Chapter 369

On the eighth day of the fifth month of the sixth year of Shaowu, the Ming and Qing dynasties signed the Dagukou Treaty in Dagukou.

The Dagukou Treaty of Ming and Qing Dynasties stated: First: The Qing Dynasty evacuated Yanjing, and the Forbidden City must be kept intact when evacuating; the Qing Dynasty evacuated the Central Plains and Liaodong, and these places were returned to the Han people. Manchus who were unwilling to leave the above territories automatically joined the Ming Dynasty and became Han people. Similarly, the Han people who were willing to follow the Qing Dynasty were also allowed to leave. The Ming Dynasty did not restrict the personal freedom of the bannermen, Han people and Mongolians.

Second: The Qing Dynasty retained its title of emperor and vassed the Ming Dynasty. The Ming Dynasty and the Qing Dynasty were forever the country of uncle and nephew. The Qing Dynasty expeditioned the west, expeditioned the Khanate of Western Mongolia and established its own territory in the Western Regions.

Third: The Qing Dynasty changed its hairstyle and prohibited the rat-tail braid. In addition, there are no restrictions on other hairstyles, no restrictions on clothing, and free choices for Hanfu and other clothing.

Fourth: After the Qing army left Yumen Pass, the Ming Dynasty began to provide weapons, ammunition, food and manpower for the Qing Dynasty. The Ming Dynasty released the Green Camp Army and the Eight Banners Han Army captives. The Qing Dynasty's western expedition included the destruction of the Yarkand Khanate, the acquisition of the Kazakh Khanate and the Khanate around the Caspian Sea, and the Junggar Khanate, Tubo and other countries to surrender to the Ming and Qing Dynasty.

Fifth: The Ming Dynasty assisted the Qing Dynasty in relocating the tombs of Taizu and Taizong of Qing, and the eldest princess Heshuochun of the Qing Dynasty went to the Ming Dynasty; the Qing Dynasty released Wu Yingxiong and asked Wu Yingxiong to go back to reunite with Wu Sangui, the King of Pingxi.

Sixth: The Ming Dynasty and Jiang Guan from Datong, and the Tumote tribe outside the pass were contacted to ensure the safe retreat of the Qing court and the Qing army to Lanzhou.

After the two parties repeatedly confirmed the contract letter, Yue Le signed the contract on behalf of the Qing court and stamped the jade seal of the Qing Dynasty on the contract.

The two sides shook hands and made peace. Finally, Zhao Peng shook hands with Yue Le and asked: "From the date of the Dagukou contract in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, how many days will your Qing Dynasty withdraw from Yanjing?"

Yue Le said: "Moving is not a matter of one day or one night. I hope the loyal and brave wait can give you half a month."

Zhao Peng shook his head: "It's too long half a month, you can set off and return to Beijing. After returning to Beijing, you will give you ten days! All the bannermen who must move out of the capital within ten days! The bannermen who don't want to leave can stay, but they will have nothing to do with you, the Qing Dynasty, and they will be subjects of the Ming Dynasty from now on. But one thing is, the bannermen who stayed now live in the houses of Han people. If any Han people take the land deed to ask for a house, they must move out. Our Ming Dynasty will resettle them with new houses. Also, the land in the horse racing circle will be returned to the Han people."

"Okay, ten days are ten days." Yue Le agreed.

Within the few days of negotiations between the Ming and Qing dynasties, Bumubutai and Fulin in the Forbidden City had already begun to organize their belongings. The Forbidden City was in a busy scene. The palace maids and eunuchs were busy packing up the palace items and their own personal belongings, putting various items into boxes, and then loading boxes of goods into the car.

When Yue Le came back, he also brought a gift from Zhao Peng to Fulin: a huge four-wheeled carriage, which is six meters long and three meters wide, with three windows on both sides, and two windows on the rear of the car. The windows are made of transparent glass. There are bedrooms and bathrooms in the car, and a heating boiler. The wheels at the bottom of the car are iron wheels and Eucommia glue on the outside. The connection between the wheels and the carriage is a soft connection. There are shock absorbing springs to increase the comfort of the vehicle.

Such a huge carriage requires ten horses to lead, and the road from the capital to Juyongguan is difficult to walk, but after leaving Juyongguan, the road to Zhangjiakou is relatively straight. After entering the grassland, it is full of Mongolian grasslands.

