Chapter 416 Remnant Soul(1/2)

Late at night, on a slightly desolate mountain.

An old house covered with ivy stood in the mountains, surrounded by spells of glow. Felix ignored this. He looked at the black window on the top floor, gently pushed open the door, and it was quiet inside.

He passed a dark corridor, and at the end of the corridor was an ancient door.

As he got closer, he heard some sounds, which were a bellows with panting, strands, like a patient who was struggling with breathing. There were other people inside, fiddling with bottles and jars, followed by the sound of liquid pouring into the bottle.

"Get the potion!" said a cold voice.

Felix heard the sound of liquid pouring into his throat, and a painful moan came from inside. The person who was drinking the medicine was suffering tremendous pain. He stopped for a while.

"You'd better expect your son to intercept the elf, otherwise you'll suffer..." The cold voice seemed to be talking to someone, but Felix couldn't hear any response. He tapped his forehead gently. From the perspective of magic, he saw three magic sources.

One is slightly normal, but the other two are... amazingly evil.

Barty Crouch, Voldemort and a dark wizard? What is the difference in Voldemort's special state? Why is Dumbledore not optimistic about this trip?

Felix had a thought in his mind, and the sound transmission mirror swayed in his pocket. He raised his wand and aimed at one of the more obvious directions of the magic power fluctuations. The black arc kept accumulating at the tip of the wand, ready to go in the blink of an eye.

"Who is outside?" said a cold voice.

"See!"

Black lightning suddenly appeared and penetrated the wooden door. At the same time, Felix pushed the broken wooden door open and entered the room. His body was shining with the light of various protective objects, and he was wearing a windbreaker with dragon skin mixed with snake monster skin.

In the room, a magic barrier blocked his lightning, and Felix took everything inside the room into his eyes.

It was a simple room. Barty Crouch stood behind a chair, and it was no surprise that there was a swaddle in the chair. In the swaddle was a baby like a skeleton. There was no hair on his head, his face, and his body seemed to have scales, his skin was dark and red, like wounded tender flesh.

Its arms and legs are thin and soft, and its face is a flat snake face. There are two narrow and long gaps on the position above which belongs to the eyes, which reveal a seepable red light from the gap.

"Mr. Voldemort, I have to say that despite my preparation, I was shocked when I actually saw you."

Felix said kindly, but his eyes were staring at the corner of the chair, a big snake, at least twelve feet long, climbing up to his body along Barty Crouch's legs, the snake was very clever, hiding most of its body behind Crouch, poking its head out of Crouch's neck, making a hissing sound.

Felix's original goal was the snake.

The magic power in the big snake's body was more than the weak baby-like Voldemort in front of him! He had previously judged the wrong master based on the perspective of magic. No, maybe that's right...

Horcrux.

A word flashed through Felix's mind.

Voldemort actually used a living creature as a horde. Didn’t he think about dissipating with his soul fragments after this creature died?

He had a real understanding of Voldemort's madness.

"Take Nagini first." Voldemort, who was sitting in the chair, ordered.

At this moment, a black lightning flash suddenly appeared and headed straight for Batty Crouch, to be precise, the snake head on the right side of his neck.

"Sizi!"

After a sensation of terrifying electric current, the black lightning was forcibly deflected, tearing a hole in the wall, and sparse moonlight fell in.

Felix looked at Voldemort intently, gasping for breath, and a bellows-like roar in his chest. But this was already moving enough. A temporary body constructed by magic potions and magic actually blocked his attack twice in a moment of incomprehensible moment.

He was not intercepting again, and Barty Crouch had disappeared with the snake. Someone was waiting for them outside, and I wonder if Voldemort would vomit blood after he knew it.

A white flame slowly emerged from behind him. Felix looked at Voldemort and asked with interest: "You actually broke the back personally. This is different from my impression of you... They are very important to you?"

"What made you think of this ridiculous idea?" Voldemort said slowly, the two spells overwhelmed him, his baby-like body leaning against the back of the chair, like a pool of talking flesh.

