Chapter 610 Dinner(1/2)

There was a knock on the door outside Harry's small bedroom.

"Harry - come out for dinner-" Aunt Penny said dryly. If it weren't for the ragged strips stuffed into Harry's ears that made the sound a little distorted, he would have heard that the unnatural in her tone, and that it would be much more polite and polite than usual.

"I know." Harry muttered, biting his quill and staring at the sloppy handwriting on the parchment. Finally, he frowned and crossed out the word "courage" and changed it to "firm, unshakable belief". After reading it carefully, he felt that it was much smoother.

It is better to give a few more examples. Harry thought, this will make people easier to understand.

"Harry—" the voice became obviously impatient.

"Here you come!"

Harry jumped out of the chair, took off the strip of cloth from his ears, then put the parchment together, pressed under the Magic Quidditch Ball, and opened the door.

Outside the door was Aunt Penny's slender horse face, her slender eyebrows were piled tightly together, and they twisted into a lump between them.

Harry was stunned.

Aunt Penny has never had a good face to him. He was used to it. What surprised him was another thing. She was standing at the door of the bedroom today, and it seemed that she was waiting there specifically, which made him completely unpredictable. After a few seconds, he realized how indecent his movements were - he stretched, yawned halfway, rubbed his dry eyes with his right hand, his glasses were pushed to his forehead, and his whole body was unnaturally twisted...

Aunt Penny's lips were pursed tightly and she forced a smile.

"A guest is here at home."

"I want me to pretend I'm not at home?" Harry asked muffled, thinking that maybe I could flip out the window and find something to eat at Sirius.

"It's someone you know!" she said in a low voice, her hands tugging together, and her joints turned white.

Harry was surprised. He was about to refute, how could this be possible? But there was indeed a vague voice of chatting downstairs. Who could it be? He randomly guessed that it could be Mr. Basharat, right? He had the interview successful?

Harry raised his foot and ran downstairs—Aunt Penny behind him stretched out his hand in despair, his lips squirming with his lips: hair... But Harry was gone, and the sound downstairs became clearer and clearer, one of them was Uncle Feinon and the other-

"Growning Drilling Company? Yes, I know... I have worked in Neil and haven't been there for a long time. I'm just a little supervisor... Ah, are you also supervisor? What a coincidence..."

"Professor Happ!?" Harry shouted incredibly.

He rubbed his eyes hard, suspecting that he was dreaming. Professor Happ, Uncle Fennon and Dudley sat at the dining table and had a great chat. From Harry's perspective, as long as Uncle Fennon is not furious and Dudley does not shrink into the corner closest to him, the atmosphere is even more harmonious.

"Oh, Harry?" Felix looked over and couldn't help laughing, "Your hair--"

Harry touched the top of his head, and just based on his feel, he knew that the thing must be messy, because he had no intention of taking care of it recently. Now that the professor saw this sloppy look, he felt a little embarrassed and tried to sort it out with embarrassment.

“I have a comb here, if you need it—”

"Yes!" Harry shouted, and he walked over and sat next to Professor Happ, staring at him taking out a comb from his delicate top pocket. Harry was stunned. Is the professor still carrying such things with him? But when he noticed that the professor was handing the comb with his left hand, he grinned.

This kind of secret is not something that can be told by outsiders.

So Uncle Fennon and Dudley could only open their same little eyes and stare at the emerald ring and comb in Felix's hand.

Aunt Penny shuffled, because there was one more person than usual - and Harry probably didn't have the courage to sit with Professor Hepp, so she could only squeeze between her husband and son, looking like a layer of spinach between two thick slices of bread.

Dinner is not full.

They were all simple foods, especially compared to the finely crafted glass wine bottles that obviously shouldn't appear on the dining table, which made them even more shabby. Harry actually saw a hint of embarrassment on Aunt Penny's face, and he was secretly amazed in his heart, and he really couldn't think of what magic the professor had cast.

"The food doesn't seem to be enough, if you don't mind, I can cast a spell-"

"No!" Aunt Penny screamed excitedly, Uncle Feinnon's thick neck suddenly swelled. Harry knew that the professor's words were against the Dursley family's taboo. They did not want to hear any words related to magic, so he was very surprised that the professor was calm and had a faint smile on his face.

