080. Ferry

As the saying goes, "There is no constant force in the military and the water has no constant shape." Therefore, during the long years, most rivers will be diverted, leaving branches, and thus the path.

The same is true for Minjiang.

The Minjiang River flows through Fuzhou City and was divided into two hundreds of years ago. The river water shifts southward and rushes out a new river channel.

However, the Minjiang River is located in southern Fujian after all, and the abundant water volume at the source is very different from the northern rivers, even if it has been diverted.

Because the water volume of the road has only decreased, it did not completely cut off the flow, but instead preserved the name "Minjiang". As for the new river channel, it is called Wulongjiang.

Feng Qingyang was really free and easy. After finishing the meal with Chen Chong, he tied up the broken bed cover and left with a bamboo basket on his back. He didn't know what he was anxious about.

After watching the old man Feng go north, Chen Chong did not delay. He put away the Ziwei soft sword, carried the piano case and embarked on the journey.

He probably remembered that from the dock of Shunfengtang, the river flowed to the northeast, so if he wanted to go to the Miao District Yedian, he had to go southwest.

Time is urgent, and Chen Chong didn't care about wasting his true energy and ran all the way to the southwest with his light skills.

As he walked, he asked, even though he had not been delayed by anything else, when he arrived at the Qingyukou Ferry, it was almost the end of Chen (9:00 in the morning).

The Qingyukou Ferry is very small. A few thick wooden pillars are erected by the river and a few wooden boards are laid on it, which makes a small wharf.

When Chen rushed to the dock, five people were waiting for the shore. These people were dressed as farmers, with short axes on their waists and holding poles in their hands. They looked like woodcutters who had gone into the city to sell firewood.

Seeing that the pier was empty, and I didn't know whether the shipkeeper had not yet started working or the ferry had gone to the opposite side of the river, Chen Chong felt a little anxious.

The life and death of Lin Zhennan couple is closely related to the profits of chivalrous values, so he can be said to be very concerned.

I didn't receive a system prompt for one day, and these two people were not completely safe for a day, and Chen Chong couldn't relax for a day.

He let out a long sigh, and subconsciously glanced at the people next to him. The woodcutters seemed to know each other well, gathered together to chat in dialects, and seemed not very anxious.

Seeing this, Chen Chong calmed down and looked at the river and continued to wait for the boat.

Although there is almost no farm work now, judging from the fact that these people can get up early to sell firewood, they most likely do not have the conditions to be idle.

Since they are not in a hurry, there should be no problem with the ferry and there is no need to worry about themselves.

After waiting for another cup of tea, there was still no movement on the river surface, and Chen Chong finally couldn't help it.

He walked towards the people talking and laughing, stopped three steps away from them, and asked, "Brothers, I've been disturbing. When will the ferry come?"

The few people chatting suddenly stopped talking and looked at an older man at the same time.

The man came out of the crowd, looked at the wooden box behind Chen Chong curiously, and replied with a smile: "This guy invited me. In the past, there were at least three or five sampans in the Qingyukou. However, today it was a bit unfortunate. Miao Manzi on the Qishan Mountain married his wife, and those boats were all going to see him off, so everyone was waiting here."

Do the Miao people get married?

Chen Chong was stunned when he heard this, and then he remembered this incident, which seemed to be a scene in the original plot-

The Miao people pretended to marry, in fact, to transfer the gold and silver obtained from selling private salt from Fuzhou City, while Ren Yingying pretended to be a bride.

"There is such a thing?"

Chen Chong pretended to sigh, and then asked, "Brother, how long has the ferry been gone? How long will it take to come back?"

The man shook his head and smiled bitterly, and said helplessly: "It's been more than half an hour. It's only three or four miles wide to talk more about the Wulong River. Even if the wedding receptionists have to play and beat them all the way, they walk slowly than usual, so it's logical that it's time to come back."

Chen Chong nodded subconsciously, and felt that what the man said made sense. It was less than two thousand meters in three or four miles, and it took no more than an hour to row the boat.

Another thin man suddenly complained: "It's really a bad luck. When I came, I met a soldier. When I went back, I met Miao Manzi again. If I had known that I would have looked at the yellow calendar..."

Chen Chong felt a little moved when he heard this and asked without saying a word: "Brother, what's the situation with the soldiers?"

The thin man looked at Chen Chong and saw that the leader was not stopped, he explained: "When we came here in the morning, we met a few soldiers in the forest and asked us to take them to Fuzhou City. Brother Hu agreed to be slower and was whipped by them.

We took them to the riverside, and the soldiers forced us to get the money, saying that there was no money to cross the river. We dared not to give it, so we could only take out all the money..."

Chen Chong frowned and said, "These soldiers robbed you because they had no money to cross the river. Could it be that they were sick?"

The man in the leader snorted coldly and sneered: "This is just the excuse they found. How could they spend money on the boat? Not only did they not pay for the money after taking the boat, they also said they had no money to eat, so they snatched the boatman."

Another person joined the discussion and said angrily: "Selling firewood can only make some hard money. Now he owes the boatman two ships, and this trip is a loss!"

Hearing these words, Chen Chong finally understood what it means to "bandits are like combs, and soldiers are like combs."

Black, is it really him black!

He cursed a few times and was about to ask about the Miao people's marriage, but suddenly one of them pointed at the river and shouted: "I'm back!"

Hearing this, he quickly looked at it and saw two small sampans slowly revealing their bodies on the river surface filled with mist. In just a dozen breaths, they had already arrived close.

The shipman is a dry and hunched old man. From his appearance, he is at least sixty or seventy years old.

He threw out the cable, and several people on the shore caught it with each other, tied the rope to the wooden pile of the dock. Three passengers on the boat paid to get ashore, and Chen Chong followed a few woodcutters on board.

The old shipman sat on the side without saying a word, wrapped in cigarettes in his hand, and his eyes stared straight at the river.

Chen Chong sat down with no image, looked at the boat and asked, "Old man, when will the boat be departed?"

The old man glanced at him and saw that it was a new face, so he took out a wooden board from behind, and saw the words "Ten people set off the boat, charter the boat, crossing the river, and halving the children."

Chen Chong counted and found that he had only six woodcutters added, so he decided to charter a boat: "Old man, there are still four left now. I will make up for the money for those four people, can I make up for it?"

The old shipman nodded, lit the pipe with a fire note, and slowly said, "Okay, okay, but I have to rest for a while, eat the cigarette before leaving."

"Okay, you can eat first, and we will leave when we have enough."

Chen Chong Xiaoxiao didn't continue to urge him. He had delayed his time for a long time, and he could still afford to wait for a bag of cigarettes.

However, he could wait, but some people could not wait.
