Chapter 478: Safe Return(1/2)

Sklinger stood not far from the magical fountain, his yellow eyes staring at the empty fireplace.

The whole hall was so quiet that whenever a new Ministry of Magic staff appeared from the fireplace, they would see hundreds of people staring at him. Arthur Weasley was startled. He looked around and saw that the Ministry of Magic seemed to have a large-scale battle, and the ground was in a mess. The director of the Auror office was like an old lion who chose people to eat, and would pounce on the next second.

He moved away from the fireplace step by step, came to a wizard on the scene, and asked in a low voice: "What's going on, Arnold?"

The wizard wiped his sweat, "It's so scary, Arthur, if you came two minutes earlier, you might have bumped into that person..."

"You mean there is only one enemy? He escaped?" Mr. Weasley asked in surprise.

"Yes, I'll tell you..."

A harsh click sound came out, and Mr. Weasley raised his head, and the fence of the elevator slid to both sides, making a deafening clang, and a large group of people rushed out from it.

Amelia Bones walked in front, holding her wand and strideing over. She looked around, her eyebrows tightly twisted, and shouted loudly: "The therapist takes the injured to the hospital room for treatment."

"Scout team! Cooperate with Auror to investigate the scene."

The Aurors present and several magic law enforcement scouts in the crowd whispered.

"Kingsley, Delix!"

The two Aurors following her stood straightened their chests.

"Track your team with you," she paused, "mainly reconnaissance, don't do it easily."

"clear!"

"Reversal of the Occasional Magic Event Team! And all members of the Magic Law Enforcement Division!"

The people in the small hall stood up straight and waited for orders.

"Cleaning the ruins and debris. The insiders come forward to register clues, and the others do their own jobs." She turned to look at Sclinger until the crowd began to move, "Rufus, what did you find?"

Sclinger's eyes rolled and his voice was deep, "I saw his face."

Ms. Bones showed a surprised expression, "Who is it?"

"He made a disguise, I'm not sure, there is no evidence at the moment." Sclinger wanted to speak but stopped.

Ms. Bones glanced at him sternly, "Come with me, Rufus."

...

"I'm going to help too, goodbye, Arnold." Mr. Weasley hurriedly ran away, who was also a member of the Magic Law Enforcement Division.

"Goodbye, Arthur," the wizard muttered. "What a wonderful day, I thought the war broke out!"

"Be careful of your words, Pisgood." A cold voice said behind him. Arnold Pisgood turned around in surprise, "Yaxley?"

"It's me," said Yaxley. "You look forward to the coming of war?"

The wizard blushed and retorted loudly: "It's nonsense!"

Yaxley smiled coldly, "I hope you will be as firm as you are now." He turned around and walked towards the fireplace inlaid on the wall.

"Wait, where are you going?" cried the wizard.

"I was ordered to station Hogwarts," he said without looking back, "I came to get something this morning, but I didn't expect to see a big show."

...

Ms. Bones and Sclinger came to the round pool of the magic fountain. The sound of water rushing around covered their discussion. She asked in a low voice: "You have fought with him, so you should have your own judgment, right?"

Sclinger did not name his name directly. He leaned on a cane and stared at the statue erected in the middle of the pool. This was a group of pure gold statues, larger than a real person. The highest of them was a noble male witch, holding a magic wand. Around him were a beautiful witch, a horseman, a goblin and a house elf.

The horseman, the goblin and the house elves all looked up at the two wizards in infinite admiration.

"That man not only disguised his face, but also disguised his strength," Sclinger stared at the house elf statue, with gurgling water coming out of its ears. "The strength he showed at the beginning was similar to Alasto before retirement. I could see that he had experienced many battles and had excellent judgment. Maybe he didn't want to reveal his identity, and he used conventional magic..."

He continued, "But the man's last blow was too amazing, and I can't recognize what magic it was."

Ms. Bones listened quietly, falling into deep thought, staring at the fountain and slowly said, "Thousands of glass were broken in just one blow... Do you think this is his normal strength, or is it his extraordinary performance?"

Sclinger hesitated for a moment, "I think it's the former. He's good at disguising."

Ms. Bones looked at him seriously, "According to your description, there are very limited people who meet the conditions. I only know two, no... maybe three. I guess not many people abroad can meet the conditions, and it is unlikely that they will break into the British Ministry of Magic without warning... I need evidence!"

At this moment, a burly Auror came over with a guard.

"Ms. Bones, Mr. Sclinger, Eric has important clues!"

The two looked at Eric Munch at the same time, and Eric's body shook, "I, uh, I don't know if it's right..."

"It's okay, we'll make the right judgment," Ms. Bones comforted him.

"That's right. I saw someone while on duty last night. I thought it was strange, but I didn't think much about it at that time."

"Who did you see?" Sclinger asked in a deep voice.

"Yes, yes..." Eric stammered, his eyes crossed their backs, and saw a short, fat, stout man coming over with a fierce look. He widened his eyes: "Minister Forge!"

...

"Sir, your destination has arrived." The driver said politely.

