Chapter 24: Parliament and Judgments(4/4)
"Lego."
A city guard sat next to Lago, which made Lago nervous. The lean meat porridge in his mouth suddenly no longer tasted good. He was afraid of the city guards. For no other reason than his instinctive nervousness and fear.
"I have something to investigate with you."
"What...what happened."
"Do you know Kuculin Baiye?"
"I don't know."
Hearing what he said, the bearded city guard immediately stopped smiling.
This frightened Lago so much that he nodded repeatedly and changed his words: "I know, I know."
"That's good, come with me."
The bearded city guards stood up and made a gesture to their colleagues on the roof. Soon, dozens of city guards appeared around, escorting Legault to the palace in the back city.
In a bakery not far away, Captain Arles of the Guard looked at everything on the street through the glass door. He put down the paper bag in his hand and said to the salesperson: "Calculate how much it costs."
"Sir...sir, these are free of charge."
"How can this be done?"
Arles put down a silver coin, held a piece of bread in one hand and went out. Putting on the long armor of the Praetorian Guard, he looked more handsome than before, adding a bit of majesty.
The peaceful day passed by at the fingertips, and the sky turned dark unconsciously. To the big shots of the elves, today's night seemed a bit long, because at eight o'clock tomorrow morning, it was the time for the Kingdom Council to be held.
