Chapter 118: The Bodhisattva Sitting With Curtains, Hell Is Not Empty (Part 1)
Chapter 118: The Bodhisattva sits in the curtain, hell is never empty (Part 1)
Feng Junzi held these two pieces of paper and said, "One is the prescription prescribed by Grandpa Jin, and the other is the note that Shouzheng Zhenren secretly pasted on my forehead. Although the fonts on these two pieces of paper are different, the handwriting looks very similar to the same person."
"So that's it. You followed me today just to verify it with your own eyes? How did you get into Zhengyi Sanshan?"
Feng Junzi: "I can't get in if someone leads the way in front of me? Don't worry about how I get in! I'm here today, with three purposes. First, I want to see the fun; second, I'm afraid you will be bullied; third, I want to call you back soon. Hurry up and go back to Wucheng with me, something might happen in Jiulin Zen Temple."
"Jiulin Zen Temple? With monks like Fayuan and Facheng here, who dares to cause trouble?"
Feng Junzi: "The ones who are looking for trouble are coming to them. If it is someone else, then Fayuan is good to you, and Facheng has a good relationship with me. We are always embarrassed to turn a blind eye, right? Let's go quickly and say something on the way."
The troubles of Jiulin Zen Temple start with the "Mei Wending International Academic Seminar" held in Wucheng last year. At that time, Xiaolin, a practitioner from Yiguliu, came from Japan. Xiaolin was injured by the abbot of Jiulin Zen Temple on the way back. Fayuan did not make things difficult for Xiaolin, but just asked him to pass on a message and said that the abbot of Jiulin Zen Temple was waiting for Yiguliu to settle the old accounts. Speaking of this, my Shang Yunfei and I were more or less responsible.
The people from Yiguliu have actually arrived in Wucheng recently, and Feng Junzi discovered it. How did Feng Junzi discover it? It was a coincidence that this kid liked shopping when he had nothing to do during holidays. He was rushing and was anxious to urinate. There was no public toilet nearby, so he couldn't find a wall on the street to solve the problem. He turned his head and walked into the Zhaoting Mountain Hotel not far away.
Zhaotingshan Hotel was one of the highest-end hotels in Wucheng at that time. It was four-star, government-run, and the general manager was the deputy director of the Tourism Bureau. In this kind of hotel, the bathroom in the corner of the lobby was both clean, hygienic and spacious. Just as he walked into the bathroom, a tourist bus stopped at the entrance of the hotel, and a group of colorful passengers walked into the lobby under a tour guide holding a small flag. This was a foreign-related tour group. Feng Junzi was holding a gun in the bathroom and letting water. His hand was shaking for no reason, and almost wet the upper. He felt something was wrong outside, so he quickly pulled up his pants and walked out, and happened to see the tour group.
Unlike ordinary tour groups, the tourists in this tour group seem to be very well-educated and quiet. They lined up for the tour guide to arrange the room and went upstairs to rest in turn. These people didn't seem to be abnormal, but Feng Junzi felt that there was something wrong. The key problem was that the spirit fluctuations were too neat. The spirit fluctuations of practitioners were far stronger than ordinary people, but they could be restrained and not discovered. For example, I wore a spirit ring. Ordinary people were much more messy.
If you only see a tourist, there is nothing special about this tour group. However, such a large group of people are very restrained and most of them are not confused with each other. This can only explain one problem. Most of them are not ordinary people, and they are probably from the same organized sect. Feng Junzi is keen in thinking and realizes this. After all these people went upstairs, they pretended to be curious and asked the front desk lady. Although the front desk lady ignored him, she still told him that this was a tour group from Japan. Feng Junzi immediately began to focus on these people.
On the second day after the tour group checked in the Zhaoting Mountain Hotel, the day before I arrived in Zhengyi Sanshan, Feng Junzi had been wandering around the Zhaoting Mountain Hotel. During the day, the tour group visited the Jiulin Zen Temple under the guidance of a tour guide. It is said that in terms of the density of temples, Japan has the largest number of Buddhist temples in the world. Historically, Japanese people who have a large scale of going abroad generally like to do four things: study and survey, make money, burn and kill and loot, burn incense and worship Buddha. This time, they went to Jiulin Zen Temple to burn incense and worship Buddha.