"Really? But I think he is looking forward to it." Felix said.

Harry immediately turned his head to look at his cousin Dudley, and saw a strong desire in his eyes. So he knew the reason. Professor Happ would never let go of such a bright hint - who is the master of this family? Harry got tired of seeing it since he was a child, and there were examples that had just been staged in the past few days: Aunt Penny cried and wiped tears, and persuaded him earnestly, but in the end, the "controversy over staying or leaving a comic book" ended in failure.

He was just surprised that the professor had discovered the truth in such a short time.

Felix snapped his fingers gently.

A row of shiny golden plates fell from the sky. Sausages, food, pies, steaks, smoked fish, salads, pumpkin juice, orange juice... filled the dining table. Harry was never stranger to these foods, and in his opinion, the professor seemed to have moved the Hogwarts kitchen over.

Aunt Penny's eyebrows were tighter, and she leaned back with all her might, as if she was about to escape from the chair. After the failure, she shook her head left and right, fearing that a neighbor would lie on the window to see this scene. Uncle Feinong was breathing heavily, and her face turned purple with her naked eyes.

Dudley glanced in a fright, then thrilled to try.

To be honest, this scene is quite impactful. If it weren't for common sense, Harry probably wouldn't be calm. But he is very hungry now, and being able to eat school food during the summer vacation is a novel experience. He happily inserted a chicken leg with a fork.

"Uh, can I have a meal?" Harry asked afterwards.

"I am a guest," Felix said implicitly, his eyes sliding over Fennon and Penny, and finally fell on Dudley. "The guest will follow the host... I am very familiar with both sides, and these things should be your taste. Harry eats these things at school." He added, "Unless you are losing weight."

Gudong.

Dudley swallowed. The power of this sentence is huge, Harry thought. Since Dudley sent a warning letter by his school doctor for obesity during the summer vacation of the third grade, he has been trying to resist the recipes at home for two years.

"Daly—" Aunt Penny said sternly.

Dudley stared at her with his little eyes, and climbed up to the dining table with one hand. Feinn coughed violently, his beard trembled, and the pig's trotter-like hand stopped hesitantly. After waiting for a few seconds, it began to move again, persistently pushing away the vegetarian salad they were originally going to eat, silently expressing the protest from the owner of the hand.

Uncle Feinon sighed heavily and picked up the fork, "Okay, you won, start eating." As he said, he inserted a chicken leg - Harry had already started chewing it on a big bite of meat with vicious bite.

Dudley inserted a whole piece of steak with lightning speed, and bit it down with juice splashed everywhere.

Aunt Penny seemed to have made up her mind to stop eating. She sat in the chair, holding her hands in her chest, staring at the air in the middle of the dining table. Even Harry could feel her determination, and he turned his head to Professor Happ, who seemed to have not seen it, was scooping mushroom soup with a spoon.

By the time he was halfway through, Dudley had completely abandoned his concerns. He ate more meat tonight than this week, and was full of oil. He seemed to have forgotten his fear and stood up bravely to reach the smoked fish placed in front of Felix.

"Is it delicious?" Felix asked suddenly.

Dudley, who bent over, was stunned for a moment, raised his head and muttered, "It's delicious."

"Then why not pick up some for your mom?"

Dudley's fat arm was hanging in the air, and his face was staring at Felix blankly. It seemed that Felix had just talked about a very powerful riddle. From Dudley's face, it seemed that he could clearly feel that he was carrying out a series of complex psychological activities. After a moment of struggle, he placed a smoked fish in Penny's clean empty plate.

Before he could aim at the second smoked fish, his mother started crying.

"Really, really good, Dada..." Her thin arms hugged Dudley tightly, "How cute, child, child..."

Felix and Harry exchanged glances silently, and were reserved for this.

But Penny no longer refuses to eat.