His voice was hoarse, "If you have experienced my experience and felt my despair, you will realize that even a puppet and a humble elf cannot give up easily..."

"So that's it, you don't have enough manpower." Felix nodded slightly. The reason why Shining survived was clear. The flames behind him continued to expand. He stepped out, and the fierce fire poured down like flowing water. He started from his toes and rushed out toward both sides.

Two fire snakes intersect behind Voldemort, connecting them into a standard circle, circleing the chair where Voldemort was sitting inside. Then the flames evaporated, and a chain-like white fuse rope crisscrossed and woven into a large, airtight net.

In this net, whether it is the phantom movement or the door key, it is difficult to start it.

"You can rank in my heart if you use Lihuo to this level." Voldemort whispered, he had no intention of escaping, as if he wanted to talk to Felix.

Felix looked at him calmly, having communicated with Dumbledore, and he knew that he could not be too careful. But inevitably, a question arose in his heart: Why didn't Voldemort stop him? Can't it be done?

"You are wondering why I didn't fight back?" Voldemort's uncomfortable voice sounded again, "No need to worry, I can do nothing in my current state, my friend... A few months ago, I was still wandering in the Albanian forest, possessing those small animals for a long time. All this made me bored, but there was no way. At that time, I was worse than the most humble wandering soul... Only in this way can I find a trace of the feeling of being a living creature."

"Until Petr found you."

Felix said that from the perspective of magic, in the reach of sight, there is only Voldemort, but there is no door key or magic trap, only Voldemort himself, the weak but extremely evil magic is wantonly distorting his perspective.

He suddenly realized that Voldemort really wanted to talk to him because he had no ability to resist.

"Yes, until Petrite Peter found me..." said a hoarse and cold voice. "A cowardly servant, although he was unwilling to admit it, if he was still there, I would be a little easier than now." His tone was like throwing a piece of napkin that could still be used.

"Peter, the Petrite, was taken away by the Ministry of Magic, and he was kissed by the dementor." Felix stated.

"I know... he died and lived for a week," Voldemort said indifferently. "I have tried to prolong their lives as much as possible, but the results are often not satisfactory."

"When you were still in glory?" Felix said.

"It's just some boring tricks. When all your servants go out to promote your glory, you need to find something for yourself. Some of my servants... Bella likes torture people, but I'm tired of it. I prefer to study dark magic, dark art, which are as charming as the deep night without stars..."

Voldemort said in a long tone, polite. His voice was not as harsh as it was at the beginning. Perhaps it was due to the tone that Felix actually thought of the academic conference.

At this moment, he slowly said, "My friend, let's open your flame a little, we have enough time."

Felix was unmoved, but instead pressed the flame cage lower. He had extremely high control over Li Huo. Except for the burnt traces on the ground, other items in the room were intact.

"Don't you have something to say? I'm still listening, but please forgive me for my limited patience."

Voldemort let out a sneer, "I used to regard you as the second Dumbledore, but you don't have his patience..."

"Voldemort, you have always hailed your achievements in black magic, but you can't beat Dumbledore. Do you know how people judge your relationship? He is the only person you fear. I'm curious, if you haven't learned a real lesson, would you agree that this kind of speech spread?"

"Dumbledore..." Voldemort whispered the name, his voice even colder, "That old guy hid himself so well that everyone was deceived by him. He was a clever hypocrite."

He looked at Felix and grinned and laughed, "Maybe all of you think of him as an old man who can only talk nonsense?"

"Isn't it? He's over a hundred years old." Felix asked, picking the point in his words, the enemy's words are also valuable.

Voldemort made a contemptuous voice, but he did not follow Felix's topic. "I have known you, I have learned in detail... Felix Happ, and I was surprised to find that we were born very similar," he whispered: "We all have no choice to live in a Muggle orphanage, who is equally gifted, but have to endure strange looks-"

"Sorry, I was very happy when I was in the orphanage," Felix interrupted.

"So that's it, Muggle research expert... It's so ironic, you're like the opposite of me." The gap in Voldemort's eyes flashed with red light, and his tone was full of nostalgia. "Actually, I had the hope of becoming your colleague back then. At your age, I might still be your professor. Unfortunately, Dumbledore rejected me and had no feelings." Voldemort said with emotion. "He has always been like this."

