Chapter 184 Dinner

"Harry! Harry! Are you okay?" Someone was slapping his face.

Harry opened his eyes. Everything returned to normal. The train continued to move forward, and the lights were on. He sat up from his seat, wiped the cold sweat from his forehead, and looked at the scene in the car in a daze.

Ron and Hermione were closest to him, Neville was looking at him with a worried look, Ginny curled up in the corner.

Lupin took out a plate of chocolate from his pocket and broke it apart and distributed it to everyone.

"This is yours, Harry. Plus, a very good disarming spell."

Harry took a large piece of chocolate and he suddenly asked, "Did I faint... No, has that woman been saved?"

"Who?" Lupin asked casually.

"It was when the weird thing wearing a turban came out. There was a woman who heard the sound of being an adult, she..." Harry suddenly said in a mess. There was only one adult woman on the train, the witch pushing a food cart.

But he didn't hear this sound.

Lupin's hand froze in place, and he muttered and left a sentence: "I'll go and say something to the driver, sorry..." He immediately left in a hurry.

The door slammed and closed.

"Harry?" Hermione looked at him worriedly.

He forced himself to calm down, sat back on his seat, took a bite of chocolate, and a warm current spread throughout his body, which made him feel happy back.

"Can anyone tell me what happened just now?" Harry asked.

"We felt the cold, as if we had fallen into an ice hole. Then we saw your spell, the dazzling red light... The cold faded a little, and then you fell to the ground. Professor Lupin said to someone: There is no Sirius Black hidden here. He raised his wand and emitted a silvery white light. Then the cold wave completely faded and the train continued to move." Hermione described what she saw.

Harry chewed chocolate silently. He actually didn't care much about this. He just wanted to learn clues about the female voice from other people, but the result disappointed him.

Everyone's expressions were not good-looking, Ginny sobbed in a low voice, and Neville murmured: "It's so scary, I remember the worst memories."

"It's like all happiness is leaving you," Ron continued, but he punched Harry: "Your spell is awesome, Harry! We can teach Malfoy a lesson, and when I think of him rolling out, I feel happiness is back."

"It's not my role..." Harry shook his head, and he cheered up again. "What is that cloak monster?"

"I guess it's the dementor. I've seen something like this in comic books, like a piece of rotten cloth without bones." Ron described it.

Harry looked at Hermione. Among the three, Ron was the most familiar with the magic world, but he had a very shallow understanding. Although most of Hermione's knowledge was seen from books, it could provide more accurate information.

Hermione introduced: "The dementors are the guards who are responsible for guarding Azkaban. They feed on positive human emotions, especially happy emotions. Conventional spells are ineffective against them. The only useful magic is known to be the patron spell."

"The patron saint? Is Professor Happ's Swift and Professor McGonagall's Cat?" Harry asked.

"That's right."

"That's right."

Hermione and Ron respectively said that Hermione had seen the patron saint of swifts, Ron had seen the patron saint of cats, and Harry was not unfamiliar with both.

No one spoke next, and after more than ten minutes, the train stopped.

But they didn't wait for Professor Lupin, "Go, he will remember to take his luggage."

hall.

Hagrid was dressed in a formal suit, with her hair and beard carefully taken care of: "How do I look, Felix?"

“…Excellent.”

Hagrid's eyes were filled with tears. He changed the umbrella in his hand to the left, took out a dirty handkerchief from his pocket, and wiped the corners of his eyes. "It's great... I've been looking forward to such a day."

Today, he will not only be appointed as a professor in the Fantastic Animal Protection Class, but also wash away the stigma Dumbledore submitted a complete chain of evidence, from the monsters in the secret room incident, the murderer, and Myrtle's own testimony. The Ministry of Magic had no reason to stop it and had to revoke the ban fifty years ago.

Hager was punished for being "suspected to kill Myrtle": expelled and broken wands, and some even suggested sending him to Azkaban, which was spared because of Dumbledore's mediation.

Now that the ban is lifted, he can use his wand openly.

Felix looked at the big red umbrella in his hand, "Is your wand hidden here? I've wanted to say it long ago, a great hidden idea."

Hagrid raised his hand, "Dumbledore repaired it for me. I have always been scruples, you know... In theory, my wand has been broken by the Ministry of Magic."

