Chapter 28 Magic Erosion

Chen Ang temporarily lives in Bojin's property in Hogsmeade Village. This is the only village in the UK that is full of wizard residents. The Hogwarts School is located next to the large lake that originated from this village. The architectural style here is strange, and the cottages are covered with thatch, just like a medieval village. Even though the wizards can build buildings as brilliant and tall as the Ministry of Magic, with modern style.

But the neuroticism and weirdness engraved in the blood of wizards make them make various choices that are strange to normal people.

On the one hand, the wizards who have magic power have different living habits than Muggles. Most Muggles think that dangerous and troublesome things are just a matter of waving their wands, so they are thick-handed and frigid. It seems that there is no word "careful and neat" in the dictionary, because for Muggles, the messy placement habit will make them unable to find anything, but for wizards, it is just a matter of flying spells.

They are not afraid of breaking or damaging things, because as long as you are not a magic item, a "repair as before" can restore unintentionally damaged things. When it is messed up, a "clean up" can make them neatly as before.

Therefore, wizards have a different understanding of damage, damage and chaos than Muggles. They cannot care about these troubles that can be easily solved by magic. So in Muggles, they all look like naughty children, and they are infinitely indulging themselves.

On the other hand, the bloodlines that gave them magic made them appear neurotic, crazy and weird. According to Chen Ang's research on Bojin's bloodline, the magic power surged in the bloodline would erode their rationality. This result surprised Chen Ang a little because the wizards eventually developed like Cthulhu, or they eventually tended toward magic.

Magic is completely different from the rational perspective of human beings in observing the world. Magic is another way to observe the world. From a scientific and human perspective, it looks a bit chaotic and difficult to interpret. Its logic and internal laws are indescribable to human beings and a mess.

The magic of the wizards was ultimately indescribable.

The stronger the wizards are, the more crazy they are. Of course, this is also the proof of the truth that they get closer to magic, because this magic itself is chaotic and anti-rational. If the arcane Chen Ang learned is the rationality and wisdom of magic, then the magic of the wizards in this world is a manifestation of the chaos and disorder of magic.

Those little wizards who have just awakened their magic are closest to normal people, but as they grow up, the magic in their bloodlines will gradually erode their rationality, making it increasingly difficult for them to understand everything about what humans call Muggles, because humans (muggles) are dominated by reason.

Those old wizards became more and more weird.

They will eat the liver of toads, the internal organs of bats, and the eyes of eels, and will allow their appearance to become alienated, usually becoming more ugly and distorted, with prominent knuckles, thin as dry bones, and their spirits are close to madness.

Of course, these are the symptoms that only the wizards in the most serious condition will appear. Generally speaking, only the poor wizards at the bottom will become like this in their later years. Learning powerful black magic will also accelerate this symptom, and they have almost mutated by magic.

Those pure-blood families with truly profound backgrounds rarely experience such changes before old age due to the magic and superior bloodline of inheritance. Magic erode their rationality, but magic helps them slow down this process. Pure-blood families are the natural laws of survival of the fittest and the product of human choice. Their bloodline is relatively stable and resistant to the erosion of magic. Therefore, they only look a bit strange until they die of old age. They will carefully choose their intermarriage partner to prevent bad degeneration of their bloodline.

Even so, their natural bloodline magic is constantly deteriorating, and they are becoming weaker and weaker.

But for those wizard families who are poor and have poor blood, pure blood is qualified to look down on them, and even regard them as residues. Chen Ang investigated in the taverns where wizards often gather that most non-pure blood families will become madmen in the eyes of normal people as they are of normal age.

Of course, the Ministry of Magic ignored this.

The magic resistance of the pure blood family is not unconditional. Once the black magic is refined, they will also have this kind of crazy trend.

The name "Miba Breed" is not the distorted pride of pure-blooded wizards, but they gave these non-pure blood wizard bloodlines that have not been screened for a long time. When they saw that the bloodlines of wizards became ugly and distorted, and were crazy in their old age, they began to eat fishy things such as toads and bats. They began to be bloodthirsty and had extremely unstable mental states, and gave these non-pure blood titles.

They realized that if non-pure blood was allowed to confuse their bloodline, their ‘noble’ bloodline would be degenerated.

Coupled with the impact of interests of wizards with Muggle blood, the magic world has caused two thoughts to erode this magic power. Voldemort, the representative of the pure blood family, proposed that the greatness of wizards comes from bloodline. Wizards with pure bloodlines have powerful magic power, elegant and calmness, while wizards with Muggle blood will only become distorted and ugly in the end.

The white wizard led by Dumbledore believes that the root cause of wizards to become evil and dark, and the root of madness is black magic, and wizards of Muggle blood are only less resistant to black magic.

Of course, in Chen Ang's opinion, both sides are idiots. No one dares to really suggest that the factor that makes wizards crazy is magic. Because it is simply denying the pride of the entire magic world. Wizards are proud of their own magic. What they think is extraordinary lies in the magical magic and powerful magic. If they deny magic, isn't that equivalent to denying everything about them?

There is no doubt that Bojin also showed those twisted and weird sides. He imposed a spell of loyalty in Hogsmeade Village, but it was dirty and messy inside, and the house was dilapidated, showing a wizard aesthetic that was completely consistent with the Burning Cauldron Bar, No. 12 Grimo Square, Burrow House, etc., and was surprisingly unified with the styles of Hogsmeade Village and Diagon Alley.

For wizards, it only takes one or two spells to create a grand and spectacular, comfortable and luxurious residence inside, and magic is enough to do all this, but they are messy and small. Is there anything else that can explain all this besides mental problems?

Chen Ang pushed open the door full of nail scratches, which made people creepy. The porch was an empty room with peeling wallpaper on the wall, worn carpets stained with dried blood, some rusty horse lanterns and some chandeliers hanging with broken spider webs. A staircase led upstairs. There were some portraits that had turned black due to the years of age. When they heard the sound of pushing the door, these portraits began to wake up. They turned to look at Chen Ang, and suddenly opened their mouths and muttered. The harsh sounds intertwined with each other, and some portraits of old women began to scream.

Chen Ang looked at them indifferently and raised his hand slightly and whispered: "Avadassoft!"

In an instant, the whole house became quiet. Chen Ang walked among the stagnant portraits and slowly walked up the stairs. The domestic elf behind him showed a horrifying expression. It excitedly shook the already quiet portraits and screamed: "Grandfather Herbert, Grandma Belvena? Aunt Bonamo?"

"Oh my God! Master...you kill them!"

"Shut up! Those are just some false memories. Their reactions and their actions are just driven by the curse behind this... Letting the portrait live is definitely one of the stupidest actions ever. I really don't know what these wizards think? The dead people will let them die, but they will make a piece of false memories and use the curse to deceive themselves."

He glanced at the dirty room and ordered Guru, "Carry it clean and spotless. I pile all the messy things into the basement. I don't want to see anything useless except for the necessary furniture."

After saying that, Chen Ang sent it a document "Laboratory Standardization Construction" and ordered: "Just follow this standard, use the transforming spell first for things that do not have. With your magical level, it should not be difficult to build this thing."
