Chapter 296 Crouch and Bagman
Ministry of Magic.
Felix pushed open the door of the phone booth and watched it rise to the ground and walked towards the hall with the crowd.
"Hello, Mr. Happ."
"Mr. Happ, congratulations."
Felix responded little by little. After giving a speech at the Ministry of Magic, he had many more acquaintances. He came to the No. 3 living room with a familiarity. There was only an old wizard in the room. He raised his head tremblingly: "Felix Happ?"
"You are... Augustus Gray? I remember you, at the ceremony of Belby's award."
The old wizard grinned, his mouth full of teeth falling out, "It's rare. I can see an outstanding young man before I retire."
"You've been awarded, Mr. Gray." Felix said with a smile.
The two chatted. Augustus Gray has been working in the Wiesengamor Affairs Office since seventy years ago, responsible for handling regular paperwork. He was a reckless young man at that time, and then slowly promoted to the head of the office. He knew very well about the Ministry of Magic and knew many interesting things and gossip.
"...Bertha, the little girl, is innocent and loves to help others. She asked me if I need a pair of crutches..."
Felix blinked, "Is it Bertha Joggins? I seem to have heard of this name."
A cheerful voice appeared from behind the two, "Ha~What are you discussing?"
Felix turned around and said that this was a big witch. It could be seen that he must have been tall and strong, but now he is starting to go downhill, and his figure is even more round, making it hard to remind people of the word burly again.
His movements were very big, his arms kept waving as he spoke, his voice was full of emotion and full of infectiousness.
"Hello, I'm Ludo Bagman, you're Felix Hepp? I heard from people in the department that Arthur, Arthur Weasley, I don't know if you recognize him or not, he was very impressed by your last speech." Bagman shook his golden hair and leaned closer and whispered, "Beautiful work, I mean, I hate McNeil, very annoying..."
Felix said gently: "Mr. Bagman, I just gave a normal speech-"
"Yes, yes," Bagman couldn't wait to interrupt him, his face full of smiles: "Who said no, I wasn't in the department at the time, there were fan parties, and these people were really enthusiastic... Oh my God, I love them, but, well, I knew what was going on for the first time I heard about it," he squeezed his eyes. "I am very familiar with some people from the pure blood family, it's my father's relationship... They told me a lot."
Felix smiled, "I'm curious about what they said."
"Ahem, I can't say, I promised them, but," Bagman held it in a while, and couldn't help it. He pretended to be mysterious: "You are very famous in the pure blood family, and they all respect you very much. I think, even more awesome than Batty Crouch, by the way, Batty-"
He suddenly shouted to the distance. Felix looked in the voice and saw a man in his fifties with his waist straight and his movements stiff. His straight wizard robe was spotless and there was no wrinkle on the corners of the robe.
Crouch came over and he walked a straight line. "Hello, Bagman." Crouch said politely, his short mustache was very neat, as if he had been trimmed with a ruler, "I have been looking for you, work."
"Let's put aside the hell work and come and talk for a while," Bagman said enthusiastically: "I'll introduce you to me. This is my new friend, Felix Hepp, today's protagonist, who is unique in the field of memory therapy!"
Crouch stretched out his hand calmly, "Hello, Mr. Heip, it's an honor to see you, but I don't have time, and I will meet the Bulgarian minister later."
"Hello, Mr. Crouch, if there is anything, you can leave at any time."
"That's right," Bagman said with a smile on his face, "Who can only understand their strange accents, thank you for your hard work..."
"You have to be with me too, Bagman. There are a lot of work there, and someone must be watching, otherwise there will be two hundred loose sand, and the number of people is still increasing, and I am incompetent."
"I know," Bagman said awkwardly, but he quickly found a reason, "I'm busy too, you know, communication in the United States is not smooth, they want to change the rules, but who I am, I will definitely not compromise-"
Crouch raised his eyebrows, "We promise not to disclose any details before announcing it."
"Oh, details!" Bagman waved his hand and said indifferently: "But the event happened in Hogwarts, and we have to talk to them during the holidays - details, you see, I bet Hep must know something."
He turned his head to look at Felix and said expectantly: "You must know that some things cannot be avoided at all. Dumbledore held several meetings and rejected some interesting proposals."
"Are you talking about the Triumph?"
"Three? Now it's the semifinals, maybe more than that," Bagman said. "Old Foggy wants to bring more people in. Vagadu, in Africa, ask me to tell me that I think his brain is broken."
"Bagman!" said Mr. Crouch sternly, "we should change the subject."
"Oh, uh, okay." Bagman was a little overwhelmed and shrank his shoulders in a hurry. "Listen to you, let's talk about the protagonist today, my good friend - Felix Hepp."
He said with his eyes shining: "It's not easy to win the youngest St. Mungo medical badge. I think of them as old men, I mean, older therapists."
"...and the Merlin Medal, I don't know if it's the youngest one." He looked at Barty Crouch.
"I think of Petr, who was only 21 when he died." Crouch said slowly, obviously, he didn't want to discuss the topic.
"Admirable, he is a hero." Bagman said in a compliment, not so respectful tone. "But Mr. Hepp is not bad either, this year--" He glanced at Felix, who said briefly: "23."
"That's right, I'm 23 years old, and with my real ability, memory damage, I'm not very familiar with this area, which should be a disadvantage in treating memory? I think Bertha Joggins needs to see what she did. What she did was a headache. She couldn't find the venue and was walking around for a week."
Barty Crouch didn't speak, and kept a stern face.
"What do you think, Batty? She should be in the department today, so it's better for her to come..."
"She's not here," Crouch said stiffly.
"What?"
"She is not here, I approved her vacation and let her go on vacation."
"Uh, but she's mine, Barty..."
Mr. Barty Crouch suddenly got angry: "Then you take responsibility and spend the time you spend meeting fans on maintaining the venue, rather than giving me everything."
Bagman's momentum immediately weakened, like a balloon that was pierced, "I don't mean that, okay, you're right, let her relax, there's not much more than her..."
Crouch left in a hurry, Bagman was a little uneasy, chatted unnaturally, and said goodbye, "I'd better talk to the Americans again. In fact, their ideas are not... not that outrageous."
More and more people flocked to the living room, and Felix had to say hello one by one and say some unnutritious nonsense. It took him a long time to get rid of Connelly Fudge. Fudge didn't know if he had taken the wrong medicine, so he enthusiastically introduced him to the senior officials of the pure blood faction of the Ministry of Magic. Fortunately, he saw some familiar faces.
"Filius, Minerva, Severus, and Damocles, are you all together?"
