Chapter 214, I have no mercy, what is the hindrance? I have no mercy to ask about the child's heart
Did Chu Suiliang know that Chu Yunxing's life experience is wrong? Even if the truth is not confirmed, I'm afraid there will be a clear idea. In that era, there may be foolish and incompetent people among the middle and lower bureaucrats, and there may be foolish and ignorant monarchs on the dragon throne. However, no official who can climb to the position of prime minister is not shrewd, and it is nothing more than the difference between loyal ministers, treacherous ministers, honest officials, and corrupt officials, let alone Chu Suiliang, a famous minister of a generation.
But Chu Suiliang said nothing and showed no abnormalities, so Chu Yunxing never had any doubts about his life experience. As for the rumors that the Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara appeared in the process of spreading, it was compiled by the association. I don’t know who made the words of adding fuel to the fire. With these rumors, the Xingyuan Temple once became incense.
After Master Xingyun learned about his true life experience, he could imagine how emotional he felt. No one else told him, and only Zhang Guo was by his side, so he told him, "I don't want to be the master of Cuiting Temple anymore."
Master Xingyun didn't want to be the abbot of Cuiting Temple. The reason was very complicated and it was not easy to explain clearly. In short, after learning the truth of that year, her experience of becoming a monk seemed a bit absurd, at least in terms of cause and effect, it was a misunderstanding and a sad misunderstanding.
Where can she go if she doesn't go to Cuiting'an? She is a homeless person. Fortunately, Zhang Guo arranged her directly to Tingsong in Qingyi Sanshan. She was once Mei Zhenyi Wenxue's enlightenment teacher, and no one said anything when she lived here as a VIP.
But you can't let a nun live for a lifetime without understanding, right? What are the plans of Master Xingyun? Zhang Guo wanted to ask and persuade him, but he always felt that he couldn't speak. Xingyun was silent, listening to Songju's middle and not leaving the house. Today, he heard from the young master that he told this, hoping that Mei Zhenyi could give him an idea.
Mei Zhenyi felt a little dizzy after listening to it. The first thing she thought about was not Master Xingyun, but the life experience of Tang Monk in "Journey to the West". There is no such paragraph in the main text of Journey to the West, but there is a very abrupt appendix between the eighth and the ninth chapters, with the title "Chen Guangrui went to the post and suffered disasters, Jiang Liushou took revenge and revenge."
This is a story for Tang Monk, saying that his father Chen E, whose courtesy name is Guangrui, was the top scholar. He was hit by a hydrangea while parading on the streets. The person who threw the hydrangea was Wen Jiao, the daughter of Yin Kaishan, and the story of a talented man and beautiful woman. Chen E married Wen Jiao. Soon after, Chen E was sent to Jiangzhou to be an official, but encountered a strong man on the way. Chen E was killed and Wen Jiao was robbed. The name of this strong man was Liu Hong.
Liu Hong took Wen Jiao to Jiangzhou as Chen E. At that time, Wen Jiao was pregnant. She endured humiliation for the child in her womb. When the child was born, she took the child to the riverside and left a blood letter in her cradle, and placed the child on the wooden board to float away along the river. The child floated outside Jinshan Temple and was rescued by a monk named Faming.
The child grew up in Jinshan Temple. Xuanzang was the monk. Eighteen years later, Elder Faming took out a blood letter to tell him about his life experience. Xuanzang took the blood letter to Jiangzhou and secretly met his mother. After confirming his life experience, he went to Chang'an grandfather's house to report the news. Naturally, Liu Hong was killed. At that time, Chen E was rescued by the Dragon King and returned to life. The family reunited again, but Yin Wenjiao later committed suicide.
This passage is completely fabricated. After Mei Zhenyi traveled to the Tang Dynasty, Master Xuanzang was already famous all over the world. Xuanzang's life experience was innocent, and his father, Chen Hui and his grandfather, Chen Kang, were both famous scholars for a while, and there was no such thing as Chen Guangrui. Moreover, the legend of throwing hydrangea balls and choosing a son-in-law was compiled. Since ancient times, there has never been such a thing in the Han area. The Zhuang people have the custom of throwing hydrangea balls and throwing hydrangea balls and making a living. But it is also a kind of game in the festival, where men and women use it to convey feelings. In short, such legend is just a fantasy of ancient literati.
So why did Xuanzang describe such a life experience in "Journey to the West"? Generally speaking, the compilation of myths and stories has the shadow of various folk legends since ancient times. It is estimated that the author changed the legend of the Chu family and wrote it into a story. The experience of Jiang Liushou in the story can also show the shadow of Yue Wumu Duke in the legend.