Fulin received the gift from Zhao Peng to him and immediately got into the car. When he saw the flush toilet in the bathroom in the car, he felt very novel. He was amazed: "This toilet is really clean, it is covered with tiles. When you press the button, you can automatically flush it."

There is a toilet storage tank under the toilet in the bathroom in the car, and the excrement is stored in the toilet storage tank. Every night when camping, eunuchs can be asked to clean the toilet storage tank to ensure that the toilet storage does not overflow.

The civil and military officials of the Qing court, almost all the Han officials and the Eight Banners Han Army officials expressed their willingness to follow the Qing Dynasty to fight the West. On the contrary, many Manchu Banners and the Eight Mongolian Banners were unwilling to leave. They would rather choose to stay and be Han people than follow the Qing Dynasty. If the Ming Dynasty had not stipulated that the Qing Dynasty would not kill people indiscriminately, Bumu Butai really wanted to cut off a group of people's heads.

"What's wrong with staying and being a Han Chinese?" said a young Man Eight Banners.

An official said: "What's the best? The hardcore crops are gone, and the land from the horse racing circle will be returned to the Han people. You still stay and wait to starve to death!"

The flag director laughed: "My uncle, I am still young! The Ming Dynasty recruits soldiers and wants people, so I just sign up for the army! I heard that the Ming Dynasty is well treated as a soldier. If I have been a soldier for a few years, I will have my own territory. If I fight well, I can still be promoted!"

The Han official sneered: "If you go to the battlefield and die, you will have nothing."

Qi Ding smiled and said, "I heard that the Ming army has excellent weapons. He has never been the only one who can beat others, and others cannot beat them! Why are you afraid of joining such an army? Even if you die, the pension will be very high. At least your wife and children will not worry about you."

This sir of the Zhengbai Banner stayed, changed his surname to the Han and Wu. Later, he joined the Ming army and made great contributions to the Ming Dynasty's territory. He was finally promoted to a school-level officer. His descendants also made good progress. Later, they entered the peaceful era, and his descendants entered the entertainment industry and became a famous tough guy star.

Many such flag servants stayed, and they all chose to join the army. Many people later followed Zhao Peng across the ocean and went to North America on the other side of the ocean, where they established their own countries.

The ten-day deadline has arrived, and the Qing court began to leave the capital.

Fulin and Bumubutai got on the large carriage that Zhao Peng gave him. The palace maids and eunuchs followed the carriage, and the Qing imperial guards were surrounded by protection. At the front of the team leaving the city were a large group of Eight Banners soldiers, behind them were the vehicles carried by the families of the Eight Banners generals, and in the middle was the royal team of Fulin and Bumubutai.

Princes and princes such as Yue Le and the prince were also in the royal family, and the vehicles their families were riding in followed closely behind.

At the end, there were civil officials who followed the Qing Dynasty to leave Beijing. Almost all Han officials and most Manchu officials left Yanjing with the Qing Dynasty. Those who stayed in the capital were ordinary flagists. Most of the Han people in the capital outside Zhengyang Gate stayed, and only a few merchants followed the Qing Dynasty.

Almost all the Green Camp soldiers followed the Qing Dynasty. Only a very small number of soldiers who were unwilling to leave became deserters and hid among the people. After the Ming army entered the city, these Green Camp soldiers went to join the Ming army.

Fulin left Yanjing, and he abides by the Ming and Qing contract, leaving behind a very well-preserved Forbidden City. Two-thirds of the bannermen in the city left, but one-third of the bannermen remained.

BumuButai and Fulin took the Qing Dynasty civil and military officials and soldiers, most of the bannermen and some Han people left Yanjing, and saw the Ming army light cavalry who had already been waiting outside Yanjing, so they followed from afar.

The Qing Dynasty relocated team left the capital from Andingmen in Yanjing and walked all the way north. Because there were many women, children, elderly and weak in the team, the team walked very slowly. After walking for a whole day, they had not yet entered the mountainous area north of Yanjing. After dark, the Qing Dynasty team set up camp on the plains before entering the mountain.

The Ming army's light cavalry came up from afar and sent a flag-speaking signal to the Qing army behind the hall, asking why they were walking so slowly?
