35. When the wolves roared(2/2)

A weird smile appeared on Darius Crowley's cold face. He looked at Liam, just like he did a few years ago, and he said softly:

"Then you'll soon find out why...Liam."

"That was an opportunity that Varian earned for himself with his life. To be honest, if you think you can do it, then you might as well give it a try...I will never stop you!"

"The young and unruly king...we are not the only ones who chose him, remember these words!"

——————————————————————————————————-

When they arrived at the position in front of the Beetle Wall, in front of them was a scene of demons dancing wildly. In the direction of the previous coalition military formation, the yellow sand was covered with blood. There were insect corpses and some torn bodies of coalition soldiers everywhere, and they were destroyed.

The airship plunged diagonally into the desert, and there were still flames burning in the ruins.

The insect swarm on the beetle wall in front has even turned into a black roaring storm, and the roar of artillery can be heard faintly, proving that the frontline army has not been completely wiped out, and they are still persisting.

Arthas put on his battle helmet, looked back at the phalanx formed behind him, and said to Varian beside him:

"I will lead the Paladins to charge for a while. After Bloody Fang's artillery breaks through the position, brother, you charge in with the remaining troops. We will pick up the frontline legions and leave here quickly. There are too many bugs."

"No, Alsace."

Varian lifted his hood and looked at the position in front of him. Behind him, the Bloodfang Legion's fully armed assault regiment had formed an array. Varian squatted down and pushed aside the quicksand under his feet. It was a

The elf who died here had a pair of eyes that had lost their luster on her beautiful face. The moon blade in her hand was stained with the green blood of insects. Not far from her broken body, there were three people she killed.

Head bug.

Varian stretched out his hand and closed the elf's wide eyes. He sighed, stood up, and drew out the gray sword from behind. He looked at Arthas beside him:

"Who said we are going to retreat? Look at these bugs in front of us, Arthas, I heard about the demigod. The demigod is also in crisis. If we retreat, it will be equivalent to leaving it behind.

In this dead place, without the help of demigods, we will never be able to defeat these bugs... We want to win, and this is our only chance!"

A cold light flashed in Varian's eyes:

"We will not retreat! We rush in! Today, we will end this war!"

"Buzz"

Amidst the scream of the gray sword, Varian moved his neck. He looked at Arthas with a wild smile on his lips:

"As for the charge? As before, leave this kind of thing to me."

"I will protect you like before..."

"But you only have one legion, and the other regiments are not familiar with you yet..."

Arthas wanted to retort, but he saw Lord Darius Crowley coming from behind. The latter stood behind Varian and followed the gladiators who volunteered to follow Varian's Black Ghost Chapter.

Stand together.

Varian felt the hot wind in front of him, the wind blowing on his face in the desert, and he said:

"Don't underestimate me, Arthas, and don't underestimate my soldiers..."

"Shua"

Facing the black insect tide roaring out from the insect swarm as he sensed the arrival of the backup troops, Varian raised the long sword in his hand, and then suddenly slipped it down:

"Wolves..."

"Follow me...charge!"

The moment Varian rushed out of the military formation with his sword, behind him, under Alsace's dull gaze, waves of wolf howls echoed across the sky, resounding throughout the desert at dusk, and the blood roaring towards the sky.

The fangs raised their weapons high, and in the shadows shining, a bloodthirsty legion followed Varian in the posture of beasts, launching a desperate attack on the swarm of insects that swallowed everything in front of them.