Mei Zhenyi can confirm that later generations wrote "Journey to the West". The material in the appendix is the origin of Master Hsing Yun. Because Master Hsing Yun's father was named Liu Hong. His mother also had a surname Yin, and was the granddaughter of Yin Qiao, Duke Chen of the Tang Dynasty. He also thought of Lu Dongbin's plays with Guanyin and the legend with Bai Mudan. Isn't that a story he experienced? But after being spoken by word of mouth among the people, it is a completely different version.
Thinking of this, Mei Zhenyi sighed and Zhang Guo asked nervously: "Do you have any ideas for the young master?"
Mei Zhenyi shook her head: "It's hard to feel like this kind of thing to fall on anyone. It's like a person knows how to drink water and how to treat it. After all, the master is a woman and it's hard to talk about it. I don't have to ask or persuade her... Since the master told you, I definitely hope you can help you make an idea, why don't you comfort her in person?"
Zhang Guo also sighed, "I can't speak up, I can't persuade her to go back to Cuiting Temple, but if I advise her to return to secular life, it seems that I have selfish intentions."
Mei Zhenyi glared: "Don't you have selfish intentions? There are no outsiders here. Tell me the truth. At this point, what do you think about Master Hsing Yun?"
Zhang Guo held it in for a long time before he said, "Master Ruo is Miss Yin, I would like to be Liu Hong!... But how can I say this at this time?"
Mei Zhenyi asked, "Zhang Guo, let me tell you the truth. When the Master told you this past, have you ever hugged her?"
Zhang Guo shrank her shoulders and lowered her head, as if she was about to find a crack in front of her toes. She stuttered and said, "I hugged her. I held her in my arms and patted her on the shoulder. It was just to comfort her, and it had no other meaning... Master, how did you know?"
Mei Zhenyi slapped the table: "It is not difficult to guess that if you even hold a nun, you have to be responsible for it!"
Zhang Guo sighed again: "I really want to be responsible, but I have to be willing to do so. If I say one more word at this time, I will be suspected of taking advantage of others' danger. If Xingyun is embarrassed, it will not be easy to stay in Qingyi Sanshan. Where would you let her go?"
The master and servant sighed face to face here. After a long time, Mei Zhenyi said, "Women's thoughts, go and ask Zhiyan."
After finding Zhiyan, Zhiyan blinked and thought for a long time, but there was no good advice. As the saying goes, it is said that it is difficult for a clean official to make a decision on family affairs, let alone such a secret sadness and hard work? Zhiyan can handle the affairs of Qingyi Sanshan very properly. There is no good way to do this kind of thing. Looking at Zhang Guo, he only said: "Master Xingyun is indeed not the nature of a nun."
Mei Zhenyi said on the side: "Yes, we all know, we have seen it a long time ago, but the master seemed to have a knot in his heart at this time."
Zhiyan pondered: "I really have no idea about this kind of thing. There is someone who has seen a lot of knowledge, maybe you can ask it." Zhiyan said of course, "It's a slippery turn." This little ghost once loved to ask about Zhang's parents and Li's family's questions, so he didn't listen to too many secret private gossips. He definitely had rich experience in this kind of thing.
For the first time, he took the initiative to invite Ti Liuzhuo to tell her about other people's private past, and finally asked her what suggestions did she have? Ti Liuzhuo is rare, but does not talk too much, but thinks seriously for a long time, and finally said: "I have experience in this kind of thing, and it is really hard for others to say anything. You can find someone who has no intention of being ill. There is no malice at all, and it has nothing to do with this matter. He speaks directly at the person who is intimate but asks her in person. Even if he is not happy, the master will not have any other thoughts."
It's a good idea to find someone who is completely scheming, has no malice, has nothing to do with this matter, and is so easy to speak directly at all? Not to mention Qingyi Sanshan, even if you search Wuzhou, it is difficult to see him. But when Ti Liuzhuan opens his mouth, everyone thinks of someone, that is, the earthly moon fairy child on Jingting Mountain. No one in the world can meet these conditions better than her.
Mei Zhenyi nodded repeatedly and said, "Please come Mingyue Fairy Child, just a few words. Don't forget that Master is not an ordinary person, but also a practitioner with clear minds. You only need others to point out what she thinks in her heart."
