3. Three buns and four old people

Just as Feng Junzi and Lin Zhenzhen were standing in front of Zhang Wenzheng's tombstone, Zhang Wenzheng's daughter Zhang Ting also came home from school. As usual, she was carrying a plastic bag containing buns. The buns were a rare food in the village, and several elderly people in the family liked to eat them. But strangely, there were four elderly people in the Zhang family, namely Zhang Ting's grandfather, grandma, and grandpa, but Zhang Ting only brought back three buns at a time, and the four elderly people had to take turns to eat them.

But the Zhang family is no longer surprised by this. This is almost a tradition. This tradition is left by Zhang Ting's father Zhang Wenzheng during his lifetime. Zhang Wenzheng used to bring back buns to honor the elderly after work, but there are only three at a time. The elderly don't know why, and they never asked. Zhang Ting is sixteen years old this year and just went to the first grade of high school. Her father died a year ago in a mining accident. Her mother took care of four elderly people from two families alone. The family was not well-off. Zhang Ting does not ask her mother for pocket money. Most of the money for buying buns is given by her sister-in-law Zhang Wenqing, and a small part is saved by herself when she does odd jobs and digs yam.

After putting down the things, Zhang Ting did not rest for a long time, but walked out of the village with a big bamboo basket on her back and went to the wilderness not far away to pick up firewood. The village is not far from the mining area of Qingjiang Coal Mine. Zhang Ting looked a little dazed today. The road she took was different from usual. She unconsciously walked within the scope of the mining area. While picking up firewood, she approached the mine where his father had an accident.

Zhang Ting was thinking about things while walking. She couldn't figure out why people from the credit union came to their house to ask for money today. Her father borrowed 1,000 yuan from the credit union a year ago, not long before his death. The mother didn't know about this matter at all, but her father's signature was true. This was not the father's habit of doing things. He usually had to discuss everything with his family and never spent money randomly. What was going on? Just as she was thinking about it, she suddenly heard a woman screaming behind the mound, and then heard a man's anxious cry: "Lin Zhenzhen, where are you? How are you? Did you hear me talking?"

...

When Lin Zhenzhen suddenly disappeared, Feng Junzi panicked for a few minutes, and then tried hard to calm himself down. Judging from the situation on the scene, Lin Zhenzhen might have fallen into the mine because of a mistake.

He now has two choices, one is to go down to find Lin Zhenzhen immediately, and the other is to find someone to rescue him quickly. But neither of these choices are good. If Lin Zhenzhen is injured now, he should find her to rescue her as soon as possible. Time cannot be delayed. But if something happened to him himself, no one would know that something happened to them here. Feng Junzi's brain turned rapidly and quickly made the decision he thought was the most reasonable.

He took out the phone and called the receptionist of the Qingjiang Coal Mine for this meeting. This was also the only number he could remember, telling them what was happening here, and informing them in detail about the location. He placed his coat on the wooden sign at the entrance of the tunnel as a mark, and then prepared to go down the mine to find Lin Zhenzhen. Just as he was standing at the entrance of the mine and shouting inside to hope to get a response, suddenly a girl with a big bamboo basket on her back came out from behind the mound. Feng Junzi didn't know her, and this girl was Zhang Ting who had just passed by.

Zhang Ting was also surprised to see someone standing at the entrance of this abandoned tunnel and shouting in, but she was a very enthusiastic person. She knew at a glance that Feng Junzi had encountered some troubles, so she also walked over and said hello: "Who are you? Why are you here? What troubles are you in?"

Feng Junzi was very happy when he saw someone coming. He didn't have time to explain, and said to Zhang Ting: "Little sister, I have a friend who accidentally fell down just now. I want to go down to find her now. Can you help me stay here for a while? Someone will come from the mine later. Tell them that I'm going down to find someone."

Zhang Ting: "It's dangerous down there, you're still waiting for someone to come."

Feng Junzi: "It's too late, I want to go down first. Can I help me guard for a while?" After that, he leaned over and crawled into the entrance of the tunnel. Zhang Ting was shouting outside: "What's your name? Why did I tell the person I came?"

"My name is Feng Junzi, I came to the mine for a meeting..."

Feng Junzi felt very strange when he walked into the mine. The slope of the mine was not large and the width was enough for two people to walk in side by side. According to this situation, it was impossible to fall down. Even if he accidentally fell, the position could not be very far away. However, Lin Zhenzhen could not be seen in the range of eyesight.

Feng Junzi could only continue to walk deeper into the tunnel. As the road went further and further, the light from the entrance of the tunnel became darker and darker. After a relatively steep slope, nothing was visible in front of him. Feng Junzi instinctively took out the lighter and was about to ignite it, but suddenly he remembered that it was impossible to ignite in the mine pit of the coal mine. The only thing that could illuminate was the screen of the mobile phone. He took out his phone and pressed a button. The screen of the mobile phone emitted a faint green light. Feng Junzi waited for a while, and after his eyes adapted to the environment in the tunnel, this faint light could also vaguely illuminate the shadow of the pit wall.

