Extra Story Granger

As June comes, the heat emitted from the air can be felt even in the British Ministry of Magic built underground.

Hermione pretended that his bad mood during this period was caused by the approaching game. There was a lot of news about the floating island. Marfalda Pwight, editor-in-chief of the newspaper "Mystery Wall", which came out of Hogwarts, commented on the phenomenon: 'No matter when, you can see at least a guy riding a public broom and carrying a camera on the island. Needless to say, that's my lovely fellow traveler.'

Another journalist Rita Skit, who is accustomed to mocking, took advantage of the opportunity to report popular articles such as "the smuggling family with dirt, "the excellent naturalist, the bad fashion designer," put her attention on tourists who landed on the island. However, this time she almost sent herself to the news. When someone asked her the source of the news, she hinted that she bribed the island staff and got a list of celebrities in advance, including some members of the Order of the Phoenix, members of the Frontline Observatory and Utouna Club, as well as politicians, celebrities, piano poets, and tennis players ranked second in the world last year were on the list, but most importantly, the chain reaction caused by the "alternating rights behind the World Cup" was "panic." She said gloatingly.

Journalists from other countries are not inferior. This seems to confirm the point that Mafalda wants to express, "There are more journalists on the island than tourists." This is of course an exaggeration. Hermione, as a senior deputy minister, knows very well that she is approving her new application for landing on the island at this moment.

"There were 120 people who signed up this morning. If the information synchronized by the Muggle government was included, the number would be increased...two thousand. And this is only the number of one morning!" Hermione rubbed her forehead. "The door keys are not enough, and the number of people received by the fireplace every day is also limited, and it is necessary to ensure that the key moments are smooth... Haven't we transformed a passenger ship for the British government?"

"The Prime Minister wants the ship to be the car for the queen and accompanying officials." The person from the Magic Traffic Division replied.

Hermione opened her mouth, as if she wanted to mock her, but she didn't say anything.

"I can only provide twenty more temporary fireplaces, coordinates on the island 30 nautical miles from the floating island. If they agree, arrange the pick-up ships, otherwise they will find a way for themselves." She wrote her own opinion, attached the name at the end of the document, "Leave it to Kingsley." The office was quiet.

Hermione looked at the time, and the hand of the clock stopped at four o'clock. She looked through the documents at hand again, the new rules, the list of magic potions review, the private broom license, the opening date of the Wizard Town, the "Draft Anti-Space Smuggling Act"... After confirming that all of them were processed, she began to stare at the photos on her desk. They were taken by her and Felix on Mars. The two sat on reddish-brown rocks, with desolate sand dunes and gravels in the background; sandstorms in the distance were coming, and there was an oasis behind her; Valen jumped around with interest under the spell of the bubbly head...

A smile of memories appeared on her face, and her fingers accidentally rubbed the photo frame. The experiences of the past few years flashed by:

As the last Minister of Magic, Ms. Bones' assistant, although her starting point for entering the Ministry of Magic was very high, she was not surprised: the Minister of Magic could have many assistants. A special department, the Assistant Minister's Office, serves the Minister of Magic, with a number ranging from one to a dozen. These people usually act as staff and assistants. Of course, occasionally they will get into some guys who only get paid and don't do things.

But Hermione got full exercise here.

From initially being responsible for presenting information related to Muggle affairs to gradually getting in touch with specific affairs of the Pan-Magic Alliance, participating in and formulating liaison rules for various magic races, and contacting government personnel as deputy, her political talent was demonstrated. Three years later, Hermione applied to become an observer of the International Pan-Magic Alliance. In the following two years, she went deep into the world and wrote a series of observation reports that combine the local magic environment and an international perspective. These reports, together with the results of other observers, provided a meticulous and detailed analysis case for the Alliance headquarters.

For Hermione, her vision was further broadened.

When she returned to the British Ministry of Magic, she was only 24 years old, but her experience was far beyond her peers. After a harmonious atmosphere and was not even considered an interview, she became the assistant director of the minister's office. In theory, she could have given orders to Felix, who was still a staff member at that time (Felix has not yet understood the relationship between these positions, and no one dared to direct him).

