Chapter 56 The Full Moon

The thirteenth day of the first lunar month is the day when Yan Rong's son's full moon. The Jingbian Marquis' Mansion has a full moon banquet for him. Except for the Grand Tutor Yan, the Old Lady Yan and the Wang family who want to raise their babies, all the others of the Yan Mansion went to congratulate him. The Marquis' Marquis' Marquis' Marquis' wanted to do it in a big way, but this is her eldest grandson, and the inheritance of the Marquis' Mansion is no longer a problem. However, the Marquis of Jingbian said that in order not to give the boy a blessing, it would be done in a proper way.

However, even so, dozens of tables were placed in the front and back yards; Jingbian Hou Mansion was the leader of the six marquises and was inherited from generation to generation. The other five marquises were: Weiyuan Hou Mansion, Zhenbei Hou Mansion, Baoqing Hou Mansion, Xiangzhong Hou Mansion and Guangchang Hou Mansion.

The six marquis' mansions have relatives and have always had good relationships. There are happy events in the Jingbian marquis' mansion, and the other five marquis' mansions are all heirs of titles and mistresses. There are also people from the six monarchs' mansions, four uncles' mansions and Huaien Duke's mansions. Chengen Duke's mansions only sent people to send generous gifts because they were during the filial period.

As soon as the people from the Yan Mansion arrived at the Jingbian Marquis' Mansion, they went to see Yan Rong and the child. Mrs. Yan looked at the little baby in the cradle, "I'm still sleeping. This kid looks exactly the same as you did when you were a child."

Yan Rong smiled and said, "The Marquis said he was like him, and the Prince said he was like him."

"No matter who you look like, your grandson must be a handsome boy." Princess Nanping smiled.

"Mom, why didn't my sister-in-law come?" Yan Rong asked.

"Your sister-in-law is happy." Mrs. Yan smiled.

Yan Rong said to Mrs. Yan happily: "It's great, then I'll bring a few Zichen's little clothes to see my sister-in-law in a few days."

"Is Zichen the name of this child?" asked Mrs. Yan.

"Yeah, yes." Yan Rong nodded.

"Zou Zichen, this name is good. Who chose it?" Mrs. Yan asked with a smile.

"It was taken by the Marquis." Yan Rong said with a smile.

Yan Qi, who was lying on the cradle, shouted, "He opened his eyes, he opened his eyes."

"His eyes are so bright, like black pearls." Yan Huo said, touching his white and tender face.

"Big sister, what's his name?" Yan Qi asked loudly.

Yan Rong smiled and said, "His name is Zichen."

"Zi Chen, Zi Chen, I am your Thirteenth Aunt. Call Aunt Thirteenth Aunt Thirteenth, I will give you Tangtang." Yan Qi took out a milk candy from his purse and said.

"Zi Chen is still a baby. He can't eat candy, and he won't call you Aunt Thirteen." Yan Huo hung a string of jade peanuts the size of a thumb on Xiao Zichen's cradle. "This is given to you by Aunt Thirteen. You must remember Aunt Thirteen. You must protect Aunt Thirteen when you grow up."

"When can he eat candy? Call me Aunt Thirteen?" Yan Qi asked.

Yan Huo thought for a while, turned around and called Yan Rong, "Big Sister." She is a child, and she doesn't understand this question.

Yan Rong smiled and said, "When Zichen turns one year old, you can eat candy and call you aunt."

"How long did that last?" Yan Qi asked in confusion.

"I'll do it next time I celebrate the Chinese New Year." Yan Rong smiled.

Yan Zi nodded in a slight understanding. Mrs. Yan stepped forward and picked up the little boy Chen, "Okay, we should go out."

The little boy was wrapped in a blue woven swaddle rag, and was held by the wet nurse, asking the guests to look at each other. The guests looked at the child, laughed and praised a few times, and gave gifts. The plates held by the maid were filled with. After walking around the backyard, the wet nurse carried the little boy to the front yard again.

When the Marquis of Jingbian saw Changsun, he couldn't stop smiling, "Give me Zichen a quick way."

The wet nurse carefully handed the baby to Marquis Jingbian. The guests came over to see it and praised the baby who had just been full of the month to make it seem like nothing on the earth. Marquis Jingbian was happy to hear it, but Xiao Zichen started crying by the smell of wine on the table.

"Mr. Marquis, the young master is afraid he is hungry." The wet nurse stepped forward and said.

Only then did the Marquis Jingbian reluctantly ask her to carry her grandson down.

After eating wine in the Marquis' Mansion in Jingbian, he left until he was almost You. After going to Chunhui Hall to meet Mrs. Yan, they went back to the yard to rest.

On the 15th day of the first lunar month, the Lantern Festival will be held in Beijing from the tenth to the sixteenth day of the first lunar month. The emperor will also take a small car to lead concubines and palace servants to Xuande Gate, admire Aoshan, and have fun with the people on the second day of the Lantern Festival.

In the early morning, Yan Huo was lying on the kang and peeling oranges to eat. The mother of Duke An Guo’s mansion came, carrying the lantern given to her by Fu Zhixing in her hand. When the woman entered the door, she saluted Yan Huo, "I wish you a happy new year to the lady, and I have a great blessing."

"Madam Wanfu, please don't be too polite. Please get up and sit down and talk." Yan Huo took an orange from the kang table and handed it to her, "Madam, eat orange."

"Miss Xie's reward." The woman put the lantern on the table, took the orange with both hands, took two steps back, and sat down on the round pier.

Yan Hu asked, "Is there anything wrong with the nanny here?"

"Young Master asked the old slave to send this lamp to the lady to give it to you." The old lady smiled.

It was a lantern, but it was not a horse, but a bird. Perhaps it was more appropriate to say that it was a flying bird lamp. Yan Huo held the lantern and pulled it with his hand. The lantern turned around, and the bird spread its wings and was about to fly. "What an interesting lantern."

Seeing that Yan Hu liked him, the smile on the mother's face became a little deeper. Licorice reminded Yan Hu, "Miss, do you want to send any gifts to Mr. Fu?"

"Return the gift?" Yan Huo's eyes turned and saw the oranges on the table. "Well, licorice, go get scissors, needles, fish silk threads, candles and small wooden sticks."

"What do you want these to do for Miss?" Licorice asked in confusion.

"Give it a gift to cousin Fu." Yan Huo smiled.

Licorice went to get what Yanhu wanted, and Yanhu said to the mother, "I'm sorry, I'll wait for a while."

"Okay, Miss, don't worry." The old lady replied with a smile.

After a while, licorice brought the things, Yanhu started to make small orange lamps, cut the middle of the orange, dig out the flesh with a spoon, make half of the peel into the shape of stars, and insert small silver beads around it; put a small candle in the other half of the orange peel, connect the star orange peel and the half orange peel with thread, tie six threads to the wooden stick.

"Madam, this lamp must be delivered to cousin Fu." Yan Huo reminded him worriedly.

"Don't worry, Miss." The old lady replied with a smile.