Feng Junzi groped with his hands to walk forward carefully, paying attention to the situation on his head and feet from time to time. Without walking a few steps, his body was already in the darkness, and there was no sound in the dead and deserted tunnel. Feng Junzi could almost hear his heartbeat. Feng Junzi felt something was wrong. Whether Lin Zhenzhen was injured or not, she could not go so far, and she didn't see Lin Zhenzhen along the way. Where did she go? Is this a man-eating black hole?

Thinking of this, Feng Junzi felt a little scared in his heart, and his whole body was surrounded by a cold air for no reason. He felt that it was not a very wise choice to continue walking around here, so he decided to go out first and wait for the rescuer to come. However, on the short road when he turned around and left, he found that he had lost his way.

Feng Junzi didn't remember any fork on the way he came. In fact, he only walked for a short time, but when he turned around and walked on the road, he couldn't see the light at the entrance of the tunnel. The light on the mobile phone screen was very dim, and even a few steps away was lifeless darkness. He groped in the tunnel for a long time, but he didn't reach the exit.

His hand touched something on the wall of the pit and suddenly had a cold war. This thing was not terrifying, it was just a protruding stone, and there was a dent on the stone. However, when Feng Junzi touched it, he suddenly understood something - because he had touched this stone more than once. He suddenly realized that he did not walk out because the tunnel was very long, but because he was spinning around.

Feng Junzi thought of the three words "Ghost hits the wall". He immediately understood what happened. The abandoned mine was not very clean. The ghost hitting the wall we encountered in this situation was not a circular road that people usually think of as different strides between the legs, but a real encounter with ghosts blocking the way. Feng Junzi once had the experience of not being able to get out of the ghost alley, so he naturally thought of this (see the second part of the "Ghost Alley" series for details).

A female ghost named Piaopiao once told him that if he encounters a ghost hitting a wall, he should remain calm. If he is calm and does not feel afraid or fearful, the ghost can actually not block the path of people. However, this sentence is easier said than done. This mine that is invisible may be heavier than the alley that cannot reach the end. Feng Junzi cannot hold his head up and his chest without fear.

Feng Junzi could only calm himself down as much as possible and began to take big steps forward. He vaguely felt that there was something invisible in the darkness around him surrounded him. If there were really a resentful spirit here, there might be more than one. Although Feng Junzi vaguely guessed his situation, his inner fear became even stronger. He walked for a long time but still couldn't get out of the invisible darkness surrounding him.

But he was not completely desperate because he knew that rescuers would come to find him soon at the entrance of the tunnel. Just as he was thinking this way, he saw a light coming from the darkness not far away. He looked up and couldn't help but feel a little surprised. The person who came was not the rescuers from the mine, but the girl who was guarding the entrance of the tunnel. She was not carrying a big bamboo basket on her back, but holding a portable mine lamp.

Now, no matter who Feng Junzi sees, he will be as excited as if he sees a savior. He quickly walked over and said, "Little sister, why are you coming down? What about the others?"

The girl replied, "The others will arrive soon, please follow me up, you have been here for a long time."

Seeing the girl entering the tunnel with the mine lamp, Feng Junzi's mood suddenly calmed down. He had forgotten the feeling of fear. He remembered that he came here to find Lin Zhenzhen. The personnel who continued to rescue had arrived, so he didn't have to hurry up. So he said to the girl: "Give me the mine lamp, there is still someone here, I must find her first."

The girl seemed to sigh and said, "There has collapsed in front of this waste mine, so it is impossible for anyone to go there."

Feng Junzi: "Then go ahead and take a look. Maybe the person I'm looking for is there."

Girl: "Okay, let's go and have a look together."

It seemed that the resentful spirit could not appear under the light. The situation in the tunnel was very clear. Feng Junzi and the girl walked a short distance forward and had reached the end of the collapse. The road had been blocked. Lin Zhenzhen could not be here. Although Feng Junzi was full of doubts, he had to turn around. On the way back, Feng Junzi became more convinced that he had just encountered the resentful spirit blocking the way, because he had just walked less than a hundred meters and had seen the light at the entrance of the tunnel.

Feng Junzi cheered and greeted the girl, "Let's go out soon, we're here." Only the girl's voice was heard saying behind her, "You're walking in front, I'm following the road behind."

Feng Junzi didn't care about his demeanor, and took two steps at a time, running and climbing out of the tunnel. When he saw the sunlight outside the cave, he couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief and felt like he was seeing the light again. At this time, he heard someone around him saying, "Have you just gone down to find your friend?"

Feng Junzi turned sideways and saw the girl who brought him out from the hole just now. In the blink of an eye, the girl's appearance seemed to have changed again. She was still standing at the entrance of the tunnel with a large bamboo basket on her back. The mine lamp in her hand disappeared. It seemed that there was no change before she entered with Feng Junzi. It seemed that she had been standing here and guarding her. Feng Junzi was also very surprised to hear the other party's question, and asked back: "Didn't you go down with me just now? Where did your mine lamp go?"

"What? Go down together? I've been standing here and still moving?" The girl looked at Feng Junzi with a strange look when she spoke. Feng Junzi turned around and looked at the girl's eyes carefully. The girl's pure eyes were free of any impurities, and she could not tell at all that she was lying.

Feng Junzi: "You really have been standing here just now and haven't been down?"

The girl: "Of course, I promise you to stay at the entrance of the cave."