If she followed the steps, she would most likely go further and further in the path of politics, be promoted all the way, and finally become the Minister of Magic. But her magical path would become narrower and narrower. In fact, unlike Harry's smooth path, she realized her own limits earlier. Although her abilities were far beyond ordinary wizards, only she realized that she might never be able to become a great wizard, and an invisible wall was blocking in front of her. I don't know how many outstanding wizards this wall trapped.

It was that trip to Mars that brought unexpected changes to Hermione, in her subsequent words:

"Every wizard's magic transformation cannot be separated from the huge impact of the soul. For me, it is the month I lived on Mars. I don't have to consider all the influence of reality, completely put aside all the constraints and concerns... Compared with the vast universe, I am so small, but when I try my best to light up a small starry sky, I can feel the shock and heroism from the bottom of my heart, as if my past cognition has been subverted."

After returning from Mars, she wrote more than a dozen papers exploring the essence of magic, mostly conjectures, but it was enough to prove that she had a new understanding of magic. Felix picked one out of it and suggested that she publish it publicly, which was later considered to be a perfect argument for the problem of "the adaptability of magic under extreme conditions".

In the office, Hermione said to herself: "That feeling is really wonderful."

"What's 'very strange'?" a voice interrupted. She looked up and caught Harry's weird face, and Hermione teased: "You performed the scene of Langsky's fake action in public at the wedding."

Harry coughed unnaturally. It was his first time to get married, and he was inevitably excited. In addition, he and Ginny took a swearing under the sky. After the oath was over, Fred and George shouted out the momentum of the game. A large number of lively guests were flying brooms and diving downwards. He couldn't help himself...

"By the way, why are you here?" Hermione intentionally changed the subject. "I thought you would be so busy that you didn't have time to come out lately."

"Absolutely," Harry muttered, "I have missed at least three family gatherings. Little Albus has objections to me. There are too many things to deal with. It is a city of millions, bringing together most countries and forces around the world, and the relationship is complicated... To be honest, I can't handle it."

"Maybe you can refer to Felix's approach?" Hermione suggested.

"Good idea," said Harry: "Splitting the matter to others, occasionally showing up to solve a problem or two, and then driving away all the guys who caused the trouble... I thought it seriously, this style is not suitable for me."

Hermione raised her eyebrows.

"Are you here to find comfort or complain?"

"None aren't," Harry said seriously, "It's because of another thing."

Hermione looked at him through the table.

"Ministry searched a time converter from Nott's house, right?"

"How are you-"

"Tell me first," said Harry.

Hermione thought for a while. "Yes, the ministry has been planning to recycle time converters that have been lost for centuries, whether damaged or not; this has started when Ms. Bones was in office more than a decade ago. Because... well, you know the specific reason."

"Oh, I understand..." Harry said slowly. One of the two people in this conversation happened to have experienced time travel, and the time traveled far exceeded the allowed scope of the Ministry of Magic, which indirectly led to the breaking of the Ministry of Magic's Mysterious Affairs Department, and someone stole a large amount of time energy and hourglass of time converters; the two knew who this person was.

"Ms. Borns believes it is necessary to conceal the existence of the time converter, especially during the special period when the magic world is opening up," Hermione explained to him. "It was Principal Dumbledore who applied to the Ministry of Magic. Now that this policy has ended with his departure, the time converter will not appear in the school and the public eye. Kingsley and I agree with this approach."

Harry pondered Dumbledore's attitude towards the time converter, the silverware placed on the long-legged table all year round, and then he took out a small golden timer from his pocket and placed it on the table.

Hermione's eyes widened, then the surprised expression on her face gradually disappeared and she became thoughtful.

"It can't be yours," she said.

"It's from the Malfoy family," Harry said frankly: "Draco originally wanted to hand it over to Professor Hepp, but was not sure about his idea, so he defeated it and entrusted me to send it to you. He said, uh," Harry scratched his head, "Astoria is getting better and can fully participate in the opening ceremony of the World Cup."

"This is good news." Hermione smiled.
