Chapter 1 Why Are You Not a Billionaire(1/6)

Chapter 1 Why are you not a billionaire

Why are you not a billionaire

Someone once said: "In this world, there are only two types of people, one is the poor and the other is the rich."

If you think about it carefully, this sentence actually makes sense.

In real life, no matter men, women, young and old, officials or masses, police, doctors, journalists, lawyers, engineers, stonemasons, carpenters... you can't escape the category of these two types of people. You are either rich or you can only be classified as poor and have no choice.

The rich live a wealthy life, they are noble, elegant, pampered, with a noble status, and they are all told; the poor live a poor life, they live a poor life, they are struggling, sloppy and vulgar, they are busy with life all day long, and are dominated by the rich.

Throughout history, human groups have maintained such a state of survival without much change, and there is probably no major change in the future.

The poor all want to live the life of the rich, but we see that the general situation is that the poor will still be poor for the rest of their lives. Why is this?

We can't help but ask the question: "Why are you not a billionaire?"

To answer this question, let's first look at such a famous experiment:

Psychologists once conducted an experiment: they put a flea in a glass cup, and the flea immediately jumped out easily.

Then repeat it a few times, and the result is still the same.

After testing, it turns out that the height of flea jumps can generally reach about 500 times that of its body.

Next, the experimenters put the flea in the cup again, but the difference this time was that they covered a glass plate on the mouth of the cup.

This time the fleas were still jumping up desperately, and with a "bang", the fleas hit the glass plate hard.

But it did not stop, but jumped tirelessly, because this was its usual escape method.

But after being hit again and again, the fleas began to become smarter and began to adjust the height of their jumps according to the height of the lid.

After a while, the experimenter found that the flea never hit the lid again, but instead jumped freely under the glass plate.

One day later, the experimenter gently removed the glass plate, but the fleas kept jumping at their original height.

Even after 3 days, nothing was found.

A week passed, and the poor flea still did not break through the mouth of the glass. In fact, it could no longer jump out of the glass.

Why can't fleas jump out of the glass?

The reason is that after the experimental conditions change, the flea's thinking formed an inertia. In its thinking, the bottle mouth has become an insurmountable obstacle, and it has sealed itself in the bottle.

This experiment gives us an important inspiration, that is, the poor's thinking has been imprisoned by the "glass plate" of poverty.

In his mind, the bottle mouth is insurmountable, and he can only jump around in the bottle of poverty.

Ayuo Iue, the founder of Japan's Sanyo Electric, has a successful career and a brilliant life.

One day, his gardener said to him: "Mr. President, I see your career getting bigger and bigger, but I am like a cicada on a tree, sitting on the trunk all my life, which is so boring.

You teach me some tips for starting a business?"

Izui nodded and said, "Okay! I think you are more suitable for gardening.

Let’s do this, there is 70,000 square meters of open space next to my factory. Let’s work together to plant saplings! How much can a sapling be bought?"

“400 yen.”

Izui said again: "Okay! Excluding the aisle, about 20,000 trees are planted in 20,000 square meters, and the cost of saplings is about 10 million yen.

How much does one tree cost in 3 years?”

“About 3    000 yen.”

"I will pay the cost and fertilizer fee of 10 million yen. In the next three years, you will be responsible for weeding and fertilization.

In 3 years, we can earn more than 60 million yen in profits.

Then we will be half each.”

Hearing this, the gardener hurriedly refused and said, "Wow?

I don't dare to do such a big business!"

In the end, he planted saplings at his home in the well planted house and received monthly salary. He never left the ranks of the poor...

Look, the gardener's thinking is typical of the poor.

He also wanted to get rich, but when he heard that it would involve so much money, he might consider the risks, the hard work in the future, the difficulties he would encounter, and consider... he gave up his actions and finally ended up with "I dare not do such a big business" and continued to live a monthly salary.

Faced with this situation, we can only say: How did you become a billionaire?

The attitude of the poor is: because everyone is poor, so I am the poor; because the environment makes me poor, I can't be able to stay poor; because my own strength is too small, so I don't have the ability to change.

When faced with their own situation, the poor never ask themselves: Did I think about it?

Did I do it?

Have I tried my best?

The success of many things cannot be achieved overnight. It requires one person to work hard and work hard, and persist and persist to achieve it.

However, the poor are not patient, they can make do with it.

The poor all have common characteristics, they can get used to everything and adapt to everything.

I only know how to do things, and don’t think about what I do means to me, and what results will be if I continue to do this.

Or you don’t think about anything or do nothing, just follow your habits in life and calculate wherever you go.

Many poor people know that their lives are hard, but they don’t know why.

Their lives are like this this year, next year, and for the rest of their lives, they will lie on a cold bed covered with straw and complain and curse their damn life, but they just don't want to change their lifestyle.

Among them, there are idle people, there are those who are not good at learning and ignorant, there are those who have broken pots and thrown into pieces, and there are those who have nothing to do with skin.

If you don’t have the opportunity, you won’t be able to seize the opportunity, but you will complain about this and that all day long.

Whether at home or in society, there are always so many people who are mediocre and waste their time, and there is nothing legitimate to do all day.

A poor life not only causes their bodies to be malnourished, but also makes their souls, eyes, will and thoughts even more poor.

...

This is the poor, a group of people living at the bottom of society who are busy making a living all day long.

Why do poor people suffer from poverty?

Some people have summarized the reasons in this way.

First, the poor do not have strong desire for wealth and strong action.

They say, lack of confidence or interest, “I will never become rich.”

"Money doesn't matter, it doesn't mean everything."

Second, the poor have backward financial concepts.

The arrival of the information age has turned the form of wealth from land in the farming era and real estate in the industrial era into today's knowledge, information, networks, and wealth that people with old ideas cannot see its shadow, let alone use new ideas to get rich.

Third, the poor pursue career security rather than financial security.

For example, seeing others getting rich in the sea, some people look and say, "I am very satisfied with my position."

Others said: "I'm not happy with my position, but I don't want to change or move now."

They stubbornly believe that their current position can bring him life security, and there are huge risks in going into the sea. It is better to work for others or the government than to work for themselves.

Fourth, poor people do not understand the benefits of building their own financial systems.

The rich let their assets work for them, they know how to control their spending and are committed to obtaining or accumulating assets; the necessary expenses they pay for doing business should be deducted from their income.

However, after studying various expenses, they concluded that as long as the time allows, personal expenses that need to be paid will be used for corporate business expenses that do not require taxation.

They maximize tax exemption in business.

We cannot say that the above reasons are not summarized well, but maybe it can be more concise.

"Why are you not a billionaire?"

There are only two reasons: one is poverty thinking; the other is not thinking about action.

Because of the poverty of thinking, the poor do not want to change, or change in ways, and always entertain themselves in poverty; because they do not want to act, they are highly jealous and have a low hand and just live a life of simultaneous life.

Only by finding the root of the problem can we talk about change.

Take a deep look at your heart and then discover that all the miracles are in yourself.

——Bacon

Is the poor only money?

What do poor people lack?

The most obvious answer is: money.

Lack of money has brought heavy suffering to the poor, making them wander at the bottom of society and become trampled on by others.

Money thus becomes the focus of the poor's life. Everything about the poor is just for money, and they ignore other precious things.

But is the only money that the poor lack?
