Chapter 253 Seven-character tactic

Subtitle of this chapter: Don't speak badly about Yuan (mu) Yan (rong) Shu (wu)

………………………………………………………………

"Mr. Yuan Yanshu has a saying that is often spoken. If a person has no sense of humor, what is the difference between it and a salted fish?

He is indeed funny and humorous, and the literary works he creates are even more interesting, some are fascinating and some are disgusting.

In 1921, Mr. Yuan published his first two vernacular novels, "The Wives and Concubines" and "Rural Teachers".

"The New Youth" published in February of this year, "The New Youth" was his famous work and an important work in the history of modern literature. This novel immediately made him an idol of intellectuals of this era. Mr. Hongjian's name is officially known to the world.

"Rural Teacher" was released in June's "Renovation" magazine. This science fiction novel that Albert Einstein admired was spread all over the world overnight, and it can be called "The Paper Prize in the City of Demons".

At that time, the Chinese literary critics circle lost their voices for a while, and many literary people did not know how to evaluate novels like "Rural Teachers". I only knew that there was such a work in Vernacular Chinese, which was no longer the Xialiba people mentioned by the old-fashioned characters.

Although many people did not know Mr. Yuan Yanshu at this time, everyone agreed that he was a progressive scholar with outstanding literary talent, a broad mind, loves the country, cares about the people, and is anti-imperialist and anti-feudalism.

However, at this moment, a lilac poem by Mr. Yuan was passed back to China. It is said that this was written by him as a "confidant" on Chinatown. The poem he wrote by himself is still retained in the Mr. Yuan Yanshu Museum in New York.

The poem says: The romantic love will not allow Cai Songpo, and he dares to laugh at Hu Shizhi. He protects flowers better than Chen Zhongfu, and pays money quickly to Master Kong.

The meaning of these four sentences is that he has prostitutes more than these four, which is really ridiculous.

Mr. Hu Shi was generous and kind, and laughed at it. Later, he became Mr. Yuan's friend.

Chen Zhongfu was well-known for being extreme and stubborn, and this was a great shame in his life, so he hated it deeply and later described Mr. Yuan as "a lackey of American imperialism."

Mr. Kang Youwei was considered "respected" at that time, and criticism was neither not criticizing nor criticizing, so he had to say nothing. However, the knot in his heart was planted, otherwise Mr. Kang would not have written the time travel novel "Wanqing" in the future.

However, Liang Qichao was quite unhappy after reading this poem because it wrote about his deceased disciple Cai E. However, at that time, the Chinese Public School had hired Mr. Yuan as a professor of economics, and he also loved Mr. Yuan's talent very much.

When someone asked, Liang Qichao just said, "Hongjian is crazy." This sentence immediately spread throughout the country.

Therefore, before Mr. Yuan Yanshu returned to China, he had already become the name of a crazy student. He is truly worthy of being the "last crazy student in China"..."

"Actually, Mr. Yuan's recent poems are also well written, and there are often wonderful sentences. For example, he wrote to his fiancée Ms. Wei Mingzhu before marriage, "I once whipped a horse because of drunkenness, for fear that the beauty would be tired of love."

However, as "Yuan Shuai" of the Vernacular Chinese Movement, he deliberately did not write such classical Chinese works after returning to China. Instead, he wrote a lot of limerick poems and wrote many famous couplets.

In 1922, Mr. Yuan had a little conflict with his father, and he wrote a couplet for his younger brother to bring to the old man.

The first couplet is: Peach Blossom Fan in Taohua Temple. The second couplet is: Willows on the shore.

This couplet contains four allusions of four talented men, which is really elegant.

After reading it, his father smiled bitterly and said to others that I could not be a talented man, but gave birth to a crazy child. The father and son reconciled.

After this incident was reported by Shen Bao, it also became a beautiful story among the people.

In 1939, the news of the death of the famous Beiyang general Wu Peifu was passed to Chongqing.

Mr. Yuan happened to be in the capital at this time. Although he has always been arrogant and arrogant, he and Wu Ziyu have a good relationship. The latter also admires the talent of this little brother.

At that time, he was very sad and scolded someone else for not understanding. The damn S value!

So Yuan Yan suddenly set up a mourning hall for his friend in Chongqing, but the elegy couplet he wrote caused a lot of trouble.

The first couplet of this couplet is: The old Beiyang is still aware of dying for his country, and the second couplet is: The new Huangpu only knows how to eat (shit crossed out) salary. Horizontal draft: New is not as good as old.

It is conceivable that Chongqing was in an uproar, and the National Government military was even more indignant, and some even wanted to lead troops to argue with Mr. Yuan.

But he was a guest of honor at the government office and an important "friendly person" from the United States, so this matter was finally suppressed by the superiors.

In fact, Mr. Yuan Yanshu's most famous couplet was given to the Jiang couple. Because it is too famous, the author will not elaborate on it.

On December 1, 1927, when Jiang and Song married each other, this couplet leaflet was printed and distributed to all corners of Shanghai. In fact, Mr. Yuan was not in China at that time, but he was the leader of Baisuishan, and some of the Hongmen disciples helped him do things.

This couplet made the newlyweds so angry that they were filled with smoke. Not only did Chiang Kai-shek furious, but Mrs. Song never said a word to Mr. Yuan later, because of this…”

"Mr. Yuan Yanshu likes to evaluate the celebrities of his contemporaries and has created a "seven-character verse".

The last three words of this seven-character song are the names or synonyms of the characters he evaluates, but the first four words are an antonym.

For example, Li Hefei, who loves the people as his son Zeng Changsha, Yuan Xiangcheng, a loyal minister of the Qing Dynasty, and Zuo Xiangyin, a friend of the Qing Dynasty.

These are all old characters, which can be considered final. However, in addition to dead people, Mr. Yuan also likes to make songs for living people.

He said that Mr. Zhongshan was "leading by his leader, Sun Tanxiang", and said that Huang Xing was "a generation of military god Huang Keding". He also used "to die, Tao Huanqing" and "to keep himself in peace with Governor Chen (Chen Qimei)" to satirize the scandals in Guangdong before. This made Mr. Sun and others very unable to get out of the stage.

If Yuan Yanshu hadn't had a very good relationship with the Japanese and had a Japanese friend tell him about it, he might have "died to the point".

He also said that Wang Jingwei was "loyal to serve Wang Nanhai", and this sentence came true.

In addition to the south, Mr. Yuan was even more straightforward to the north. He said that the Zhang father and son of the Fengtian clan were "learning Zhang Dashang" and "the young man from Guangda's family lintel Zhang".

Cao Kun, who was a direct company, "never bought tickets Cao Zhongshan (he became president in bribery in 1923)," and Qi Xieyuan "had a straight head (Lao Qi was short but had a big head, and had a squint, nicknamed "Qi Datou" and "Squintey Commander" later became a traitor."

However, he had never written a seven-character song for his friend Wu Peifu.

In fact, Mr. Yuan Yanshu was not polite to his friends and colleagues around him.

He said that the Zhou brothers were "friends and respects Zhou Kunzhong", said that Xu Zhimo was "not abandoning the chaff of Xu Qisen", said that Wu Mi was "one-minded and devoted to Wu Yu Monk", said that Hu Shi was "a moral model Hu Shizhi", said that Zhang Dongsun was "modern and cautious Zhang Hangzhou", said that Liang Qichao was "a consistent Liang Rengong"...

Later, someone deliberately asked him in person what the seven-character song he wrote to him was. Mr. Yuan did not think it was offensive and replied with a smile: Don’t speak badly about Yuan Yanshu.”
