The cooperation between Wang Jianguo and Brother Niu is naturally not that fast, but the orderly process steps are still very comfortable to see. This is the result of professional standardization.

The reason why performance cars can be called "performance" is that the engine plays a crucial factor. Many people in the Internet like to talk about which car is so awesome to control and how high the cornering limit is. As a result, when you look at the horsepower of more than a hundred horses, you don't know how the word control is obtained.

For the racing industry, all control is based on power. Without meeting the basic conditions of the power system, other modifications are nonsense.

According to Japan's Arimiya modification plan, the first thing is to do is to operate the power system. After all, Mazda's largest 230P horsepower can no longer meet the power needs of this era.

Because the mechanical principles of rotor engines and piston engines are different, there is no saying that pistons, connecting rods, wheel axles, valves and other components are included. Therefore, there is naturally no way to forge reinforced pistons and custom connecting rods to squeeze the potential of engines.

Famous engine models such as Toyota Supra's 2JZ, Mitsubishi EVO's 4G63, GTR's RB26DETT, etc. are actually limited by Japan's "gentleman agreement" in the 1990s, and their appearance power is maintained at 280P.

However, these engines can also be like changing the rally car and leaving only a frame, just keeping a cylinder block, and all the others are replaced with customized parts and then squeezing out thousands of terrifying horsepower.

However, the rotor engine cannot do this because its engine structure only has three moving parts, namely two rotors and one output shaft, and there are not so many parts modifications.

Moreover, the work mode of the rotor engine can actually be simply regarded as a triangular rotor, which rotates around and "hardly grinds" in the engine cylinder block. Once the metal structure is changed, it may significantly increase the wear of the cylinder block or the rotor itself, thereby damaging the engine.

You should know that the lifespan of a general piston engine is not a big problem if it is well maintained by one million kilometers. The average lifespan of a rotor engine is 30,000 kilometers. Even if it is a father, the longest record is only 60,000 kilometers.

Without absolute professionalism and technology, changing the rotor structure itself is simply preparing to wait for the engine to change every day. Even Mazda itself failed to understand the rotor engine and slowly disappeared into the long river of history.

Therefore, this power modification mainly starts from the turbine intake. By replacing the HKS mushroom head intake system and expanding the intake and exhaust port, the intake and exhaust efficiency can be improved, thereby improving the combustion thermal efficiency in disguise and increasing the horsepower.

Currently, the original horsepower is 230P, and Lin Xiangbei's goal is to change it to about 350P horsepower, which almost reaches the mainstream power level of high-end performance cars in the current era. In terms of Lin Xiangbei's driving skills, at least the power system of Mazda RX7 will no longer be the shortcoming that will be severely dragged.

After the power, the suspension system is the chassis that ordinary family cars often call. Most people’s understanding of the chassis is that the car cannot dissipate when driving and does it roll when turning.

However, for performance cars, the chassis will determine the speed and limit of cornering. Compared with the power system, it can be displayed simply and clearly with data. Chassis adjustment is more like a kind of "metaphysics", which requires the experience and skills of the technician.

The choice of the crimping shock absorber is Subaru's royal brand CUSCO, a Japanese company with more than 30 years of modification experience and has won numerous rally honors in collaboration with Subaru Racing.

Wang Jianguo is the chief technician of Volkswagen 222 team. As the strongest rally team in China, these modification brands are familiar to him. In addition, there are also the adjustment parameters provided by the Yumiya modification plan, which are all the experience of the Yumiya modification factory in Japan's larger GT events all year round.

Therefore, the seemingly complex chassis tuning is actually not a problem for Lin Xiangbei's current "team".

The last one is the brake system. After all, you can run fast and you can brake. This time I chose the six-piston caliper of the Japanese modified giant T-DEMAND, and the brake disc has also been replaced with a marking and punching disc to ensure rapid heat dissipation in high-strength braking environment.

Other wheel hubs and tires are essential modifications, and there is basically nothing to say. The point worth mentioning is that the original American version of RX7 is equipped with an open differential lock, and if you want to drift, it depends more on inertia.

The old alcoholic is wondering if he wants to reminisce about the drifting feeling of rallying, but he actually prepared a set of customized limited-slip differential locks, which are the final shortcomings of the RX7 running and drifting.