Felix looked at him with a strange expression, and he whispered: "Dumbledore has repaired your wand? The one that was broken?"

"He's such a versatile guy, right?" Haegel said happily.

"Yes, that's right." Felix echoed.

After a while, Hagrid walked out of the auditorium to welcome the freshmen, and the professors were doing their final preparations. Professor McGonagall was communicating with a kitchen house elf about the dinner.

"It's all ready, professor."

"Very good, thank you for your hard work."

Not long after, the wizards from the second to seventh grades rushed in. The auditorium was filled with people, and Felix felt that hundreds of baboons seemed to be clamoring with excitement.

But his eyes fell on a witch

He was wearing a shabby robe, with patches on the sides of his robe, suggesting his master's impoverishment; he looked exhausted, perhaps just getting rid of a trouble; his face was still young, but his brown hair was already covered with white hair...

Professor McGonagall walked to the witch, warmly welcomed him, and brought him to the teacher's seat.

A strong hatred gaze fell on the witch, and Felix saw the silver fork in Snape's hand bent in half.

Professor McGonagall introduced the other professors to the witch, but she deliberately avoided Snape.

Soon, she came to Felix.

"Felix, this is Remus Lupin, who was once my student. He is a very friendly and gentle person. You will get along well," said Professor McGonagall.

Felix and Lupin looked at each other, and a trace of exploration flashed in their eyes.

Felix curled his lips and stretched out his hand: "Hello, Professor Lupin, I heard Professor McGonagall mention you before. You should be her best student?"

Lupin also stretched out his hand, "I am just the most inconspicuous one. But on the train, I heard many rumors about Professor Hayp... "

"Hope isn't some weird statement."

"No, how could it be? I'm a little jealous of their praise for you."

The two of them held their hands together until Lupin took the initiative to release his hands.

Soon, Hagrid arrived with a freshman who was like a chicken. What surprised Felix was that it was not Professor McGonagall who presided over the branch ceremony. He looked around and did not see her.

Professor Flivie held a branch hat and a roll of parchment, and a small round stool floated behind him.

He passed by Xinsheng in turn. As the wand swung, the Xinsheng found that his wet clothes became dry and comfortable, as if they had been baked by the midday sun.

“Line in a row, come with me.”

The little wizards went forward according to their surnames and waited for the branch office, but the first thing they were greeted was the song carefully crafted by the branch office hat. The young freshmen watched the branch office hat singing emotionally in amazement.

This is perhaps the deepest impression Hogwarts has left on them so far.

The branch has begun

"Newman Barker."

“Gryffindor!”

"Oliver Dyner."

"Hufflepuff!"

“Grantham Welfare.”

"Ravenclaw!"

“Astoria Greengrass.”

"Slytherin!"

"Dennis Clivie."

“Gryffindor!”

...

At the end of the branch ceremony, Felix noticed Harry and Hermione slipping from the corner to Gryffindor's seat, and Professor McGonagall later appeared.

Principal Dumbledore then stood up and delivered a speech, his welcome speech as concise as ever.

After getting to the point, he seriously explained the existence of the Dementors, "They will be stationed at all entrances of the school to perform the official duties of the Ministry of Magic. During their stay, no one is allowed to leave the school without permission."

"Dementors do not accept any tricks and deceptions, including the Invisible Cloak, and they cannot distinguish legitimate reasons and excuses, so don't give them the chance to hurt you. The predecessors and the two student union presidents, you must make sure that no students do not conflict with the Dementors."

After the young wizards digested this message, Dumbledore happily introduced the two new professors, in his words

The former is "Professor Lupin who generously fills the gap in the Black Magic Defense Class", and the latter is "Ruber Hager, who is also a professor of the Fantastic Animal Protection Class in addition to fulfilling the duties of guarding the Forbidden Forests."

At the same time, Dumbledore expressed sympathy and apologies for the unjust injustice that Hegel suffered. "For half a century, we have ignored this and it is time to correct this mistake."

Hagrid stood up and waved excitedly, and a series of red sparks flew out of his red umbrella. The students responded enthusiastically, with applause from the Gryffindor seat.

"We should have known it long ago!" Ron yelled, pounding the table hard, "Who else would let us get a book that would bite people?"
