Chapter 8 [Fake Su Xin Jianlan]

The next day, as soon as I opened my eyes, I got up from the sticky mat and looked at my watch. It was already eleven o'clock.

I took the basin and toothbrush out of the house. I found that there was one more person in the yard, a rural old lady under 60 years old. She was sweeping the coal dust at the entrance of the east house with a broom. My mother also rested today. The account of the Ming and Qing dynasties made my mother more energetic these days. She shook a few wet clothes in the basin and hung it on the wool rope built by the Chinese toon tree branch. Seeing me come out, she introduced: "Your name is Grandma Zou. Your Aunt Liu rented the house Xiao Zou, and we will be neighbors in the future."

Moving in so soon?

The courtyard where my family is located is not very big, with a square structure. The two rooms in the north house are mine and my parents, and the two rooms in the west house are rented to a couple from Wenzhou. They sell shoes and some of their assets only treat this place as a warehouse. Usually, they rarely come back. On the east side, one is my kitchen and the other is from my old neighbor Aunt Liu. However, Aunt Liu's son took her over and lived in when she got married, and the house was empty.

The track of history gradually shifted. Originally, the middle-aged couple who lived in Aunt Liu's house should have been a convenience store.

I politely said, "Hello Grandma Zou, okay, Aunt Zou has moved here too? I made an appointment with her to go to Bird Market in the afternoon."

"She is in there to regulate the house, I'll call her for you." Grandma Zou shouted twice at the east room.

My mother asked me in confusion what I was doing at Bird Market. I told her about Aunt Zou’s gift, but she didn’t tell her that I wanted to sell crickets.

Zou Yue'e walked out of the house with a very elegant appearance. She was wearing a white silk suspender shirt on her upper body and a low-waisted hot pants and high-heeled sandals on her lower body. Under the scorching sun, her two white legs were shining with a strange light. My heart heated up, and I turned my gaze a little, trying not to look at her.

My mother frowned, but soon changed into a smile and talked and laughed with Grandma Zou and Zou Yue'e.

After washing up with the faucet in the center of the yard, I and Aunt Zou agreed on the time to go to Bird Market, and turned to look at my mother: "Mom, where are the cricket jars from my junior high school?"

"It's all piled up in the box, you're tumbling, I forgot." She pointed to the simple cottage next to the south: "It's just right, just help my mother do some work, brush the bath bucket of your Aunt Liu's South House, and wait for the evening to let you and Aunt Zou and your two bathe."

Zou Yue'e hurriedly stopped me: "Sister Cui, don't bother Xiaojing anymore, I'll go and clean it later."

Grandma Zou also said: "Yes, Xiao Cui, don't let your son work."

"You are both colleagues and neighbors, so don't be polite to me." My mother said to me: "You might as well go."

I said goodbye, picked up a brush from the corners and walked into the southernmost room.

In the past, our family had a very good relationship with Aunt Liu, and we paid for the money to build this house. Although it was not included in the property area, many houses were always more comfortable. We put things that our two families could not put into it and could also be used as a place for bathing and washing clothes, which was very convenient.

After brushing Aunt Liu’s wooden bathtub, I also cleaned the bathtub on the other side of the screen in my house.

Then, I leaned over and opened a few large pine boxes full of dust and found a few cricket jars. It is said that good horses are paired with saddles. If I want to sell my big head crickets for a good price, I always have to pack them. I picked a good jar made of slurry and rinsed them clean, and carefully put the crickets in the plastic bottle into the jar.

Then, I found a cricket spy made of mouse beard from an empty chess box at the bottom of the box. I stroked the soil on my hair and gently used it to pluck the cricket's beard. Immediately, the black-headed coach rushed forward with his ink-yellow teeth, and flicked his wings and made a thick chirping, which was extremely majestic.

I couldn't help but shout ok, rub my hands, and I had more confidence in it.

After eating the three-fresh dumplings from yesterday, my mother and I heard about it, so we bought a taxi with Aunt Zou and ran to Zizhu Bridge.

But it is worth mentioning that before leaving, my mother glared at me inexplicably, which made me very puzzled.

Guanyuan Bird City moved a new home, and we and the driver didn't recognize the road, so we parked the car on the side of the road.

I asked an uncle who sold newspapers for the exact address, and we kept heading west and climbed the overpass.

"Xiao Jing, I'm going to the customer at around 7 o'clock in the evening. What do you think is the right gift?" Zou Yue'e stroked the hair on her temples behind her ears and smiled distressedly: "It's best to have a price of around 2,000 yuan, and it's also tasteful and connotative. Alas, this customer is very important to our company, you have to help me."

I was thinking while walking while holding the cricket jar. When my eyes swept across the sides, I suddenly lit up and pointed to several stalls on the overpass across the street: "How about orchids?"

"Orchid?" Zou Yue'e brows relaxed and agreed: "Okay, orchids are good, and the taste is complete, and they are not like antiques. She is always worried about buying fakes. Yes, you still have an idea."

Between the two stalls selling naked women's playing cards and selling little white rabbits, a middle-aged man was sitting on the ground. Under the large parasol, there were several pots of precious orchids of style. Because the flowering period had passed, there were only two pots of Jianlan, commonly known as the four-season orchid, were blooming, and the remaining pots could only be distinguished by the picture card standing in front of the pot. There were Dangshan Lotus, Crystal Plums, and Jade Rabbits. Good guys were all medium and high-end and expensive varieties.

Zou Yue'e walked over and squatted down first, "Hey, why are you Jianlan different from what I have seen?"

The middle-aged man smiled and said, "You mean there are no spots on your lips, right? This is the best, called Su Xin Jianlan."

Zou Yue'e's buttocks were so squatting that she didn't care. She turned a purple lace edge in front of me, and she wanted to remind Aunt Zou to expose her, but she couldn't say it. After thinking about it, I turned out that I saw a woman showing her underwear when riding a bicycle, which was very common. So I didn't say anything. Maybe people didn't care about this, maybe they did it deliberately.

I squatted over without looking at me. At this time, Zou Yue'e was already bargaining with him.

The Suxin Jianlan is indeed very beautiful, with wide and thick leaves, standing upright like a sword, and the petals are fatter and shaped like bamboo leaves.

As a salesman, Zou Yue'e's bargaining methods are emerging one after another. "Look, I've called you big brother. Are you really embarrassed to be petty with my sister for those few hundred dollars?"

"Oh, you are really good at selling prices. I'm convinced, I'm convinced, can't we make a deal?"

When Zou Yue'e smiled and took out her wallet, I recalled a news from the evening newspaper, "...wait."

"What?" Zou Yue'e didn't understand why.
