In the late 1950s, our country began to study related technologies of drones and officially began to develop military-purpose drones in the mid-to-late 1960s. More than 30 years later, in the 1990s, several series of drones with target aircraft, reconnaissance and support as the main functions, and various models of drones were developed.

Starting from two thousand years, experimental installations have begun with thermal induction originals, high-definition surveillance lenses and other high-tech and functional drones.

At the same time, most foreign military forces in advanced countries already have professional drone troops. Satellite-guided attack drones and reconnaissance drones are now flying around the world, and they even break into our country's airspace from time to time.

Considering that drones will become more and more widely used in modern warfare, the General Equipment Department and the General Staff jointly organized this prize-winning design solicitation for drones.

On the one hand, I want to use this event to brainstorm our country’s future development of drones. On the other hand, I hope that all relevant universities and scientific research institutions will pay attention to the development and application of this technology in the future.

If ordinary people saw the collection activities on the military website, the first thing they thought of was the medium and large drone flying high or high altitude. After Qu Sen saw the news, his mind was full of Zhou Li's "little toy".

In Qu Sen's view, the medium and large drones that can detect high altitudes, even provide precise strikes and long-range fast tactical support are drones, and the little guy with four propellers of Zhou Li is also drones.

The first is a long-range drone equipped with originals such as thermal sensing. In Qusen's idea, this type of drone is mainly used to perform battlefield monitoring and reverse osmosis tasks under complex terrain and in small areas.

The second type is somewhat similar to Zhou Li's current "little toy", equipped with a high-definition camera and sound pickup component. However, the fuselage will be designed as thin and light as possible, and the propeller will also adopt a silent design. This kind of drone is mainly used in the operations of scouts and special teams, conducting secret reconnaissance and intelligence collection.

The third type is purely a thought of Qu Sen, inspired by some war blockbusters. In this design, the most important component of the drone becomes a high-definition zoom camera, which is controlled by a portable visual remote control. It is mainly used to detect enemy snipers in combat environments.

Imagine if the observer is equipped with such a drone, it can minimize the probability of being sniped. It can even be equipped with a warhead for the drone.

It may be a bit nonsense to install a recoilless gun or a small-scale missile, but it is still completely feasible to use a piece of explosive that can be remotely controlled and detonated.

Even if you can't kill the enemy sniper and interfere with the opponent, it can also effectively reduce the probability of casualties of your own personnel. Using a drone to exchange for the lives of one or even several of your own comrades is worth it no matter how you calculate it.

Expand this idea and replace the explosives in the warhead with smoke explosion components, so that smoke can be accurately dropped when necessary to cover up the actions of our own personnel.

After Zhou Li and Li Ying came back, they immediately found Qu Sen. After reading his three design presets, both girls were very satisfied.

After the three of them got together and made some improvements and supplements, they added an expansion plan similar to the launch of tactical communication jamming instruments to the design. Zhou Li started writing the application form, and Professor Wu helped him to hand it directly to the school.

Although this prize-winning collection is aimed at students from various military universities, military drones are not simple remote control toys, and they cannot be made by students themselves.

Not to mention the production costs involved, a series of assembly parts is not something you can buy with money.

To transform ideas and ideas from graphic design into physical objects, financial support and coordinated endorsement from schools are indispensable.

Professor Wu is a very heavy doctoral supervisor on campus, and Qu Sen and the three-person competition plan are practical. After contacting the organizer, the school leaders confirmed the qualifications for the three-person design plan and directly brought this matter to the weekly meeting.

After the meeting was approved, while the three people's willingness to participate was approved, they also received a special design fund of 100,000 yuan from the school, a laboratory operation room, and several equipment and instrument support.

One hundred thousand yuan sounds like a lot of money. Not to mention buying ordinary remote control toys, even if you buy Zhou Li’s toy drone, you can buy more than a dozen or twenty.

The things you can buy are all mass-produced products, but what Qu Sen and the other two have to do is entries from scratch.

Not to mention anything else, just talking about how they designed the drone shell and then used it to open the mold, it would probably cost tens of thousands of yuan to buy various induction components and main control chips used inside the drone.

By this calculation, the 100,000 yuan approved by the school is enough to start a project, and even the shells of the three drones in the preliminary plan are difficult to build.
