Chapter 107: Spell Level?

"Teacher, professor, how do you judge your best mantra?" asked a Slytherin student.

Snape said coldly: "The ones you learn the fastest and use the best. Besides-"

"If you can invent a spell yourself, it is naturally your best." After saying that, he shook his robe and walked off the stage with great strides.

In the audience, Ron and Hermione looked at Harry at the same time, and their eyes were different:

Hermione: So what you are good at is the disarming spell?

Ron: That's it? It must be a high-level curse, right?

When Felix stood on the stage, the little wizards were still immersed in the atmosphere created by Snape. Although he did not talk about any specific magic, it was still moving.

Felix decided to bring out some real stuff.

"At the end of last class, we mentioned a point: Even with the same spell, the effects released by different wizards may be very different."

"This situation is particularly evident in duels, after all, it's hard to imagine that a wizard would spend a lot of time and effort studying the spell of 'cleaning up'."

"The same is true for most life magic. We will not use them to explore the mysteries of magic, or beat our opponents to the ground for teeth." Felix joked.

The little wizard in the audience burst into laughter.

"For wizards who are good at duels, they have amazing achievements in some, or some magic."

He glanced at the wizards below the stage: "Take the disarm curse as an example-"

Felix waved his wand, and a slender red light flashed away.

“This is a level of initial mastery.”

Harry looked at it seriously, which was exactly how much he could release now.

Many young wizards who have mastered the disarming curse do the same thing. The result of comparison is that most people are at this level.

"——This stage is at the level of a novice, and there is a possibility of failure in casting a spell." Speaking of this, Felix said with a little distress: "For the sake of understanding and comparison, let's call it a level one spell."

"At this time, the factors that affect the success rate of mantra casting are your basic content such as spell casting actions, chanting mantras, confidence, magic mobilization, etc. I won't expand it, there is a detailed description in the materials of the last class."

"And when you practice more often, practice makes perfect, and there is almost no release failure, just like this-"

Felix waved his wand and a distinct red light shone over the auditorium.

Harry heard his senior, Abbott Barker, who had just been called to present, and said in an excited voice: "This is my curse!"

"For the sake of easy understanding, we can call it a second-level curse."

Felix casually drew arcs with his magic wand, as if he was directing a symphony.

"On this basis, you have invested more time and energy to study the spell - it is best to have the guidance of a teacher, and its power will be appropriately enhanced."

Felix waved his wand, and a red beam of light as thick as a finger shot out, crossing half of the auditorium in an instant.

"This is a level three disarming curse... a horizontal analogy, which is like the threshold for professionalization in the magic world, such as the new Saint Mungo doctor who has just experienced training and the new Auror."

The little wizards stared at Professor Happ intently and listened carefully to every word he said. They intuitively believed that today's class was very important.

Even the expressions of several professors became serious. Snape was curious about how far would Felix push the spell?

Curse grading, hehe, it's something he will do!

Felix on the stage still said slowly, "Next, your understanding of the spell becomes more and more profound, and you can even make some changes to the spell itself to adapt to your personal habits-"

A beam of light flew out from the tip of the staff, but this time the spell was more condensed, and the color was mixed with white light, leaving a clear arc in the air.

"The power is not much different from the third level spell, but it is more controllable. Winning in subtleties can be called a fourth level spell." Felix said, "To say more, this is also the level of spells that talented Aurors and St. Mungo doctors are best at after working for a few years."

Felix nodded slightly. From here, not everyone can do it. Talent, perseverance, and teaching are indispensable.

Harry looked at Professor Happ on the stage and felt breathless. After a while, he realized that the emotions that had just surged into his heart were desire.

After a long pause, the little wizard looked at Professor Happ with eager eyes.

Is there any more? Can you continue?

Level 5 curse? Level 6? Level 789? I am really curious!

Professor Happ lived up to expectations and continued: "Above this, if you are a veteran Auror and have spent almost half your life dealing with various dark wizards, then the spell you are best at is probably like this-"

The scene was like yesterday when a spell of wrist-she shot out, spanning half of the auditorium and hitting straight against the walls of the castle.

The red magic arc that looked like thunder continued to twist and extend.

Until Felix took back his wand, the red light that had reflected half of the auditorium finally disappeared.

"This may be called a level five curse."

The little wizards in the audience watched this scene speechlessly. Even if they saw it for the second time, they were still very shocked.

Felix thought, just like Lockhart's "All Forgets are Empty". But this is not the case, because Lockhart was lucky to receive the gift of ancient magic.

Ancient magic is naturally powerful, but it is meaningless to discuss power, because you don’t know if you will suddenly lose control due to insufficient control when you use it next time.

The little wizards in the audience were quiet, like a group of quails swept by the strong wind. Looking at their expressions, it seemed that someone had just knocked their heads and stuffed a bunch of messy things into them, which made them completely unable to think.

After more than ten seconds, Felix clapped his palms, "Of course, the above spell levels are just for your understanding. There is no such way to divide the first and second level spells in reality."

"Magic is unrestrained, and it doesn't make sense to divide many magical magic by level."

"And, I must remind you that even in duels, one-sided pursuit of the power of the spell is not the best choice. If you want to be an Auror, you need to master a lot of things, and they are equally important."

"Next-"

But these words did not work. The auditorium seemed to be in an uproar. The little wizards raised their hands enthusiastically, and it could be seen that they had many problems.
