Chapter 329 The best birthday

When Harry appeared in the kitchen, no one of the three of Dursleys looked at him, nor did anyone mention his birthday. This was exactly what Harry wanted. He didn't want Uncle Fennon's smelly socks at all. That kind of bad birthday gift would be enough.

Uncle Fennon was looking at the newspaper, Aunt Penny was cutting dry grapefruit, while Cousin Dudley, who had slumped the fat on his arm on the table, his whole face was angrily.

Since Dudley returned with a shameful report card and fat body, his good days have come to an end. In fact, he can still struggle. As long as he shed a few tears, Aunt Penny will cry empathically, and then quickly compromise and promise all the conditions of Dudley.

This is his specialty. However, under the transcript are a few words carefully filled in by the nurses of Smeting School. They tactfully reminded the two parents that if Dudley continues to gain weight, it will affect his health. The school's clothing library no longer has clothes that suit his size.

The nurse also thoughtfully attached a weight loss recipe. At Aunt Penny's insistence, in order to take care of Dudley's mood, the whole family had to follow this new diet system together. The effect was obvious. Uncle Feinong's chin was smaller, which made his beard look ethereal and fluffy.

But Harry didn't care at all. Even before receiving his birthday gift, he would go to Sirius to make up for breakfast. Now he couldn't wait to imagine where Sirius would take him to play. Sirius recently found a motorcycle, and he saw a trace of seagrid in his godfather's obsessed eyes.

"Grapefruit again!"

Dudley said angrily that he had perfectly inherited Uncle Fennon's small eyes and figure.

Harry thought happily, he sniffed something that didn't taste any on his plate and couldn't help but burp. Just now, he ate two large pieces of cream cake, and now he's a little overwhelmed.

"Dear?" Aunt Penny said patiently, "We agreed to follow the weight loss recipe sent by the school nurse-"

But Dudley didn't listen at all. He finished his part and stared at Harry's plate with his small eyes-even though the grapefruit was much smaller than his own. Then his eyes fell on Harry's lips, where there were suspicious traces of food.

"He hid what he had eaten." Dudley said with certainty, stretching out his carrot-like finger.

Harry hurriedly wiped his mouth, and after touching the sticky butter, he realized that he was careless.

"What?" asked Aunt Penny in confusion.

However, Dudley stared at Harry with a greedy look, as if he was a cream cake or something. Harry's heart was covered with a shadow and he faced a difficult choice. If Dudley really wanted to steal his cake, should he take out his wand and threaten him?

‘There is no Sirius here, no spare wand, and no excuses. If magic is used, the Ministry of Magic will directly locate itself…’

At this moment, a loud horn sounded outside the door, followed by the roar of the motorcycle idling. Uncle Feinong suddenly exploded. He shouted angrily: "It's the damn murderer again, scum... can't he be quiet!"

Aunt Penny looked around in horror, worried that her neighbors would notice this.

"Sirian is not a murderer," Harry said coldly.

"Then let...that damn... guy... stop!" Uncle Feinong said gritting his teeth, and the veins on his face burst out. Harry was a little scared. He walked to the window with a stern face and waved at Sirius.

The horn stopped.

Aunt Penny was gasping for breath, as if she had been holding her breath just now. Harry stood there hesitantly, not knowing whether to mention his birthday. He felt that there was no need to do anything extra. Aunt Penny gave Harry a fierce look, and Uncle Feinon could no longer help, "What are you waiting for? You disappear from my eyes immediately!" he roared and shouted.

At this time, Dudley also interrupted, "Your godfather...that Sirius is waiting for you."

This sentence seemed to be even more powerful than Sirius's horn sound. Uncle Fennon and Aunt Penny looked at Dudley in surprise. They never mentioned Sirius' name. If they had to say it, use "the prisoner," "murderer" as a reference, or simply "the hippie is here to find you."

Harry's mind was turning rapidly, his eyes met Dudley, and suddenly he understood what Dudley was doing. He hurriedly said, "I'll go upstairs to get something--"

He returned to his room, stuffed the books and salutes he brought from school to the bottom of the bed, and then looked at the pile of candies and snacks on the bed, feeling worried. There were three large cakes side by side on the table, one of which had been opened.

After a few seconds, Harry came up with a good idea. He took out the golden thief that Sirius gave him from his pocket and packed all the snacks and candies in it, but when filling the cake, he encountered some trouble and could only barely stuff one in.

He had to stuff the remaining two cakes under the bed and hide them behind the gift box. After all this, Harry clapped his hands with satisfaction, and if Dudley sneaked in, he would get nothing. Normally, there was no such concern, because the Dursleys regarded his room as a hotbed for plague, and even accelerated his pace when passing by.

But as far as he knows, hungry animals are the most dangerous and irrational, in other words, hungry pigs are similar.

Before leaving the door, Harry hesitated for a moment. Uncle Feinong was already shouting from the bottom. Before he could think too much, he opened the Golden Snitch and shook a handful of snacks, a cauldron cake, a sizzling bee candy, and messy things from it. Without looking closely, he put the candies in a conspicuous position.

Hurry down the stairs, Uncle Fennon pointed at the open door and said nothing. When Harry passed the dining table, he saw that the quarter of the grapefruit on his plate had disappeared. He grinned and walked out of the door.

Sirius had been waiting for a long time. He leaned on a very powerful motorcycle, and the exhaust port let out a low roar. Harry sat in the back seat, Sirius started the motorcycle, and quickly rose up. The wind was howling around Harry's hair. The road of Ligust was far behind him. Harry shouted excitedly: "Where are we going?"

"London." Sirius roared, "I have a complete plan."

...

They had fun all day and traveled half of London. As the evening approached, Sirius took him for a ride by the Thames. The waves reflected the golden glow, and Harry was filled with steak and oysters.

At seven o'clock in the evening, they returned to Privet Road, but Harry didn't want to go back so early, and he readily agreed when Sirius invited him to play wizard chess.

Harry ruthlessly beat his godfather's three-plate game, forcing Sirius to cheat and break up the board, so they had to sit on the sofa and watch TV together.

It was dragged until nearly ten o'clock when Mrs. Feige, next door, knocked on the door and complained that they were too loud, and Harry realized that it was time to go back.

The light at No. 4 Liverfolk Road was still on, which made Harry a little confused. When he opened the door, he saw Uncle Fennon and Dudley huddled on the sofa to watch the game. He breathed a sigh of relief. Finally, it was not what he thought. Harry deliberately paid attention to the expression on Dudley's face, and he turned his head guiltily.

"Get back to your room and don't disturb Penny." Uncle Fennon whispered.

Harry returned to the room and opened the door. The pile of snacks was indeed gone. He hurriedly checked under the bed, and the cake was intact.

He was thinking too much...