Feng Junzi also spent three yuan to buy an entrance ticket and entered Jiulin Zen Temple. The abbot Fayuan is also an old world. If Feng Junzi can find something wrong with this tour group, Fayuan will definitely be able to discover it. Fayuan is generally not in front of the front, but he has been standing on the side of the yard in front of the Main Hall of Jiulin Zen Temple, straightening his chest and waist without saying a word. Exaggeratedly, he even took out the nine-ring tin stick, holding it in his right hand, and leaning on the ground.
Many other tourists didn't know what was going on, but they thought this monk was strange. Was it arranged to be a tourist attraction? Many people stood beside Fayuan to take a photo, and Fayuan didn't say anything. But Feng Junzi vaguely knew what was going on. Most of the Japanese tour groups were from Yiguliu. Today they came to step on the plate, and Fayuan came to demonstrate. What's more interesting is that a naive old monk Facheng didn't find anything wrong. Feng Junzi met Facheng in Jiulin Zen Temple and asked Facheng what was wrong with his senior brother? Facheng actually believed that Fayuan did this to show people the solemn treasure of this life to influence tourists outside the Hunting Sect. Feng Junzi could only shake his head.
Among the monks in Jiulin Zen Temple, only Fayuan and Facheng can be regarded as masters of cultivation, and there are not many disciples in the next generation, and there are few masters. However, Fayuan is too upright and Facheng is not familiar with the world. If only three or five masters came to Yiguliu, Feng Junzi would not worry about it, but this time the other party came to twenty or thirty people, it was obvious that Jiulin Zen Temple was not easy to deal with. During the day, there were many pilgrims and tourists in Jiulin Zen Temple, and there would be no conflict. If you really want to do it, you can only be after the night is late. There was no movement on the first night, and Feng Junzi was worried that something would happen tonight. It was just today that I entered Zhengyi Sanshan, and he followed me and wanted to call me back soon.
I heard Feng Junzi say all this on the way and said a little worriedly: "In this case, should we go back and ask Zhengyimen to help? Even if there are many people coming to the Japanese, there are so many disciples in Zhengyimen, and there are no need to be afraid of them?"
Feng Junzi shook his head: "It is not appropriate to ask Taoist priests to help you for the monks? Besides, Fayuan clearly doesn't want to ask someone to help, otherwise he would have gone to find the living Buddhas of Guangjiao Temple. Moreover, in the practice of the world of cultivation, he wants to help himself, so don't wait for someone to come to ask for it."
"Then do you think someone will come to help? Except for the two of us."
Feng Junzi: "The three major practice temples in Wucheng have many disciples in Zhengyi. Guangjiao Temple is an outsider. Although the old living Buddha has high cultivation, there are few disciples under his sect, and generally does not actively intervene in the struggle for cultivation. This time, Fayuan wants to resolve his senior brother's personal grudge. Once a dispute arises, there may be a dispute over killing karma. If the masters in the cultivation world really want to help, they can only come forward in secret and are inconvenient to come forward directly. If there is no scruple who can take action directly, I am afraid that the only two of us will be the ones."
"Fayuan, Facheng has kindness to me, and I will definitely go there. How about the opponent, is it powerful?"
Feng Junzi frowned: "There are 27 people in total, and at least ten masters can be considered masters. This time I see that the sect is full of movement. The trouble is that they are a serious tourist group. They take the bus from Shanghai to Wucheng. Outsiders can't catch the handle and can't see the flaws, and they don't have to guess in advance what they do. If they really want to wait until they take action, they will probably be caught off guard. Now, the key to breaking the siege of Jiulin Zen Temple is you!"
"Me? Why aren't you? You didn't seem to have Hei Ruyi brought with you."
Feng Junzi: "I just thought you were a little smart, why are you stupid again? Today I went to Zhengyi Sanshan with you, how could I carry Hei Ruyi with you? If someone discovers it, it's the same as delivering it to the door? And, where is Jiulin Zen Temple? Even if I do something, I can't use Hei Ruyi."
Then I remembered that Jiulin Zen Temple was submerged in an old house, surrounded by dense alleys of ancient houses. If a dragon soul was released in that place, no matter whether it was Big Lao Hei or Xiao Er Hei, he would not even be able to turn his body away. If he really wanted to start, he would not demolish the houses of ordinary people? I asked again: "Do I have such great ability?"
Feng Junzi: "Of course it's not your point. If I can invite Luxue down to Zhaoting Mountain, I don't have to bother others. But now, only one person has this great power, that is, Fahai, the old Zen master in Jiulin Zen Temple. And you are the one who can wake up Fahai. I ask you, have you understood the realm of the vacuum? Have you mastered the method of running the urn? How do you wake up Fahai? "
Feng Junzi asked me three questions in a row, which actually meant the same thing. As soon as he said it, I understood. To be honest, I really have a way to wake up Fahai now, but I just couldn't grasp it, but I could try it. I asked Feng Junzi strangely: "I know, it's all your teachings. Why don't you go by yourself and wait for me to come?"
