in or simply went to have sex. This happened a lot before.

Hood didn't care too much, so he hung up the phone.

However, after being disturbed by this, Hood no longer felt sleepy.

He immediately grabbed the military uniform from the back of the chair and prepared to go outside to smoke a cigarette.

The wind outside was a little strong, so I finally drew the match with my back and then lit the cigarette. However, after taking a sip, Hood was stunned.

By this time, it was already completely bright.

The Air Defense Command is built on a high ground on the top of the mountain with a very wide view.

Therefore, Hood could clearly see more than ten miles ahead with his naked eyes.

So, Hood saw the densely packed planes in the sky ahead at a glance.

It was so dark that countless planes were flying over here from the northwest air.

With so many aircraft, it is obviously impossible for the US Navy to be aircraft, because all four aircraft carriers of the US Navy's Pacific Fleet are in their home ports, and the combat aircraft on the ship and the island have not taken off. It is impossible for them to be combat exercises. If it is an exercise, they will be notified in advance.

So that can only be a Japanese Navy plane!

The Japanese Navy is here to attack the Pearl Harbor base!

In an instant, Hood's hair stood up all over his body!

The next moment, Hood turned around and rushed into the duty room.

However, because he ran too fast, his feet were mixed to the threshold and he immediately fell to the dog and ate his shit.

The huge movement instantly woke up the other staff officers, sat up and looked at Hood in a look.

Before these staff members could laugh, Hood got up and rushed to the dispatching station with a whistle.

Then, under the stunned gaze of several staff officers, Hood pressed the alarm with a snap.

"Woo..." The air defense alarm sounded instantly soared into the sky, and the huge and sharp sound almost pierced the eardrum.

Then, Hood grabbed the caller connected to the broadcast again: "Pearl Harbor was subjected to air strikes, this is not an exercise! Repeat, Pearl Harbor was subjected to air strikes, this is not an exercise! This is not an exercise!"

Hood shouted three times in a row, and several other staff officers finally realized.

"Oh, Shaluhu Bichi!"

"Oh Tfak!"

"Japanese!"

...

Benjamin is an anti-aircraft machine gunner on the USS Nevada battleship.

At seven o'clock in the morning, Benjamin got up according to the strict routine of work and rest, and was washing on the deck, a sharp air defense alarm suddenly sounded in his ears.

"Oh, no."

"Damn it, here again!"

Several other sailors nearby cursed immediately.

Benjamin didn't care, thinking it was an exercise.

Because recently, the Air Defense Command has conducted such air defense exercises from time to time.

But soon, an anxious and panicked voice sounded on the radio: "Pearl Harbor was subjected to air strikes, this is not an exercise! Repeat, Pearl Harbor was subjected to air strikes, this is not an exercise! This is not an exercise!"

Benjamin's brain went down instantly. Isn't this an exercise? Not an exercise? Not an exercise?

A second later, Benjamin finally reacted, threw down the cup in his hand and ran away.

The next moment, several other sailors also reacted and rushed towards the machine gun position at a speed of 100 meters.

Benjamin ran to the rotating gangway and was climbing up, when a huge roar of engines suddenly sounded above his head.

I looked up and saw the black plane rushing towards the northwest. Under the rising sun, the belly and plaster patterns of these planes were clearly visible. It was indeed the Japanese plane!

"Damn it, oh, damn it!" Benjamin's heart sank instantly.

Such a huge bomber fleet suddenly appeared in Pearl Harbor, but they were unprepared.

So, what will happen next and what will happen next? Benjamin can easily guess that the US Navy Pacific Fleet is probably over!

Two minutes later, Benjamin finally climbed to his machine gun position.

The only thing to thank is that the anti-aircraft machine gun is loaded!
