18. The Civil War of Trollbane(2/2)

, a few words came out of his mouth...

"Danas, you... lunatic!"

The scene before him did not require any explanation from Kishaun. Any death knight with a brain knew what Lord Danas was doing. Some veteran high-level death knights grabbed the firearms behind them without saying a word and pointed the guns directly at them.

They were right about Danas. In their eyes, Danas' behavior was nothing short of rebellion.

But at this moment, Keeshan's deep voice sounded on the front line:

"Put down your weapons...Knights, this is...this is the lord's order, and he will bear all the consequences!"

So, in this alternating time of dusk and night, under the "escort" of nearly a thousand high-level death knights, the last military force of the Kingdom of Stromgard safely embarked on the departing fleet.

Garin Trollbane stood on the flagship of the fleet. He looked sadly at the edge of the strait behind, where Danaus stood alone. He wanted to shout something, but in the end, he reached out and wiped the tears from the corners of his eyes.

, then raised his hand and waved vigorously towards his cousin, as if it was a final farewell. Behind him, the soldiers of Stromgard who had escaped from death were also standing on the deck.

A military way to pay tribute to the former guardian of Arathi.

"Honestly, do you really know what you're doing?"

When the Blackwater Pirates' fleet disappeared over the horizon, at the moment darkness fell, Keeshan's voice sounded behind Danas:

"You could have done it in a smarter way..."

"Stop talking."

Danas interrupted Keeshan's words. Amidst the sound of the tide, he closed his eyes and stretched out his hands towards Keeshan:

"Come on...I just made a choice, that's all."

"Click"

The heavy shackles rested on Danas's wrists. Keeshan looked at the death lord in front of him who was seeking his own death. Finally, he shook his head:

"Then just wait for Tyrion's sentencing. To be honest, Danas, I have begun to admire you. Even after death, you are still a real man."
