Chapter 324 Lupin's Doubts

Remus Lupin attached great importance to today's interview. He took half an hour in advance and silently reviewed the prepared materials on the way he came. His pocket was carefully cut newspaper clippings.

"... Regardless of origin, it depends entirely on ability. Anyone who studies any three fields of Muggle in ancient times, alchemy, spell, transformation, magic theory, and study of Muggle far exceeds that of ordinary people..."

Regardless of origin, it depends on your ability!

This is an extremely rare word in recruitment in the magic world. Although the conditions are relatively harsh, Lupin believes that he is not bad except for ancient magic texts. In fact, what he is best at is content related to the defense of black magic. During the years he wandered, he had many opportunities to practice.

After receiving the interview invitation, he reiterated in his reply letter to him that the company is committed to practical magic research, which involves the improvement and transformation of a large number of Muggle items. Lupin spent half a month to learn about various novel things in the non-magic world.

This understanding became fascinated. Lupin discovered a system that was completely different from magic, full of rigor and logic, and everything was traceable, but unfortunately, there was no place for magic here.

He didn't know if the owner of the "Future World" saw this, but he felt that it was worth it to see the company's philosophy even if he was not admitted. When he came here according to the address, he saw a very imposing vertical castle surrounded by a large group of people.

He listened to him for a few minutes, but was still confused. What is the building that suddenly grew an hour ago? Is it an open space two hours ago?

He also saw a house elf wearing clothes - it was strange in itself - but the ring-shaped weifons on his chest caught Lupin's attention. Is it a representative of an ancient family, or alchemy? Or... the Magic Club?

When he revealed his identity, the house elf took him into the building. Lupin liked the simple and undecorated architectural style inside. They walked up the curved spiral staircase, and Dobby jumped in front.

"Please wait--"

Lupin looked at the relief on the ceiling near the handrail on the second floor, and helped him make up for his homework these days. Although he didn't know all the characters on the dome, he could tell their professions, especially the person who fiddled with complex machinery, who seemed to be a mechanical engineer?

As he thought, he heard a rush of wind. He turned around and saw Severus Snape's cold face. Snape stood two steps higher than him, closing his black robe in front of him, like a black bat with his wings folded up, looking down at him from a high point.

"Lupin," Snape said softly, with a smile on his lips, "Welcome...."

Lupin suddenly remembered that Snape had the first time he sent him a wolf poison potion, and he had the same expression. After drinking it, he couldn't eat it for two days.

"Hello, Severus," Lupin said gently, he walked up the last two steps, "What a coincidence, I met you here."

"Coincidence? No..." Snape said playfully, "I've been waiting for you for a long time."

"Are you waiting for me?" Lupin frowned, and the weifolia pattern on Dobi's chest appeared in his mind again, dear Muggle, recruitment requires ancient magical texts to rank first...

"The last name Lupin may suggest your identity," Snape's smile became colder. "I have recently studied the knowledge of names and have ignored a little in the past. Names are magical."

Lupin was stinged, and he hated being mentioned. The word "Lupin" has the meaning of a wolf in its obscene use in some countries.

Snape curled his lips contemptuously, just about to continue saying something, but a noise came from behind him. Felix came out with Percy and Penelo, and the two were surprised at the tense atmosphere between them.

"Get out of here-" Snape said, air conditioning all over his body.

Percy and Penelo glanced at Felix, who smiled and nodded at them, and they hurriedly left.

Felix waved his wand and the building's door closed.

He leaned against the corner of the wall and said slowly: "I have always been very curious that the two professors were the best in that era, one was the master of duel and the other was the master of black magic defense. So who is better?"

"I had a chance to see this scene, but it was interrupted by me. Now I finally have a chance to confirm this."

Lupin frowned and looked at Felix: "I'm here for an interview, not a fight."

Felix lowered his head and stared at his nails seriously: "You misunderstood, Professor Lupin. At your farewell party, I have already admitted you. Yes, this is my company. I have enough knowledge of your abilities as early as this year's work, so you can regard this as a welcome event for new colleagues - to show off your skills and improve your understanding. Perhaps, you can also recite an evil curse to me."

A red flash flew towards him, "Don't talk nonsense, Felix." Snape said with a fierce look on his face. He looked at Lupin, "I seem to rarely deal with you, you always hide behind Porter and Black's ass..."

"Oh, Severus," Lupin pulled out his wand, and he couldn't suppress his anger, "There are two of them to deal with. If you add me, you will be scared to pee your pants."

Snape smiled sternly, "It's so good..." A red light flew out.

Lupin flashed quickly, and a disarming spell was whirled with his backhand. Two people who were also full of anger fought, and the spell flew and the light was everywhere. Snape felt the excitement that he had not been missing. He truly felt that he was still alive, except for someone next to him chattering and talking nonstop—

"No one cares about it here, don't hide it, Severus, where is your black magic?"

"Oh, I almost hit me, professor, there is something wrong with your accuracy-"

Felix tilted his head, and a spell exploded beside him, and he smiled: "You guys attack me first, don't say I'm unreasonable..."

He stood up from the wall, his arms spread soothed, and a dark wand appeared in his hand. With a light wave, three dazzling lights flew out at the same time and rushed towards the two of them.

Lupin was surprised that he suddenly joined the battlefield and blocked the spell in a slight embarrassment. He took two steps back cautiously and was surprised to see Snape also supporting a barrier that emits misty fluorescence.

The two looked at each other and looked at Felix who was walking over with his arms wide open, Snape said irritably.

"Do you get the wrong thing."

But Felix took the lead and he kept approaching, spells falling like rain. Each spell was not strong, but the number was absolutely exaggerated, and the magic light shone his body.

"Two professors, you still need to work hard."

Snape and Lupin looked at each other. Snape shook his hand and threw out a rapid black mist, corroding the oncoming spell. The magic wand in Lupin's hand drew down like a sharp sword, making a "swoosh" sound, and the gravel on the floor flew towards Felix tremblingly.

He was still a little confused and didn't understand what was going on. He was originally nervous to attend the interview, but he ran into his lord Snape. He poked his sore spot as soon as he came up. Another former colleague also secretly provoked trouble and encouraged them to fight. He even found a bad excuse to join in, and he was forced to join forces with Snape...