"Thank you." Felix said tiredly, paying the money and getting out of the taxi. He took out a ring from his pocket and put it on his hand. As two rays of light flashed, a black magic wand and a brown amulet appeared in his hand.

He put away his spare wand and sat on a bench under the sycamore tree. A young mother pushed the stroller and enjoyed the leisurely morning. The baby supported her two fat hands and looked around. When she saw Felix sitting on the chair, she looked at him curiously.

Felix blinked at the baby, flipped his hands and took out a bottle of potion and poured it into his mouth.

He stood up from the bench and walked towards a house, and put a talisman on himself, pressed it twice, and the color of his body gradually faded away. Felix cheered up, "It's still the last step away, you can definitely do it, Felix... just needs to transfer the energy, it won't take much time."

...

"Is this happening?" Voldemort asked softly, and he sneered, "The Ministry of Magic lost his lord this time."

"Master, do you need me to reveal it?" Yaxley lowered his head and knelt on the ground. His gorgeous golden silk was inlaid with his body, and his flowing robe was dragged to the ground.

"Not for the time being," said Voldemort lazily, "you just need to secretly guide Fudge to turn his suspicious eyes to our children..."

"Why?" Yaxley asked, and the next second he was trembling, "Yes, sorry, master, I'm not questioning you."

Voldemort paced in front of him, and Yaxley lowered his head, and could only see a pair of pale feet. Finally, those feet stopped in front of him, "Lord, Master?"

"I can answer this question," Voldemort whispered: "Although you have never taken the initiative to find me in the past few years, Yaxley... After I lost my power, I slipped into the enemy's ranks, pretending to be innocent, and then continue to enjoy the glory and wealth... But when you saw me, you chose to return to my arms at the first time, so I am willing to forgive you."

"Master, Master..."

"I have a plan," Voldemort whispered: "I was deeply impressed by that kid. When I had just improved a little, he rushed in and almost ruined everything about me. At that time, I realized that I could not let him grow up..."

"Master, with your power, kill him is easy."

"Oh? Is this really the case? If you really believe in this, why do you serve your enemies with peace of mind for so many years?"

Yaxley stopped talking.

"I did nothing during this period, did not summon the Death Eaters, and did not gather old subordinates. Before you, there was only a loyal servant by your side. You can think about why the great Dark Lord wanted to hide like a mouse?"

"I told the kid that even if he and Dumbledore stand together, their relationship will break down as long as they violate Dumbledore's ideas... I look forward to this scene, and of course, if I have the chance, I don't mind killing him."

"Yaxley, my friend," Voldemort lowered his head and stared at Yaxley, "do what you should do, and I will wait for the guests to come..."

...

"Someone pretended to be me?" Fudge shouted incredibly with wide eyes. He glanced around him quickly and lowered his voice, "This is impossible, I have never handed my hair to anyone else!"

"It may also be a profound human deformation technique," Ms. Bones said.

"It must be." Fudge immediately echoed her, he stroked the buttons on his stomach irritably, his eyes moving over Bones, Sclinger, Auror and the guards, "Don't let this matter be rumored before finding out the truth. Do you understand?"

"So..." He stretched out his stubborn fingers and gestured randomly in the air. "Can anyone tell me what the purpose of that man breaks into the Ministry of Magic?"

"It's not clear yet," Sclinger said.

"Don't know?" Foggy repeated, staring at him, "What have you been doing for so long?"

"Wait for news, Your Excellency Minister." Sklinger said stiffly, "There are two Auror squads outside now, and they are the best, investigating the whereabouts of the criminals." He pointed to the surroundings again, "Others are investigating the scene."

"Are there any witnesses?" Fudge asked again.

Ms. Bones, Sclinger and Auror looked at Eric Munch, the guard on duty that night, and Fudge said in anger: "I want a witness other than him! He can't prove anything."

"Not yet, Fudge, we need time to collect evidence," Ms. Bones said gently.

"Time, time, if the reporters find out, they will stick like flies." Fudge said with disgust, with a strange light flashing in his eyes, and he muttered to himself in an inaudible voice: "There are no witnesses?"

He hurriedly left and said before leaving: "I will be at Hogwarts as a judge in the afternoon. I hope you can come up with one or two good news before that."

...

Grimo Square.

"Young man, your face is so bad, you'd better go see a doctor." An old woman with kind eyes looked at Felix with concern.

"Thank you, I'm fine," Felix muttered.

"Oh, your face is whiter than my hair," the old woman said, looking at him seriously. "To be honest, I'm just dying about this abnormal grayish white... Oh! Sorry, I didn't mean it."

"It's okay, ma'am," Felix said patiently, "I just stayed up too late and just had a sleep."

After persuading the enthusiastic old man to leave, Felix walked towards the open space between No. 11 and No. 13. His mind was drowsy, but he still felt that the person just now looked familiar. He seemed to have given her a card to cast a magic trick?

He shook his head and prevented himself from falling asleep. He had refilled the energy of the converter on Hermione, at the cost of part of the hourglass he had taken from the Ministry of Magic and broke into pieces.