"You must have been naughty when you were a child, so he had such a bad impression of you." Felix said teasingly.

Voldemort's narrowed eyes opened, and his skeleton-like face became vivid and twisted. "Another, another person who was brainwashed by him, Felix Hepp, I suddenly don't want to kill you anymore. I want to see how he will treat you when you have a conflict with him. As far as I know, you are not a good person..."

Felix looked at him with a bright look, "Is this the trait of becoming a Dark King? It's beyond ordinary people's arrogance and imagination?"

"It's confidence and strategy." Voldemort corrected.

"Okay," Felix said softly, "Then, I need you to go back with me, you'd better tell Dumbledore this in person, you must have a lot of private words to say."

"There will be a day, but not today, I will give a moving speech to his body," said Voldemort.

Felix opened his hands and then closed them suddenly. The white fire gathered towards the center, condensed into a long white sword, and fell suddenly.

He took a few steps back at the same time, squinting his eyes to see what Voldemort had, but unexpectedly, the long sword of the white fire pierced straight through Voldemort's chest. The flames splashed everywhere, touching Voldemort's swaddle, crawling all over his body, burning violently "crackling".

In the blazing fire, Voldemort let out a creeping scream. The red eyes, which were like a gap, opened to the limit, and his blood-red eyes stared at him.

"You are the second person who gives me the feeling of death, I remember you, Felix Happ!"

He shouted shrillly, his whole body turned into firewood, Felix stared at him, an illusory shadow rose from above the flame, and he looked like smoke condensed, without substance.

If it is in the flame, he will take the flame as his body, and if it is in the water, he will take the water as his shadow.

"You can't kill me, and I will come back at any time-" the phantom twisted and roared in pain.

"Swoosh!"

A dazzling green light penetrated the phantom, as if it was hitting the air, and the life-seeking curse had no effect. Then, a silver light flashed in Felix's eyes, and the thinking room was used in turn, and the effect was still close to nothing.

In trouble.

Felix had this thought in his mind. His magic was useless to Voldemort's phantom, and he remembered the sentence again:

Not as good as the most humble wandering soul...

But his hands were still very stable. This was his first time meeting with Voldemort, and both of them were a little surprised. Voldemort protected his Horcrux first. Felix deliberately pretended not to know. He didn't know whether Dumbledore had succeeded. If he failed, he could set up a kill trap when he met next time.

At the same time, Voldemort himself had to stay and use his body as bait. But he was in no way able to fight Felix at present, and he had already been prepared to lose this body. This was nothing to him. Instead, he could take the opportunity to talk to Felix. It would be even better if he could get apart Dumbledore's relationship with him.

Felix used this rare period of time to skillfully cast spells - twisted suction, black lightning, green mist, milky white light, golden flames... A series of powerful magic vented in Crouch's mansion, and the magic light exploded into countless dazzling lights.

He was testing the weakness of Voldemort's remnant soul, but Voldemort ignored all these magics and walked straight through the silver shield, floating above the ceiling where a big hole was broken, and laughed and said:

"There are so many tricks, but one magic used to kill people is enough!"

He left a hazy and vicious look, rushed into the dark sky, and disappeared in a blink of an eye.

After a moment of silence, Felix let out a sigh of relief.

"When I complete the Book of Demonic Texts, I will develop a magic text talisman array for you, and see how you run away." He said with a little dissatisfaction, but he realized that it would be difficult for him to deal with Voldemort in this state.

Voldemort is still too far from a real creature at this moment, so far that normal means cannot take effect at all, and there is no magic for this state in history.

Perhaps this is why Dumbledore knew that Voldemort's remnant soul was wandering in the Albanian forest but did not take action.

"Magic power...memory...emotion...projection of existence, is his true face? In the gap between life and death, relying on the positioning of the Horcrux left a shadow. If all Horcruxes are destroyed before he is reborn, will he lose his support in reality?"
