Chapter Five Hundred and Twenty Two The Old Wand and the New Wand

It seems that they have thought of going together—mainly Minerva and Severus—and want to make some of their summer homework while they are noon. As for Felix, he is much freer than the other two.

But he still sat in the armchair and read a stack of papers with his arms around.

For a moment, the teacher's lounge was quiet, with only the sound of correcting the paper. The three professors' correction methods were different: Professor McGonagall was the most rigorous and serious, and the quail's "rustling" sound almost stopped, just like the sound of drizzling brushing through the blades of grass; Snape was the opposite, he had no movement for a long time, and then he suddenly used a lot of effort to draw heavily on the parchment paper. After listening for a while, Felix could roughly judge the level of this student and how Severus was feeling...

Felix wrote a series of pages at the end of the paper to express what students need to re-understand. After half an hour, he stood up from the chair, straightened his body, and prepared to go out for some breath. Snape, who had not spoken, raised his head, stared at Felix's back, and left the teacher's lounge.

Felix appeared in the courtyard, drizzling outside, and stood beside a tall pillar. From the height of the castle, a wide eaves cast a large shadow and covered a small bush.

Felix squinted his eyes and stared at the blurry scene in the distance, a student was jumping in the rain like a rabbit.

Magic is really magical and convenient. He can't remember how many times this thought flashed through.

Snape stood beside him at some point, and there were other students in the yard to breathe, but whenever they approached, they would be glared back with fierce eyes, so the following conversation went smoothly. The two of them figured out the atmosphere and spoke almost at the same time.

"I heard you got a new wand," Snape said.

"I heard you recently found a part-time job." This is what Felix said.

Snape's face froze, and he whispered softly: "Our principal really trusts you... Then you have to be careful, which usually means that he has a new arrangement for you."

"Are you saying he intends to reuse me?" Felix asked, and he found something quite interesting. In the eyes of different people, Dumbledore's image may be completely different. What about himself? How many faces do he have in other people's hearts?

"Reuse..." Snape repeated playfully, "If you don't mind being a chess piece, every move is firmly controlled by people... it's right."

"It's so scary~ He won't have the blood of a prophet, right? But I remember he himself doesn't believe in prophecy." Felix said exaggeratedly.

Snape glanced at him, "Our principal is a very skilled chess player. He will analyze you thoroughly before the conversation begins. This will make you think that everything you do is chosen by yourself, but it just happens to be what he hopes for."

Felix felt familiar, and he seemed to do the same, just as he did - be as prepared as possible before the negotiations and not give the other party a chance to refuse. So these words sounded like Snape was accusing him.

"All complain, Severus."

"It's just a feeling." Snape said calmly, "Then, your new wand is the name of 'Old Wand'?" Although it was a bit difficult to pronounce, Felix still understood.

"That's right." He replied briefly.

"Is it Ollivander's work?" Snape asked.

"Yes, the skills are quite exquisite."

"But some people don't think so," Snape said softly.

Felix's eyes rolled, "Is it your part-time home? Don't you think he's too busy with his control—"

"Some people think," Snape raised his voice, staring at the layers of rain, "this wand has existed for a long time and has been kept by the Ollivander family, and has only recently found the master."

Felix was a little surprised, "This is strange." Did Voldemort misunderstand something? Felix used his brain, and Voldemort's previous scene of retreating without fighting flashed in front of him, something he misunderstood...

"Old wand?"

Snape fell silent. Felix thought, saying so, Lucius told Voldemort about what happened in the wand shop? He carefully recalled the conversation with Mr. Ollivander, and he was sure that his words were full of jokes about fairy tales.

But who knows what Voldemort thinks, his mind is not normal...

"In history, there are indeed various legends of powerful wands, old wands, death wands, and destiny wands... The rumors about old wands are the most exaggerated, and their circulation is the most bloody and cruel... Of course, not many people believe in them, and those who know them all regard them as stories... But you cannot conclude from this that these powerful wands really never existed." Snape said in a low voice.

"Why is the bloody and cruel process of the old wand?" Felix asked with a familiar name.

Snape glanced at him.

"It is rumored that only by seizing this wand from the previous owner can it become its real master. This usually means conspiracy and bloody killing. There is a lot of evidence to show this-"

"So you believe this, too?" Felix asked.

Snape did not answer positively, and continued: "In history, several powerful black wizards used their lives to prove their reputation. Of course, there is another view that all this is nothing more than a nonsense coincidence, and was a conspiracy by later researchers, and reversed the alternation process of a limited number of masters of the wand. The wrong rules summarized from it are just a very talkative story."

"I'm not the elder wand in my hand." Felix sneered.

"It doesn't matter whether I believe it or not, and it doesn't count if I say it." Snape curled his lips.

Felix was silent. He had a new understanding of what Dumbledore said before. How could he know the enemy's ideas? Just use his actions to reverse it. At least in this matter, Felix could come to a conclusion: until Voldemort knew the truth and falsehood of the "Old Wand", he would never dare to be an enemy of himself.

The deterrence brought by a fake old wand is amazing.

Even Felix couldn't help but feel a little moved - just like Voldemort was afraid of Felix, Felix was also afraid of Voldemort. Two wizards with equal strength and far superior to normal levels valued each other's true thoughts inadvertently revealed is a normal thing.

Of course he knew that the old wand in his hand was a fake, but what if there was an invincible wand in reality, and he named his new wand after it, would this indicate something? For example, will he eventually obtain a real old wand?

But Felix quickly calmed down this idea. He was not willing to believe that there was an invincible wand. No matter how strong he was, would a wizard be stronger?

What's more, the magic wand is just a transition for him, and he doesn't need to spend too much energy on things that he is destined to give up. It's better to study how to fight Voldemort's life-seeking curse. He now has at least three ideas - zooming curse to enlarge the entity, level seven iron armor curse, and magic creature transformation. But it will take time to apply it flexibly.

Felix fell into deep thought. He had been underestimating the scalp in the past, thinking about how to reduce the target, but thinking about it carefully, it is also a good strategy to enlarge the things around him.

In the future, he can carry some coins, stones, nails and other things with him, and throw them all over when he encounters Voldemort... and even throw them into mice.

...

"Who is there!" Snape suddenly shouted. He walked into the shadows with a fierce momentum, his robe roaring.

Felix came back to his senses and happened to hear Snape's angry voice shouting: "Eavesdropping on the professor's words, deducting 50 points! Everyone! Plus confinement!"

Felix blinked and moved a few steps aside, and now he could see clearly.

Harry, Ron and Hermione stood together with a dejected expression, with a sickly expression. Harry was still holding a soft rope in his hand, which was the telescopic ear invented by the Weasley twins.