Mingyue will not take the initiative to care about these other people's business, so she naturally asked around to ask for help. Who told him that he had a good relationship with Mingyue? Only he can curse Mingyue and beg for help.
"Master Xingyun. I have heard of your life experience. All beings cannot choose their own origins in the samsara. Since you have experienced the sea of suffering, you will naturally understand what to do?" This was the first sentence that Mingyue said when Song Juzhong Mingyue said. It was indeed straightforward. There was no one else next to you, only Zhang Guo accompanied Mingyue.
If someone else said this, Master Xingyun might have thoughts. But from Mingyue's mouth, he said it without any scheming. Xingyun stood up and saluted: "Since the fairy boy spoke, Xingyun was just about to ask for advice."
Mingyue blinked and said before she asked, "If you want to worship a Bodhisattva whom you don't want to see, then it's not true practice."
This sentence reveals the secret. Master Xingyun did not return to Cuiting Temple because he was unwilling to worship Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva. Of course, the reason was related to her parents' experience. She couldn't even explain it clearly, but in short, she was unwilling to do so. However, for a female nun who has been keeping precepts and rituals for decades, she really couldn't say this.
"Will the Bodhisattva blame me?" Xingyun asked softly with his head down.
"Do you blame the Bodhisattva?" Mingyue asked back.
Master Xingyun: "My parents' affairs are chosen by them and have nothing to do with Bodhisattvas. What can I blame for Bodhisattvas?"
Mingyue: "Why should the Bodhisattva blame you?"
That is, Mingyue, who advised a master not to worship Bodhisattvas, and could he speak so simply. Master Xingyun still lowered his head: "The world is so great, where will I go, where will I practice, and where will I stay in my mind?"
This is a question, but Mingyue's answer is very straightforward: "Don't you just live in Tingsongju? Except for you who are embarrassed, I see that everyone here is very welcome. You can return to secular life and become a lay Buddhist or continue to be a nun. If you return to secular life, Zhang Guo will definitely be very happy. You are not unaware, but you are actually willing."
Can Xingyun not know Zhang Guo’s thoughts about Xingyun? He may not know at first, but it would be strange if he couldn’t see it for such a long time! And Mingyue directly pointed out a sentence - you are willing to do it yourself.
Zhang Guo's face turned red in an instant. If someone else said this, he would definitely scold him, "Don't talk nonsense at a child!" But Mingyue was not easy to scold him when he spoke, so he could only listen honestly from the side. He felt a secret joy in his heart, which was very complicated.
Master Xingyun's face turned red. He just recited the Buddha's name and stopped it quickly, murmured: "Sincerely sin!"
Mingyue: "What are your sins?"
Master Hsing Yun: "I don't want to chant the Buddha's name at this time."
Mingyue shook her head: "Why can't you recite it? Lay Buddhists at home also recite the Buddha's name."
Master Xingyun suddenly knelt down and looked up and said, "Thank you, fairy boy, for your advice. I can't overcome it. I'm just a little embarrassed, and I'm still tied to fame and each other... I just want to ask for advice, is there any hope for my practice in this life? If there is hope, when will it be hopeful?"
Mingyue wrinkled her nose: "There is no such statement at all. If you have achieved your cultivation, it is useless to say it. After all, you have not yet transcended the cycle of reincarnation. If you are unwilling to worship Avalokitesvara today, you don't have to be hypocritical. When you see Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva safely and freely in the future, you will be considered as practicing."
Master Xingyun glanced at Zhang Guo beside him, lowered his head and asked, "Immortal Child, how do you think of the bondage of love?"
This sentence was wrong. She wanted to ask about the relationship between men and women. No one should ask Mingyue. Mingyue was indeed stopped. She stretched out her little hand and scratched the back of her head, bulged her cheeks and thought for a long time before answering: "My brother Qingfeng said that she would not be attracted by love, nor would she be attracted by ruthlessness. Otherwise, what would the Golden Immortal ask for for love, and what would the Bodhisattva talk about compassion?"
The bright moon is a retelling of the Qingfeng word. What does this sentence mean? People often say that practitioners pursue transcendence of their minds and are not affected by the seven emotions and six desires. But this statement may also lead to another misunderstanding, that is, some people believe that ruthlessness is the true practice. Qingfeng emphasizes that since they are not attached to "emotion", they should not be attached to "ruthlessness", which is true practice.
"I understand." Master Xingyun paused his head and bowed.
Mingyue clapped her hands: "Since that's the case, I'll have nothing to do. I'll go find Ti to slip around."
