35. The followers of death

"Um"

A low murm sounded in the dark stone chamber, like the last breath of a dying person, full of corruption and despair, but in this stone chamber full of undead runes, it represents awakening.

That is awakening in long-term dormancy.

"Clang"

The tightly closed sarcophagus was roughly pushed away from the inside, and the heavy stone cover hit the ground, making a noisy sound. The next moment, a dark figure sat up from the sarcophagus. He looked around in a daze, as if he was still in a dormant dream and reality, but after a moment, the light green eyes became fresh.

The slender figure crawled up from the sarcophagus. He lowered his head and looked at the black horny covered his body. The hard shell that looked like the residual after the insect cocoon was formed. Some parts were broken, revealing the black shell. The tender and smooth skin was like a new skin.

The awakened guy frowned. This action made the scabs on his face begin to fall off. This disgusting scene made him close his eyes. With the surging of the thicker and gentler death energy in his body, the cold current bursting from the inside out eliminated all the black scabs on the surface of his body. Soon, a slender and toned body appeared in the dark.

He closed his eyes and groped in the darkness. Soon, on the table next to the sarcophagus, he touched the familiar armor. The sensitive touch brought by the new body made him a little difficult to adapt, just like, it was like returning to the state of being alive, the senses that lead directly into the soul, rather than the dry conduction that used to be.

Amid the rustling sounds, black and delicate heavy armor with thorns and skeletons were worn on his body. His fingers jumped on the table and finally clasped the hilt of the sword that was placed in the last. The cold weapon and the slender body contained new power. This heavy sword, which was originally full of weight, seemed like a light feather in his hand, and the whistling sound of breaking through the air seemed very dangerous.

The phoenix's heavy sword was inserted back into the scabbard behind him. He put his fingers into his hand armor, fastened the rope, and then took a step forward. With the dim light shining by the crystal lamp, the awakened Lord of Death opened his eyes. In front of him was a dark mirror. Perhaps because no one had taken care of it for a long time, the surface of the mirror was covered with dust, and only a blurry shadow could be seen.

He stretched out his fingers and wiped away the dust on the surface of the mirror. What came into his eyes was the vivid face that seemed to be alive. Even his gray eyes returned to the pale green of the living. Apart from the long gray-white hair, there were almost no traces of death left on this body.

It was once again injected with vitality, but unfortunately, the one who dominated this living body was still a slightly tired and cold soul.

“It’s pretty good.”

Serent Fire Wing stood in front of the mirror and turned left and right. Finally, he nodded slightly satisfied. The role of the blood elves of the Life-Binding Swoogler was better than he thought.

The Death Lord looked back at the sarcophagus in the middle of the stone chamber. He withdrew his gaze and walked towards the exit. Before leaving, he took off the black iron war bow hanging on the wall, carried it behind his back, and then strode out of the stone chamber.

It took him five minutes to arrive at the top palace of the Dark Temple. This new body was pure and powerful, and the flexibility that was weakened by death also returned to him, allowing him to regain his agility as a ranger. When Serent came to the rooftop hall, the other death lords were already in the row. They stood in the hall and were talking in a low voice, and in front of everyone was the frozen throne.

Obviously, the Death Lords are waiting for the awakening of the King of the Dark Blade.

"Yo, it seems that I am the last one to wake up."

Serent walked into the lords, greeted several people who were familiar with him, and finally stood beside Roglio. The guy was still silent as before. Although he had recovered his body like the living, the cold that lingered on Rogge was still more like an orthodox necromancer than Serent.

Around them, Luminas was whispering to Eriel and Queen Lech about some topics that only girls would be interested in. The more beautiful appearance and lively skin made them very satisfied. The improvement of combat effectiveness was thrown aside by these two guys who valued appearance more.

The two orcs leaned against the stone pillars behind them, almost silent as before.

The Blood Lords stood on the other side. Thanks to the ability to draw blood, they did not hibernate after receiving the essence of the Dragon King's blood, but instead they were a longer adaptation period. Their power came from blood. If they wanted to control this powerful Dragon King's blood, what they needed was day after day of adaptation and practice.

On the right side of the Death Lord and the Blood Lord, stood the mistress Aurelia, holding her adopted daughter in her hand, Dornan. The Blade of Dawn was curiously looking at the knights beside her. After completely adapting to the existence of the undead, the children were no longer afraid, but became very interested in them.

A faint sound of brokenness sounded from the ice in front of you, like a muffled thunder, causing all the sound to dissipate at this moment. Everyone's eyes looked at the throne ahead. On the crystal clear ice surface, a wisp of crack had appeared, just like the frequency of breathing, it spread rapidly on the thick ice.

Soon, the solid ice covering the Throne and Terion himself was covered with spider-web-like cracks, and the blue eyes of the King of Death, frozen in it, blinked, and soon the broken ice dispersed in an explosive manner.

But the splashing ice did not hurt anyone. They were evolved from Terion's death energy. After the King of Necromancer completely awakened, these ice quickly dissipated and turned into wisps of dark red light, wrapped around Terion's body surface, and returned to its original source.

"Clang"

The Great Lord of the Dark Blade stood up from the cold throne. His whole body was surrounded by unimaginable heavy energy, and his activated body became more tough, just like the container itself was expanded, and the death energy that had been concentrated to the limit in his body began to grow again. This time, there was no need for a blasphemy seal. At the moment when Terion's fingers crossed, the heavy death energy was wrapped around his body, as if it was a set of armor given by darkness.

