Biography: Bigu's Life (3) Desireless Rigidity

During the period when I just started practicing fasting, my classmates may have always tried to ruin my practice because of their jealousy of drinking and eating meat at the beginning of the month, or because of their compassion for me to suck wind and dew at the end of the month, and gave me many life reform suggestions, but I didn't know that what I was going to pursue was a state of neither joy nor sorrow. In the eyes of ordinary people, the experience of great joy and great sorrow is the best way to find neither joy nor sorrow.

Almost at the end of every month, when it is time for dinner, the comrades in the same dormitory like to knock on basins and bowls for me, and even "kind people" greet me: "Banxian, I have cooked too much food today, so I can give you one even. In fact, nine of us all evenly give you one evenly, and you have enough food, why do you need to fast?"

I know they are not really so kind, otherwise why don’t they help African children? It’s just that I see different from what they imagined and cannot accept it. I am used to drinking and eating meat, so how can I be tempted by carrots and cabbage? I can fast in a life without wine and meat. This is called the strength of desirelessness.

Have you only heard of the fact that there is no desire to be strong? Tell you that this is a misunderstanding. This allusion comes from "Laozi". There is a sentence in "Laozi" that "the combination of male and female is not known, and the essence is the ultimate." Among them, "Pin" refers to female and male, and "the combination of male and female" refers to male and female things when used on people. Based on this, this sentence refers to a male baby. When there is no desire for male and female in his heart, the natural * is a symbol of pure yang activation, which is called "the rigidity of non-desire".

"Laozi" has only 5,000 words, but the concept of "baby" is mentioned everywhere, namely "to focus on energy and be gentle, can it be a baby", "to be confused, like a baby who has not yet a child", "to be always virtuous and return to the baby", and another sentence is "the virtue is thicker than the innocent child". "Clean child" means a naked little boy, which also means a baby, which is probably the origin of the word "carnation" in Chinese.

I often listen to speeches or reports from leaders and activists at university. There is always a saying: We should use a innocent heart... how to serve this and contribute to that. I often block them from the audience and ask what the "innocent" in the "innocent heart" means. Unfortunately, none of them can answer it.

What can you expect a "nudity" to do? The so-called "nudity heart" means that you have no mind at all. Later I understood that some people called on others to have a innocent heart, not to ask everyone to do something, but to hope that everyone will not think about anything or ask for anything. As a child, you don't know anything.

Some people say that the one who praises Lao Tzu the most is the Chinese language and the two emperors of Han and Jing. I don’t think so. The one who praises Lao Tzu the most should be Qin Shihuang. He likes the people who are ignorant and desireless, otherwise there would be no burning books and burying scholars. However, burning books and burying scholars is not Lao Tzu’s fault. Lao Tzu said that “the inseparable virtue” must start from the top, which is called “the highest good is like water”, but Qin Shihuang did not use this standard to demand himself. He built the tallest building in the world at that time - Afang Palace. Is there anyone else going to build the tallest building in the world? Do you know?
