Chapter 180: The Commission of Phineas Black
Felix walked out of the La building, and it was already noon. He took the way to Xiaohongshu Book Company. To his surprise, his sample book "The Magic of the Muggle World" had been completed.
‘The efficiency is so fast, I don’t have to worry about it at all.’
As a serious popular science book, this book is in line with his first two Muggle research monographs and is expected to become a series.
At least that elegant lady in purple dress told him.
Felix also specifically asked about things he had not paid attention to before, such as how his books came out of Britain and sold all over the world.
From her answer, Felix realized that there are two ways to spread the book around the world. One is to get recommendations from the Ministry of Magic of the country, but in addition to the limited number of places, this method may also be boycotted by some countries because it is an official act; the other is to become a member of the International Federation of Wizards and Publishers.
The International Federation of Wizard Publishers, is a relatively loose international wizard organization with members of top publishers in different countries. It holds rallies every March and September to screen out some valuable books.
These lucky books will be taken to magic bookstores in different countries for sale.
Felix enjoyed this benefit without realizing it. For this, he expressed his gratitude again.
"Your book is excellent enough, Mr. Happ. For us, it's a win-win."
...
Felix returned to school, and many professors came back. Professor McGonagall and Frieve decorated the auditorium, and they were in a very happy mood. Professor McGonagall even hummed the tune.
The tall and burly Hagrid walked in with two three-meter-long pine trees. Frivi waved his wand gracefully, letting them stand in a corner of the auditorium and hang colorful paper tapes.
"Felix" Hagrid greeted roughly.
"Hagge, how is the lesson preparation situation?" Felix asked.
Hager said cheerfully: "It went smoothly. I went to the library to check a lot of information. I deliberately searched through the new books on the market. I dare say that the textbooks I chose were definitely interesting."
"I remember the textbooks for this course have always been "Where Are Fantastic Beasts?"
"Ah, that's the textbook for senior grades. I made a new attempt in third grade... You told me that innovation needs to find a test piece, and then promote it to the whole group if it succeeds."
"I'm looking forward to it, Hagrid."
Tomorrow is the start of school day, and the professors gathered on a square table to have dinner that evening. Even Professor Trelawney, who was in a misty place, came in wearing a gauze scarf.
She whispered to a house elf, "Get me some Sherry wine, my dear."
The elf stammered, "Okay, okay, ma'am."
Her figure disappeared, and soon she staggered in her arms holding a large wine bottle, "I'm sorry, I didn't find the small bottle, this one is the only one."
"Ha!" Trelawney's eyes lit up, "It's okay, this is not bad, it's very good."
"Do you want some?" She looked at Felix, shook the bottle, and the wine juice kept shaking.
"No, thank you." Felix politely refused.
Trelawney poured wine on her own, and Professor Bubaji next to her also drank a small glass.
Dumbledore appeared for the first time since meeting in France. He looked in a good mood and smiled and took a dish of tea pastry handed over by Flitvie. Felix thought it might be the reason why he had just gotten rid of a boring errand.
After dinner, he called Felix.
"Wait, Felix Nick has a few books, I'll bring them to you," Dumbledore said with a wink.
So the two came to the principal's office, and Dumbledore said in a brisk tone: "Wait, I put it on the bedside of the bedroom. When you are not here, I will take a look at some of it every day."
Felix nodded and watched him walk up the rotating steps and disappear into the second floor of the office.
"That's Dumbledore's bedroom. I wonder what it would be like?" he thought curiously.
The principal's office has not changed much. In this spacious circular room, there are various funny little sounds: the phoenix Fox on the gilded branches breathes rhythmically, the silverware on the table with slender legs whirling makes trivial sounds, and the snoring sounds made by the portraits of previous principals on the wall.
Felix stared at the branch hat lying quietly on the partition, hesitating whether to pick it up and study it.
"Hey, Slytherin's boy!" said an uncomfortable voice.
Felix turned his head and looked over. It was a portrait on the wall. At the bottom of the portrait, there were a line of small gold-toned flower characters written.
‘Phoenas Nigerus Black, from 1847 to 1925, graduated from Slytherin College.’
Felix asked, "Principal Black, are you calling me?"
The portrait in the portrait hummed, "Or what if there are other living people in this room?" His goatee was raised and his eyebrows were slender, which looked very unpleasant.
At this moment, he reached out and stomped on the photo frame, "Get closer, I have something to tell you," Seeing Felix stopping in place unmoved, his tone became anxious: "It's good for you!"
Felix was full of doubts, and it was not his turn to benefit, but he still walked to Principal Black's portrait.
The snoring in other portraits disappeared, and they either opened their eyes open and looked at them generously, or half-squinted, closely watching their interactions.
But Principal Black didn't say anything, and he might not be able to do anything even if he was dissatisfied with him. So he whispered as much as possible: "Have you heard the name Sirius Black?"
"I heard that he is now a celebrity and escaped from Azkaban three weeks ago," Felix said.
Principal Black was choked and said with some shame: "That is a descendant of the noble Black family, my great-grandson!"
"oh."
"What do you mean, bad boy?" Principal Black whispered, but then he said sly: "We are all Slytherin, kids, I know what you think..."
"Listen, the Black family has a long history and the old house has a rich collection of books. It's not comparable to those rags from Hogwarts. Do you want it? Do one thing for me."
"What's up?"
"Bring him to me, not this me, but another portrait, remember, No. 12, Grimo Square."
Felix was very interested in the Black family's collection of books, but he tentatively tentatively, "Don't tell me that the old house of one of the 28 pure blood families has no defense."
"Listen to me, don't interrupt me, time is limited! You will find it, I believe you can do it, but, you need something unique to the noble Black family... Oh, Dumbledore! When will you come back?"
Felix turned around suddenly, Dumbledore had appeared at the handrail on the second floor, standing with two books in his arms and expressionless face.
"It was early, when you admitted that Sirius Black was your great-grandson." Dumbledore walked down the steps, and he turned against the light, making people unable to see his eyes clearly, and only his powerful voice was heard: "Phenias, we have discussed...he committed an unforgivable crime."
The portrait of Principal Black shouted loudly: "Dumbledore, he is the last descendant of the Black family!"
But Dumbledore also raised the volume: "...betrayed his best friend, and he also killed thirteen people, one of whom was also a close friend he had been with for ten years. Do you know his ending, Phineas? The staff on the scene could only find one of Peter's fingers and blood-stained pieces of clothes."
The old man walked up to the portrait and said in a cold tone that every wrinkle of his body contained anger. "And now, he has escaped from prison, fantasizing about helping his old master regain his strength, and killing his godson as a godfather!"
