Chapter 300 Demonstration

Felix opened his eyes, as if he was a different life. He looked at the old man on the bed, took out a spectator from his pocket and kept it at his hand.

The mirror began to roll, and the sound of crisp and pleasant music started.

"Is this a look-around?" Nick asked softly, "What are you going to protect yourself from?"

The two had discussed this issue. He knew that Felix had found seven methods of making spectacles from ancient books, and changed it to magical creations, and he also gave a lot of opinions.

"It's just a prank, it can sense a person's body temperature and it will ring when his hands are released."

The old man laughed: "If you don't say it, I might have to think about it for a long time." He listened quietly for a while, then reached out and groped and grabbed the spectacle, and the voice stopped.

"Abus... help me call Albus."

Felix waved his wand and a silver light disappeared. Soon, Dumbledore appeared at the door. He quickly walked to the bedside and leaned over to look at Nick Lemay. Seeing that he was intact, Dumbledore was obviously relieved.

"Principal Dumbledore, don't you think I'm going to do anything?" Felix said with a strange look. He was right beside him, and he saw clearly that there was no communication between the two, and it was purely Dumbledore's concern for Nick Lemay's safety.

"You're overthinking, Felix." Dumbledore said with a smile.

Nick Lemay held the spectator tightly with one hand, with a tremolo in his voice: "Ah, Albus—please testify that everything about me belongs to Felix Hepp."

Dumbledore said in a deep voice: "I will respect your wishes, Nick."

"Fei, Felix--" The old man's gaze turned to Felix, trying to open his eyes wide, looking at the blurry shadow through a layer of white cataract.

"I'm here, Nick," Felix said.

A golden key floated towards him. He spread his palms and let the key fall on his hand, with the remaining warmth of the old man's body on it.

"Hope-don't blame me, the setbacks of youth-not necessarily-is, it's a bad thing, I believe, believe in you-cough!" Nick Lemay coughed violently, his eyes bulged, and he continued with breathing, "I believe you will become a legend of the new era-"

Dumbledore looked at Felix in shock. What happened in the past half hour? How could his old friend suddenly recognize him? Legend... Dumbledore could clearly sense the deep expectation contained in this evaluation.

Felix did not avoid Dumbledore's inquiry vision. He looked at Nick Lemay in a daze. After the old man finished speaking, he gasped gently, muttering his wife's name: "Perenal..."

After a while, the spectator in his hand suddenly rang out, and the melodious music echoed in the hut.

The key in Felix's hand was bright, and at this moment, he became the owner of this safe house, and at the same time, a series of hidden addresses flowed in his heart.

...

Half an hour later, Felix and Dumbledore stood in front of a tombstone. At the request of Nick Lemay, he and his wife Perenal were buried together. This was a place where birds and flowers sing. Not far apart, it was Nick and his wife's first residence after graduating from Boothbaton School.

The two stood silently for a while, and Dumbledore cast a guardian spell to hide the open space. Felix stretched out his finger and touched it gently, and the air in front of him was rippling like water waves.

The two of them walked along a path—

"Do you need to talk, Felix?" Dumbledore said gently.

"I'm not that vulnerable yet," Felix murmured dissatisfiedly, "You'd better take the time to find Voldemort's Horcrux."

Dumbledore smiled: "Ah, I've been stuck with some trivial matters recently. Tom's life is really rich, and he has come into contact with quite a few people, but-" he blinked mischievously, "I still found a useful clue."

"About the third Horcrux?"

"I guess, maybe the secret of the fourth Horcrux is also hidden. I made an appointment with a poor house elf, but she is in a bad state and I have to hurry up..."

Felix nodded, he thought for a moment, and couldn't help asking, "How strong is Voldemort, can you not deal with him, just because of the horcrux's ability to be killed?"

"There is a reason, but besides the Horcrux, he himself is also a master of black magic, not to mention the various experiments he had done on himself during the years he disappeared." Dumbledore said calmly, "In his own words: he pushed magic to an unprecedented level."

"Sounds a bit arrogant."

"Indeed, but I have to admit that his words make some sense." Dumbledore said: "The above sentence can be changed to, he pushed some magic to an unprecedented level. And others-"

“Very shallow?”

"Yes, I'm just talking about it... Ignorance is sad."

Felix thought for a while and said tentatively: "Ms. Royna Ravenclaw once said that she and the other three founders are already considered magical creatures."

"Is that true?" Dumbledore said, with no surprise in his tone.

"Felix, I can't give you many useful insights. When I was young, I did think that I could do everything for a while... a magic creature? This statement is too modest, and I was too arrogant at that time."

"So—" Felix held his breath, "have you really entered a wonderful state?"

Dumbledore smiled slightly, "I can demonstrate it a little, of course, just a demonstration."

"What do I do?"

"Recite a spell at me, well, don't be too powerful. I need to remind you that the one standing in front of you is a centenarian."

Felix was a little excited. This was the first time he had the opportunity to experience the magical attainments of Dumbledore, the strongest wizard. He took a few steps back, his body straightened, and thought for a while, carefully throwing out a level three coma spell.

He looked at Dumbledore with anticipation. How could Dumbledore demonstrate another realm of magic?

"bite!"

The red light flew quickly towards the opposite side like a meteor. Dumbledore cleverly stretched out his right hand, bent his finger and bounced the spell away, like a fly or something.

Then he nodded politely: "Thank you for caring about me, the old man. According to your standards, this should be a level three curse? If it is stronger, I might be making a fool of myself."

Felix looked at Dumbledore in surprise. He could resist several coma spells himself, but he was keenly aware of the difference between the two: his method was actually the Aurors of the Ministry of Magic, which had resistance to specific spells, and what Dumbledore did was even more magical.

He had a feeling that standing in front of him was like a magical creature dressed in Dumbledore's skin, such as a human-headed, spherical-tailed beast. As far as he knew, the skin of this magical animal was almost repelled by all known spells.

"President Dumbledore, you—"

"I'm not as magical as you think. I'm old and I'm barely left with some magical tricks. I have no doubt - like Nick thinks, you'll go further than me in the future."

Felix knew that these words meant the end of the conversation, so he could only remember the scene that had just happened and carefully examined it when he had time.

"Are you going back to school, Principal Dumbledore?"

“I need to deal with some more things.”

The two parted on a hill full of light yellow wild flowers. Felix walked towards the castle from the edge of the forbidden forest, wearing the shiver of the sunset. As he approached the castle, he heard a burst of rapid footsteps, and looked in the sound, but there was nothing in front of him.

"Oh, professor, I finally found you!" Hermione suddenly appeared in the air and said breathlessly, holding a mercury-like invisible jacket in her hand.

Felix pulled his wand back into his cuff, "What happened?"