Harry was amazed at Professor Happ's behavior, and he seemed to have discovered the trick: as long as he masters his cousin's emotions, the professor will be invincible. Now it seems that Dudley does not reject Professor Happ, or, in other words, is not afraid...

That comic book set played a crucial role.

After drinking and eating, Felix snapped his fingers again, and this time it was a dessert. No need to ask, Dudley was the first to pounce on it. When everything was over, Felix waved his hand and everything disappeared.

"Tell me," Feinong sat down on the sofa with his teeth, and said in a tough tone: "What are your conspiracies?"

"Conspiracy?" Felix asked with some amusedness.

The room suddenly became quiet, as if everyone realized that the visit would not end in a harmonious atmosphere. Harry pricked up his ears, Dudley held a piece of cauldron cake, and even Aunt Penny, who pretended to be busy in the kitchen, clanging the bottles and jars, stood at the door at some point.

"That's right," Fei Nong said sternly: "I've calculated when I'm having a meal. Don't think I'm easy to fool or feel soft-hearted because of a meal... I tell you, it's impossible! But you're smarter than the stupid guy I've ever seen-"

"Hagin is not a big fool!" Harry was angry.

Uncle Feinong narrowed his eyes.

"Ah, I get it, you want to talk to me about serious topics," Felix said.

"You're right!" Feinon quickly turned his head and said to the air: "You have been at Neil Company, which is a big company... But look, I'm not bad either. I'm an excellent sales manager. I've seen any kind of person... If someone plots my property or a house..."

"Are you crazy?" Harry shouted. "I'm greedy for your house?"

"I'm not crazy, but I'm very awake." Feinnon's eyes flashed with a shrewd light, and he gritted his teeth and said, "There are signs long ago, right? That guy named Voldemort, he's been caught. Boy, you have no reason to stay here..."

"Fennon." Aunt Penny shouted at the kitchen door.

"Listen to me! That Voldemort was caught...we are safe, but this kid still refuses to leave. Penny, think about it carefully, why is this?"

"I want to know why, too!" Harry shouted.

Felix cleared his throat.

"It seems that there is very little communication between you. As long as you have a little understanding of the magic world, you will understand that this worry is completely unnecessary and just a delusion."

"Disillusion?" Feinong stared at her eyes.

"Yes," Felix nodded, raised his legs and waved his hand, and a cup of steaming tea appeared in his palm. "My plan did not include answering questions, but now I can take it out for a few minutes because it is easy to explain."

Fennon showed off his energy to negotiate, staring at Felix's face with his small eyes. Penny was the same.

"First of all, this house," he looked around with interest, "by Albus Dumbledore, the principal of Hogwarts - do you know who he is?" His eyes fell on Penny, and her expression was stiff. "That's simple. As a powerful wizard, he arranged a profound protective magic around him, with family blood as a bond, and its function was not only to protect Harry, who was still underage, but also to protect you from harm."

"The magic effect will last until Harry's adulthood, during which time Harry must stay here for a while every year, not for a few weeks."

"Now Voldemort has been caught, and his gangsters have almost wiped out all of them. The reason why Harry is still here, well-I can only guess, because I am not the one who makes the decision: it may be because Voldemort is not dead yet, and it is better not to let the magic fail for caution."

"Can he escape?" Fei Nong said disgustedly, "Put it on our side--"

"There are many people who escape from prison," Felix nodded and added. Feinn's face turned red.

"Witches and Muggles - that is, ordinary people, are in some ways connected, such as emotions; but a few different places - especially those related to magic, may be very different. For example, in the topic we are talking about, Voldemort is a rather terrible black wizard."

"He is different from the armed bandits you think, it is more dangerous and much more dangerous... For example, give him time, he can easily destroy London."

The Dursleys trembled.

"You, don't think about it-"

"No matter how strange you are, it is true. Decades ago, he planned to occupy the Ministry of Magic and extend his tentacles to the world of ordinary people. He and his men enjoy torture ordinary people. Many of the headless cases you know in reality are what they do."

"Harry's parents stood up to resist Voldemort at that time. I don't know if they told you--but they did something just. After that... some people died on both sides, and Voldemort was unstoppable until he found the Potters--"
