Two years later, on May 1, the Xu Xingchen Battleship Museum was officially opened on Batam Island opposite the Lion City.

Of course, this is just the first phase of the project. Compared with other cultural relics, the warships are really huge. Each one is like a building, so the area required is very large.

Xu Xingchen set out all the large and small islands centered on Batam as the reserve land for museums, and built a large number of docks on the long coastline of these islands.

All local residents either stayed behind to become workers who built museums or migrated to other islands.

After more than three years of construction, the main venue of the museum has been completed. Sixteen huge docks have been built in the northern bay of Batam Island, as well as more than 60 large and large docks.

There are three properties of warships entering the museum.

The first one is a truly retired one. This one will be placed in a dedicated protective dock and will not move in the future except for maintenance.

The second type is still in service, but it has been listed as a reserve. This kind of ship is usually parked on a fixed dock for people to visit, and it will be inspected and driven away when necessary.

The third type is the normal service warships. They will take turns driving in, park at several incompletely fixed docks for people to visit, and will also be on duty in the fleet most of the time.

All the warships built by Xu Xingchen in this world are located in the museum, but because they are all new ships, most of them are just the second and third states.

Among the truly retired warships that became cultural relics, the first batch were the old ships of their own homes in that era.

There are Yixian, Pinghai, Ninghai, and old ships who were taken back from the rooster, and Haiqi, Yingrui and others who were sunk in the river mouth and were now salvaged by the ship girls.

Xu Xingchen is preparing to restore a Zheng He treasure ship as an exhibition at the core of the entrance of the entire museum. However, the restoration period of this kind of thing is very long and is still under planning.

Then there are the retired old ships sent by the bald eagle, the woolen chicken, the Russian, the Italian, the German, the foot basin and other fleets.

The bigwigs in these major regions have a good relationship with Xu Xingchen, or they are already directly controlled by Xu Xingchen.

When Xu Xingchen's museum was built on a large scale, he took the initiative to pick the old ship that should have been retired and sent it to the museum. If he was controlled, he would choose the ones he was in charge.

Among these old ships, the largest size is the Bald Eagle's Saratoga aircraft carrier.

Before Midway was born, the world's largest aircraft carrier with the largest displacement was placed in a very conspicuous position, and together with the Langley, it was placed in the same special dock.

Then there is each traditional battleship from the World War I era. The German warship was fished out from Scapa Bay.

Then there are traditional cruisers, destroyers, submarines and torpedo boats delivered by each company.

Among these ships, the largest proportion is the one who brought Ying. After the war, the official organization of Ying was replaced. The strategy changed significantly and military expenses began to be quickly cut.

Most of the warships that were originally allowed to be dismantled by themselves in history were purchased and put into the museum according to the agreement between Qiu Fatty and Xu Xingchen.

For example, four Queen Elizabeth-class battleships, including war-weariness, the USS Awesome aircraft carrier, and a large number of cruisers and destroyers.

After that, there were still usable ships such as Yamato, Venetto, Tirbitz, Schánhorst, Hippel, Germany, etc. seized by Xu Xingchen. One ship was also placed in at each level and parked on the special dock in the form of a reserve.

On the day the museum opened, Xu Xingchen invited official leaders, naval leaders, designers and engineers from all over the world, as well as a large number of retired naval officers and soldiers to visit.

Most of the ships in the Nanyang Fleet and the navy of various organizations sent a fleet to park on the display dock outside to help the museum.

After the grand and lively ceremony, guests from all over the world began to visit everywhere, while Xu Xingchen and several bigwigs went to the conference room.
