There are always some common ground. However, the amount of knowledge and whether you can understand it is not about common ground. It is purely about knowledge reserves.
The second condition is the same as the main line, that is, the path mentioned above is the same. For example, two Taoists study literature and the other study theory. You are analyzing whether something is worth it from the perspective of emotion, while I am analyzing whether something is worth it from the perspective of rationality.
