Chapter 96 Under the Moonlight
Wanghen frowned, but Xiaoyao didn't see it.
The wolf demon's eyes were green, especially in the dark night. Wanghen's thoughts were in a daze for a moment. She could clearly see everything at night without light. Once, she got out of bed when she was thirsty at night and walked directly to the table to pick up a cup to drink water. The whole process was not smooth at all, so that her mother-in-law was stunned when she saw her. Now she thought about the look she looked strange when she saw her. Until one time, she clearly saw her green eyes in the bronze mirror. She was so scared that she took two steps back.
Wanghen was recalling the memory, so he became stunned. Xiaoyao wiped his mouth and looked at her with satisfaction, "What's wrong with you? Didn't you eat well?"
Wanghen shook his head quickly, "No, I'm very well eaten. I'm full, so I'm going up too." As Wanghen said that, he left here and went upstairs to rest.
At night, Xiuyuan couldn't sleep and sat on the roof. He looked at the quiet moonlight and breathed deeply. He fell asleep happily and skillfully, but there were also forgetful marks of insomnia. This was the first time she had left home when she was so old. After leaving her mother-in-law, she would make a bowl of soup for her to drink every night before she could fall asleep. It has not been a day since she fell down for seventeen years.
Wanghen opened the window and planned to look at the moon, but he didn't expect to see a person sitting on the roof, looking at the sky like her.
"Master Jigong?" Wanghen murmured in a low voice. She was wondering whether to greet his elder brother. Xiuyuan recognized the person who opened the window.
Xiuyuan nodded to her, and Wanghen also smiled.
"Master Jigong, why are you not sleeping yet?"
"Get out and get some breath." Xiuyuan replied.
Wanghen nodded, and the two of them didn't know what to say for a moment, which seemed a little embarrassed.
Wanghen lay on the window and held his head to look at the moon, "The moon is so beautiful. When I was in the mountains, I always felt that it was very close to me when I looked at the moon at night."
Xiuyuan also looked at the moonlight and Wanghen continued, "Master Jigong, why did you become a monk?"
Xiuyuan was stunned and looked at Wanghen. His face and eyes that were clearly the same as Buyu. He remembered Buyu's eyes in despair. Finally, Xiuyuan's head began to hurt.
Seeing that he didn't answer, Wanghen felt that what he asked was indeed inappropriate, "Shouldn't I ask this?"
Xiuyuan shook his head, "No, I'm back, you go to bed early, we're still on the way tomorrow morning." Xiuyuan said a few steps and jumped back to his room.
Wanghen was still standing by the window alone, looking at the lonely moon.
She closed the window and looked back, and accidentally saw herself in the mirror. She was slightly stunned. Her eyes turned out to be a faint green at night.
Wanghen didn't dare to think too much, so he pulled off the mirror and lay back on the bed.
The next day, Xiaoyao came to knock on Wanghen’s door early in the morning. Wanghen opened the door, Xiaoyao was stunned, "Your eyes are swollen."
Wanghen nodded, and he basically didn't sleep much in the middle of the night, "I didn't sleep well."
"Are you ready? We're leaving." Xiuyuan also came over, and he clearly saw the dark circles on Wanghen's face and some signs of not sleeping.
Wanghen nodded, "Let's go."
"Are you okay?" Xiaoyao asked quietly beside her.
Wanghen smiled and shook his head. The three of them were still cultivating their fate first, and the two were behind. The order of the two was on the way again.
After nearly a day of travel, in the evening, Qiliu Town was finally no longer so far away from them.
Wanghen suddenly felt a sense of unreasonable panic. Xiaoyao was still talking about his own childhood story in his ears, but Wanghen's panic became heavier and heavier.
She couldn't help but slow down. When Xiaoyao looked up again, she saw that she had already fallen behind, "Wanghen, what's wrong with you?"
Noting that her pace was getting slower and slower, Xiaoyao was stunned for a moment, Wanghen covered his chest and waved his hand at him, "It's okay--"
Xiuyuan also stopped. He saw Wanghen’s pale face. The next moment, Wanghen began to sway. She couldn’t stand it anymore. Xiuyuan grabbed her in front of Xiaoyao and put her on the ground. Wanghen lay down in Xiuyuan’s arms.
Xiaoyao assisted Xiuyuan and the other two to put her down and under a tree.
"What's going on?"
"Give me the water to Xiaoyao." Xiuyuan took the water bag handed over by Xiaoyao and tried to pour some water into Wanghen to moisten her pale lips.
"Are you too tired?" Xiaoyao asked himself.
Xiuyuan didn't say anything, pressed Wanghen's Neiguan and Shuigou acupoints, and soon Wanghen slowly woke up. She opened her eyes and looked at the two figures that were gradually becoming clear in front of her.
"Master Jigong."
"Don't talk, lie down for a while." Xiuyuan comforted her.
For some reason, Wanghen felt very at ease when she was around Xiuyuan. She let her breathe calmly, and the feeling of panic gradually faded.
Xiuyuan handed Wanghen into Xiaoyao's hands, and he got up.
"What's wrong with you?" Xiaoyao asked her, "Are you too tired? If you had known you wouldn't have brought you here."
Wanghen tried to sit up, "Maybe he didn't sleep well yesterday, I didn't mean it."
"If I were deliberately trying to leave you, my master and I would definitely leave you." Although Xiaoyao didn't speak nicely, he kept pressing her Neiguan acupoint like Xiu Yuan had just done.
Wanghen gradually recovered, "I'm fine, let's hurry up." She also felt that it was too late for everyone to feel sorry for so long. At this moment, Xiuyuan came over, with two yellow fruits in her hand.
Wanghen looked at Xiuyuan in a daze, and his expression was calm, "Eat this and replenish your energy."
Wanghen took the two fruits and had washed them very cleanly. Obviously Xiuyuan had just gone to find the fruits. Wanghen nodded and thanked, "Thank you, Master Jigong."
After resting for a while, the three of them were about to set off on the road again. Xiaoyao and Xiuyuan deliberately slowed down. Wanghen knew that this was accommodating her and walked to a difficult place. Xiaoyao simply squatted down and asked her to come up, intending to carry her on her back.
"Born me?" Wanghen pointed at himself, his eyes very surprised.
"What else do you do? You are so slow, come up quickly." Xiaoyao's usual bad tone, Wanghen smiled embarrassedly and climbed up.
In this way, I finally arrived at Qiliu Town when it was dark.
"It seems that I still have to find a place to live." Xiaoyao sighed, "I'm going to starve to death."
Xiuyuan looked at this town. It was not that big than Tiantai Town and was not very crowded.
The three of them found a small inn and stayed temporarily.
After ordering the dishes, Xiaoyao played with two chopsticks and waited hard. Wanghen was exhausted and kept drinking water. Xiuyuan walked to the counter and watched the idle waiter.
"How do you get to the county government?"
"County government office?" The waiter paused, "It's not far from this, just turn to the corner of the street and walk eastward."
Xiuyuan smiled, "Thank you, is there anyone named Liu Xianliang here to work?"
The waiter shook his head, "I don't know this. You are not locals, are you?"
