Chapter 137: Two Memories

There was silence in the office.

The exquisite silverware placed at the corner of the table was rotating, spewing out small waves of smoke, making a "tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-

"Your testimony is very useful, Felix," Dumbledore said, staring at the diary with his eyes under his thick silver eyebrows in thought, "He's even more crazy than I thought."

"You said Voldemort?"

"I would rather call him Tom Riddle, his original name. He never shy away from this when he was in school. The professors would not call him "Riddle", but would affectionately call him Tom," Dumbledore explained.

Felix thought, it seemed that Voldemort was much more comfortable when he went to school.

"Is it because he made more than one Horcrux?" Felix asked.

"Yes, Felix. This magic is even more evil than you think. It gains immortality by splitting the soul-"

"President Dumbledore, I'm not interested in this." Felix interrupted, "Do you have any other questions?"

Dumbledore blinked and smiled with a relieved smile: "Felix, you know more about restraint than I am younger than me...I do have another problem."

He folded his hands on the table, "I want to know more about the time the Horcrux was damaged."

Felix had expected this, and it happened that he had two things to let Dumbledore know. So he turned around and looked at the black cabinet behind him, "Why don't you see it yourself, Dumbledore?"

He turned around and saw Dumbledore's surprised gaze.

The old man said: "You mean, meditation pot? Many wizards avoid this..." This was a reaction he had never expected.

"Yes, I saw it last time I came, and the cabinet was not closed at that time," Felix explained. "As for taboos? I do taboos, but I personally think that since Voldemort is not dead, he will come back one day, and you are the person he fears the most."

Dumbledore shook his head, his old face was already covered with wrinkles: "Felix, I'm old." He waved his hand, the black cabinet door opened, and a shallow stone basin flew out smoothly and landed on the table in front of them.

Felix carefully looked at the meditation pot, which was ancient and rare. The pot has strange carvings: they were all kinds of mysterious letters and symbols.

He could identify some, but more were in the blind spots of his knowledge.

In the meditation basin was a pool of silver, a bit like bright silver, but it was flowing constantly. Felix pulled out his wand and touched it gently with the tip of the wand, and the silver light rotated softly.

Then he pressed his wand on his forehead and Dumbledore said softly: "Felix, I must thank you for your trust in me."

Felix showed a mischievous smile: "Oh, Principal Dumbledore, I will only show you the most critical memories. I will hide some privacy things well-even if you put your nose on someone's face, you will not gain anything."

Dumbledore smiled happily for the first time tonight.

A ray of silver-shining filaments was pulled out and added to the meditation basin. Felix stirred it with his wand, allowing the filaments to melt into the silver light.

The two of them reached out their hands at the same time. When their fingertips touched the silver light in the basin, the huge attraction was pulled. They did not resist and fell into the meditation basin.

The first memory is very short-

An elf fell to the ground, and ‘Felix’ summoned the Lihuo sword and pointed it straight into the diary.

The Horcrux cried out before his death: "No, I can tell you the secret of defeating death--"

But "Felix" did not hesitate at all, and controlled the sword and penetrated the Horcrux directly, and the sound came to an abrupt end.

This memory ends here.

The figures of the two appeared in the office again, Dumbledore's expression was very complicated, and there was an inexplicable sense of relaxation.

He looked at Felix: "I am proud of your choice. In the war years, many famous wizards were easily bewitched by him, let alone the secret of his victory over death."

Dumbledore did not mention why Felix could practice the Scarlet Curse to this level.

Other times, he might also advise Felix not to appear too deep, but now, compared to the secret of rejecting the Horcrux, these are simply irrelevant.

And that's the first thing Felix wanted to tell Dumbledore.

Next is the second memory—

In a pure white space, the magic of ice blue and bronze intertwined into a huge vortex, constantly tearing the crown, and strands of black air overflowed from the crown.

Dumbledore looked at a strange look not far away, opposite to "Felix", a beautiful and serious witch, with Helena holding her together, and they were saying something, but Dumbledore could not hear anything, and even his face was blurred.

"Is this what you mean by privacy?"

"We're discussing my magical path." Felix said briefly.

Dumbledore closed his mouth tightly. This kind of thing was the secret of the powerful wizard. He turned to the vortex in the air and exclaimed.

After a while, a blurry face rushed out of the crown and was immediately completely shattered by the vortex.

Dumbledore sighed with emotion, but he found that the two had not left their memory. After a while, he heard the only sentence in the whole memory.

That's what Ms. Royna Ravenclaw said to Felix, "I will recreate the crown as your reward."

This sentence echoes constantly in the empty white space.

Dumbledore looked at Felix on the side speechlessly, and he nodded in agreement. The next second, the memory ended.

The air in the office was quiet and no one spoke first.

After a while, Dumbledore said helplessly: "I understand what you mean. The crown belongs to you. No one can take it away. If someone else has objections, I will testify for you."

Felix smiled brightly, "Thank you so much, Principal Dumbledore, I have always been worried that some unsightly school directors or Minister of Magic will cause me trouble."

While speaking, Felix nimblely picked out his memories with his wand and let them completely dissipate.

Dumbledore suddenly felt a slight congestion, and he waved his hand, "Take the crown away."

Felix politely offered his farewell and turned and left.

Walking out of the office, he smiled satisfied and all the expected goals were accomplished.

His main goals are three: one is how to intersperse the diary into his version of the story, and the other is how to dispel Dumbledore's possible doubts: What if Felix becomes interested in the Horcrux? The third is the ownership of the crown, and he does not want to make any concessions on ownership.

So after he finished telling the story, he took the opportunity to throw out two memories, corresponding to the second and third goals. Among them, the second goal is the most important.

The reason he was so careful was that he knew Dumbledore had concerns about him, worried that he would go to darkness and become the next Dark Lord.

And what's even more terrifying is that Dumbledore is over one hundred years old and he cannot bear the price of wrong judgment. What about Felix? He is only 22 years old, far from reaching his peak.

Judging from past events, Felix fully understands this concern.

So he could only spend more time fighting with the old principal to dispel his doubts.