Behind him, the closed energy wings slowly thrust, and then suddenly opened, like a shadow covering the sky and the sun, covering Terion himself. The next second, as the King of the Dark Blade gathered the energy in his body, the wings covering his body turned into black light feathers and dissipated in the stagnant air.

"Have you had enough rest? Everyone?"

Terion sat back on the throne, his hands were placed on the armrest, his eyes swept over the people in front of him, and he whispered:

"Do you remember the future I promised you when we came to Delano?"

"We will return to where we were born, we will reshape the world in our own way, we will avenge the black hands hidden behind the scenes of the world, and for a great goal, we are united and fighting to this day... we no longer need to wait."

"Time is here! Everyone... it's time to declare our existence to Azeroth, it's time to make the living tremble. Our era has begun, and the only thing I can't be sure of is... are you ready?"

"I'm already impatient to wait."

In the silence of the crowd, Luminas, holding his arms, shouted loudly:

"Go to start, Terion! Take us back to Azeroth! Use death and blood to wash away that world and build our dark empire!"

"Haha, I know."

Terion let out a deep laugh:

"I knew you were ready to prepare for war! Let Kardga begin to broaden the door of darkness, and all doubts will be answered in the war. In that bad world, so many admirable people are looking for a reason to unite all living people... Let us satisfy them!"

The Great Lich, Gorrond, and Yongmao forest land at the center, Kadega, who woke up from months of dormancy, stood quietly by the pool. In the pool in front of him, the surface of the Delaney Ecological Ship immersed in the water was completely wrapped in fresh vines. In the greater sense of the Great Lich, under the steel shell, the powerful source of life had been completely awakened.

It was like a huge heart beating. With the frequency of breathing, the trees in the entire Yongmao forest were growing rapidly. In just a few months, one-third of the originally deserted land of Gorrond has been covered with lush vegetation.

The life force contained in the awakened creature in front of me was something that Kadega had never seen in any classics. The pure, aggressive and expansive life force seemed so hideous in the magical vision of the Great Lich.

And beside him, two mages, one tall and one short, were living people, but they were trembling and without saying a word. Obviously, they were in extreme fear.

Joe Al, the Death Knight who obeyed Kardga's orders, stood beside the Great Lich. When Kardga turned his head, the Death Knight said in a hoarse voice:

"Terion has awakened, he has issued a war mobilization, and the undead people in the entire outer realm have begun to gather... He is unwilling to wait any longer."

"Of course he doesn't want to."

Kardga said calmly:

"If I had such a huge army and caught up with the wars and panic in Azeroth, I would not wait any longer. Terion is a very good at seizing opportunities. It is not surprising that he made such a decision. To be honest, having such a decisive leader occasionally makes people feel at ease."

"Joe, go to the Hellfire Legion to report. From now on, you will become a loyal subordinate of Terion, perfectly complete any tasks he ordered, and do not need to hide anything from him. I will contact you when necessary."

"As for orders, sir!"

Joe Al didn't refute anything. He just accepted the order like a real Death Knight, and then strode away from the Yongmao forest. So in this prosperous and distorted forest, there were only three people and three mages left.

"A long time will always make people forget a lot of things, but the light of friendship will not fade as time passes."

Kardga turned around and looked at the human mage behind him. A strange smile broke out on his cold face:

"My friend Arugao, aren't you going to say anything to me?"

Under the cold gaze of the Great Lich, he was brutally knocked out, and then he rushed to the Drano continent and clenched his fists. He had a hard time these days, especially the humiliation and anxiety that could not be wiped away in his heart. He looked at Kadega, and he gritted his teeth and said:

"What do you want me to say to you? Your subordinates killed my mentor... Master Ur is indifferent to the world, he will not join your war at all. That irreconcilable old man is innocent. Why did you kill him? Why did you keep me alive?"

"The Blood Watcher also paid a price to assassinate the Great Master Ur. Ms. Nasa was injured, and the four new guards were killed in Dalaran. This is all because of your discooperation!"

Kardag said indifferently:

"Your stupid choice has cost me a precious ally, and you have no idea what I am doing. The Necromancer will bring destruction to your world, and what I want is different from him... You only need to know this! I took the risk to bring you back to Draenor not to listen to you scold me, now, tell me, are you willing to obey me or continue to do the right thing with me?"

"Don't want me to serve you!"

Arugao stared at Kadega with hatred: "The Gilnesses will never surrender!"

"it's a pity..."

Kadega shook his head. The next moment, the sudden burst of cold air froze the high-level mage Alugao into an ice sculpture in an instant. His angry expression remained on his face, and the fire of life... in his body had been completely extinguished.

The great lich was like crushing a reptile to death. He then set his sight on the dwarf mage beside Arugao, and a trace of curiosity flashed in Kadega's eyes:

"Mr. Millhouse, as far as I know, no one in Dalaran can survive the messy teleportation of space. You are the first one..."

The dwarf master looked pale. He looked at Alugao, who was frozen into an ice sculpture beside him. He swallowed hard, gestured his fingers, and said in the sharp voice of the dwarf:

"That's all luck... If it weren't for your help, I would have fallen to death in a high altitude..."

"So I saved you...Milhouse, you have to learn to be grateful and serve me...I will only say once..."

Looking at the ice magic shining at the tips of Kadega's fingers, the dwarf master was decisively cowardly. He knelt on one knee on the ground and lowered his head to Kadega:

"Okay, okay! I'm willing to...will serve you, powerful Mr. Lich."

"No! Not for me."

Kardga corrected the misrepresentation of Millhouse Mana Storm, pointing to the southeast sky and whispering:
Chapter completed!