Feng Junzi: "I can't explain clearly with you. In short, my situation is different from you. I can't do some things, but you can do them. Don't forget that the Five Aggregation Chronicle was what you and Facheng learned, not what I learned."
While we were talking, the bus had already arrived at the station. I originally asked to see Shouzheng, but found that Shouzheng was Grandpa Jin. Grandpa Jin told me how to save Axiu's soul and had a lot of things to discuss with Feng Junzi. But as soon as we left Qiyun Temple, we heard about the Jiulin Zen Temple, so we had to put down the others temporarily. When we arrived at Jiulin Zen Temple, it was 7:30 pm, and the sky in summer had just started to dark. The opening time for tourists had already passed, but the hollow door of Jiulin Zen Temple was wide open.
The pattern of entering the Jiulin Zen Temple is no different from that of ordinary temples. The first level is the Heavenly King Hall, surrounded by painted clay sculptures of the four heavenly kings. Facing the gate is the smiling big-bellied Maitreya Bodhisattva, behind Maitreya Bodhisattva is the glaring Bodhisattva. Fa Yuan held the nine-ring tin staff in his hand, and stood in front of Maitreya Bodhisattva with expressionless face, and exuded a majestic anger all over his body. At first glance, he thought that it was Weituo Bodhisattva who turned around and ran to the front.
Feng Junzi and I had just entered the door. Before we could say hello, Fayuan said in a deep voice: "It turns out that they are you two. I'm sorry, there is something wrong with Jiulin Zen Temple tonight. I'm not convenient for me to greet you. Please come back... Please come back another day."
Feng Junzi looked at him and smiled: "Come again the next day? Don't think I don't know what happened. You may not be able to say hello to you when you come another day. The abbot looks very majestic. Do you want to fight with a Zen stick? If that's the case, I think it really fits the saying - who will go to hell if you don't go to hell?"
"Who goes to hell if I don't go to hell? Brother, is he going to preach with his body?" The person who answered the conversation was not Fayuan, but the old monk Facheng who walked out from behind.
Fayuan ignored Feng Junzi's words, but turned to Facheng and said, "Junior brother, why are you out? Didn't I want you to guard the eldest brother's throne in the backyard?"
Fayuan looked like that, and he was determined to fight Yi Guliu alone. He didn't want to avoid or involve others. Even Facheng was sent to the backyard. The other monks in Jiulin Zen Temple were not sure where to go. It was probably because Fayuan had to find a way to temporarily send him away. The monk's temper was difficult to convince, so it would be better to say a few more words to Facheng. I went over Feng Junzi and said to Facheng: "Master Facheng, what did you say just now? Who would go to hell if I don't go to hell? Isn't this a mess?"
Facheng glared curiously: "This is the spirit of Buddha, who did I make trouble with?"
Feng Junzi also looked at me curiously, then continued my words: "It's not that you are making trouble, it's that Master Fayuan who is standing here to pretend to be Wei Tuo Bodhisattva. Facheng, I ask you, who is worshipped in the West Side Hall of Jiulin Zen Temple?"
Facheng: "Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva."
Feng Junzi was intimate with me, and as soon as I opened my mouth, he realized what I meant. I then asked: "What words are written on the yellow cloth strips hanging on both sides of the statue of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva?"
Facheng: "Hell is not empty, and I will not become a Buddha."
Feng Junzi clapped his hands and said, "Isn't this the case? Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva vowed that he would not become a Buddha without being empty in hell, but the Dharma Source was clamoring to squeeze into hell. Isn't this a bad thing for a bad Bodhisattva? You are a Buddhist, and you should hope that the Bodhisattva will become a Buddha as soon as possible. How can you drag the hind legs of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva? So the sentence just now is wrong. Don't join in the fun if you go to hell."
"Yes! What you said makes sense. Senior brother, how do you explain this?" Fa Cheng, the old monk with a white-haired and innocent face, scratched his head, frowning, and fell into deep thought.
Fayuan's face finally calmed down and he said to us: "The two of you have good intentions, Fayuan knows that today's affairs have nothing to do with you. I, Fayuan, do things one by one, and you should leave. This is not a fight between the grudges and the armies of the world, but my unfulfilled wish decades ago."
