Chapter 212 Cedric Diggory

On the last Saturday of September, the new recruitment assessment of the Magic Wen Club began.

Hermione called Harry and Ron early on. After breakfast, the three of them hurried to the ancient magical classroom.

Harry looked tired, Ron rubbed his eyes hard, and he complained, "Hermione, we went too early. And Harry and I just need to hand over the paper, and Professor Hepp won't give the score on the spot."

Hermione looked at them seriously, "Of course I went to help, the paper you wrote..." She curled her lips and said nothing mean, but her meaning was already very obvious.

Harry blushed a little. It took him and Ron two weeks to barely make up seven feet, which was a death toll on their part.

The longest essay Harry has ever written is only three feet, which was an essay about the "Medieval European Wizards" assigned by Professor Binnes last year. If he remembers it correctly, Hermione's homework was four feet and seven inches, and the words she wrote were very small.

The door of the ancient Magic Culture Classroom was locked, and a note was posted on the door: The assessment location of the Magic Culture Club was changed to Classroom No. 7 on the same floor.

Below the text is a simple stroke, an abstract stickman waves to them to move forward.

"Has the location changed?" Harry looked at Hermione in wonder. Hermione shook her head, "I don't know either. Maybe it was a temporary change."

A voice appeared from behind, and it was a clean and clear voice, "Hello you guys?"

The three turned around, and a tall and thin boy stood behind them. He looked extremely handsome, with black hair and straight nose. Except for his pale face, he could hardly find any shortcomings.

He stretched out his hand and introduced himself: "I am Cedric, Cedric Diggory."

Harry also reached out, "I know you, Hufflepuff's finder and new captain, Wood mentioned you, and you were also very good in duel class. Oh, by the way, I'm Harry Potter."

Cedric smiled, "I can't compare with you. No one in the school doesn't know you, are these two friends?"

"Yes, this is Ron Weasley, this is Hermione Granger, both in third grade." Harry said that Ron and Hermione were introduced.

The two looked at Cedric curiously.

They walked towards Classroom 7 in groups. Ron and Hermione talked less because of strangers. Harry was not actually a talkative person, but he could talk to Cedric.

Harry looked for the topic: "Cedric, are you new to the team this year? I remember Hufflepuff's previous goalkeeper was a senior girl."

Cedric laughed, "I joined the team in the third grade, and this year is my third year."

Harry was a little embarrassed, he didn't remember that there was such a person in the Hufflepuff team.

Fortunately, Cedric explained his confusion: "I used to be a chasing player, but I left several old players all at once last year. It was difficult to find a suitable candidate for the ball player, so I came up to serve as the captain and form a new team..."

Harry understood a little, and Wood also mentioned in his previous conversation that Hufflepuff's new captain should not be underestimated, and he could never be a newcomer.

But no matter who his opponent is, he has the confidence to win and win the second Quidditch Cup.

The two then began to discuss the Quidditch tactics, which seemed very strange to Ron and Hermione. Hufflepuff's captain and Gryffindor's golfer discussed Quidditch. You should know that they are likely to become opponents in more than a month.

Cedric said: "To be honest, I was under a lot of pressure and was ordered to be in danger... I spent the whole summer vacation reading various tactical manuals. In the past, when I was a player, I didn't have to consider these."

Harry also remembered last year when Wood tried his best to explain various tactics with his players. When the finals approached, the twins thought Wood was a little hysterical and might "need to stay in the school hospital for two days."

Now he suddenly understood Wood.

Harry casually introduced several Quidditch books, which he saw during his entertainment last year, and he thought were useful. Cedric happily wrote down his name, "There is one I haven't heard of, thank you, Harry."

"Speaking of it," Harry asked, "Can you also be a captain when looking for a golfer? I've always been flying alone, and I may not take into account the situation on the court."

Cedric happened to see the content in this regard: "These are two different strategies. Some teams will do their best to ensure the freedom of flying of the ball seeker, not participate in the team's actions, and let him play. They think this will allow the golden thief to be discovered faster."

"Some teams need to find players to participate in the team's offense and defense from time to time."

Harry thought about it, "It sounds like the latter has higher requirements." Wood never asked him to organize defense. His only requirement for himself was to catch the Golden Flying Thieves as fast as possible.

"You can't say that," Cedric explained. "For the genius seeker, that is, you, Harry, you can end the game in half an hour. If you have a talent like you in my team, you will definitely give you absolute freedom, because it's hard to widen the 150-minute gap in such a short time."

Hearing this, Harry almost understood the similarities and differences between these two strategies.

Ron suddenly said from the side: "Harry's fastest time, he caught the Golden Snitch in just five minutes! He broke the school record."

Harry remembered a little embarrassedly that it was his record against Hufflepuff last year. He secretly glanced at Cedric. The new captain of Hufflepuff was indeed a little unhappy.

He hurriedly changed the subject and said, "Cedric, are you writing a paper too? To be honest, Professor Happ's requirements are too high for seven feet."

Cedric also followed his words: "I met the first requirement and roughly mastered thirty practical magic texts."

Turning through a dark corridor, Harry was delighted to find that they had finally found the hidden classroom of Class 7. He breathed a sigh of relief and finally no longer had to make any talk.

The classroom door was half open, and they looked into the room, and it was pitch black inside and there was no light.

"Are we going to the wrong place?" Harry asked. He felt very bad. He could think of a similar scene in the first grade. In order to avoid Felch, they accidentally entered the trap door entrance with the Philosopher's Stone.

At that time, they saw a big dog with only three heads. When the big dog stood up, the forehead in the middle could reach the ceiling. Later he learned that the three-headed dog was raised by Hagrid, and it also had a name called "Luwei".

"I don't think so." Hermione said, pointing to the note on the wall, which read "The Magic Wen Club recruits new assessment venue."

Several people looked at each other and walked in nervously.

Surprisingly, inside the room was a meadow with birds singing and flowers. They seemed to have traveled through the space and arrived in the depths of the forbidden forest.

After taking a few steps, they saw Professor Hayp-

He sat on the grass, with a small table standing in front of him. The professor seemed to have brought his tea set over and was drinking tea with great pleasure. In front of him were more than a dozen magic puppets, including men and women, old and young.

These magic puppets stood not far in front and were rehearsing a drama.

"Look, that's the East, and you're the Sun."
