Chapter Fourteen
When I arrived at school, I sent the hare directly over, but I didn't know that Principal Zhao didn't want anything.
After refusing several times, I was anxious and said, "Master, I took this to me by placing wires last night. I took it from afar. You can't let me carry it back."
Principal Zhao saw that he refused, so he had to ask his wife to take it away and then take me to the study.
"I'm all the things left by my ancestors. You can pick a few books to go back and take a look. There is no harm in reading more books, you can broaden your horizons." After saying that, Professor Zhao stood up and left.
After seeing Mr. Zhao’s study, my only feeling was that there were so many books, and the whole room was filled with dense crowds.
"Oracle Bone Research" and "Bronze Age"... I went through the study alone, and many books were put back in the original place when I saw the names. I just looked over in rows, and finally I flipped through two books about practicing Taoism in the corner of the bookshelf. This is what I wanted. With them, I believe that many of the nouns in the Taoist sect can be understood.
"The Examination and Interpretation of Huangting Jing" and "Annotations of Dadong Jing"... Why do you want to read such books?" Principal Zhao was surprised to see me take out these two books.
"I just want to flip through it casually and kill time," I replied.
"Is this kind of book suitable for you to read now..." Professor Zhao originally wanted me to put it back, and then nodded, "It's okay to see."
I was confused by reading... The description of Yin Shen in "Daozang" is fundamentally different from the other two books.
Even the descriptions in those two books are very different. The "Explanation of Huangting Jing" writes that "there are gods in all sections of Niwan", while the "Annotation of the Dadong True Sutra" says that "there are 18,000 yang gods outside the body and 18,000 yin gods inside the body."
I originally wanted to solve my own questions through these two books, but I didn't expect that the questions would not decrease but increase.
I feel that I need a master, otherwise if I continue practicing like this, I may find a problem when it will happen.
So when Mr. Zhao guided me to practice Baguazhang, I asked, "Master, do you know what is going on in practicing Taoism?" There are many annotations in the two books I borrowed. I don't know if it was written by him, but at present there is only such a person to ask.
Principal Zhao suddenly fell silent and stared at me for a few seconds. Just when I felt uncomfortable, he asked back: "Have you read the novel "The Legend of the Condor Heroes" written by Jin Yong?"
"I have read it, but I haven't finished it." I also looked at the popular martial arts novels in the class some time ago, but I was not very interested.
"Oh, then you should know the Seven Heroes of Wudang. They are Zhang Sanfeng's disciples, one of which is named Zhang Songxi. Zhang Songxi really exists in history, and is considered to be mysterious and skilled in martial arts. In his later years, he deliberately left his family's disciples in order to pursue the immortal path. Before leaving, he wrote a letter to his disciples, which roughly means that there are many myths about martial arts confirming the immortal path, but there are no clear examples of clear verification. Zhang Songxi is preparing to use martial arts to prove the Tao to see if the immortal path exists. He opened a cave on the mountain, and then closed the cave to practice, so that his disciples could verify it five years later to see if he became an immortal."
"How was the result?" I was curious when I heard this.
"Five years later, several disciples of Zhang Songxi came to the cave of the Immortality as mentioned in his letter. After opening the stone slabs that closed the cave, they found insects, snakes, rats and ants everywhere inside, and the air was dirty. There was a skeleton remaining on a large stone. It was barely recognized from the clothes worn by the skeleton. After careful searching, the disciples found that four big words were written on the stone with the power of the Vajra fingers - "The way of immortality is no basis"!"
"What?!" I was stunned here, never expected such a result. How could it be without a limit? I have clearly reached the level of Yin God leaving the body.
"Su Hao, the Taoist practitioner said, 'Human nature dies, Taoist nature lives! Love dies, Taoist love lives!'" Principal Zhao's face became serious. "This kind of thought is ridiculous, ethereal and nothingness. I don't know how many people have tried to practice Taoism and become immortals throughout the ages. No one has truly achieved enlightenment and has been proven. Most of them are spread by rumors. Zhang Songxi is an example. Look at those Taoist books, each of which is different. These are all imagined by secular people. Don't go astray."
Saying these words to a teenage child is too heavy and profound. Perhaps he did not regard me as an ordinary child through this period of time, or he felt that the thoughts I had come up with were dangerous and wanted to kill them in the bud.
After leaving the playground, my brain was still in a daze.
If the legends of cultivating immortals and achieving enlightenment in the world are all scams, what is going on in the scissors and magic weapons in my body, and the Yin God leaving the body? But if it is true, why does the immortals not exist in reality?
These two answers were tossed and turned in my mind, and the more I thought about it, the more confused I became. My head seemed to be filled with mucus, and my mouth, nose and eyes became slow to react to the outside world, just like hysteria in the countryside.
During class, the Chinese teacher said on the podium with a dry mouth. I stared at the front with my eyes and turned a deaf ear, and didn't even respond to the teacher's name.
It was still my deskmate who pushed me, and then I stood up and asked, "What are you doing?"
The classmate in the class burst into laughter, and the Chinese teacher suppressed his anger and asked, "What do you mean by explaining to me, 'What is the blessing of 'Sai'?"
"The Tao can be told, it is very good." A very philosophical sentence appeared in my mouth.
The students around were stunned for a moment and burst into laughter again.
"You said, "You're so big, go out for me." The Chinese teacher couldn't bear it anymore and finally drove me out of the classroom and stood there.
Standing in the corridor, I was not worried about my situation at all, and I was still confused about the existence of immortals in my mind.
I stood for a whole class until my knees were a little sore and the bell rang. The Chinese teacher walked out of the classroom and asked again when he passed by me: "Now you know what is 'a blessing that is wrong'?"
"A name can be named, it is very famous." I replied again.
The Chinese teacher left without looking back. He really didn't plan to care about me anymore this time.
What I didn't expect was that these two philosophical answers were circulating quickly in the class. I dared to contradict the teacher, and everyone was impressed by me now.
When I was in class again, I found a note on the table with the words: "What's wrong with you? Are you feeling uncomfortable? If you feel uncomfortable, please leave and see a doctor, don't hold on." The signature is Lin Qingqing.
This made me feel a little warm. In this class, there are still people who care about me.
I turned around and smiled at her, and my mind continued to wander around.
I practice Baguazhang on the roof at night, and I made my steps wrong several times. I sat cross-legged and couldn't concentrate.
In desperation, I stopped practicing and returned to the dormitory to sleep in depressed manner.
I have doubts about what I insist on... I know that if this problem cannot be solved, my career in Taoism will come to an end.
