Chapter 527 Research Association

Chris wore a shirt on top, two buttons of the shirt were released, a cowboy hat on his head, a pair of jeans underneath, and at least a pair of leather shoes instead of cowboy boots on his feet.

Yang Yi frowned and said, "Are you going to go to the Anderson Research Association in this way?"

Chris spoke at least two beats slower than his normal speaking speed, and he slowly said, "I'm from Texan."

Yang Yi spread his hands and said, "Not all Texans look like this, at least they will change their outfits when they go abroad to explore the market, right?"

Chris shook his head and said in his slow tone: "But that's how I am."

Yang Yi couldn't help but say, "How did you speak so slowly?"

"Ah, I once pretended to be a Texan."

Yang Yi exhaled and said, "Take off your hat, everything else is fine, just go like this."

Chris took off his hat and said slowly: "What a pity, it's hard for me to buy this hat."

Ignoring Chris' complaint, Yang Yi said in a deep voice: "If you are ready, go, remember to create more opportunities for future contact."

Chris made a reassuring gesture, and then he got up and walked out of the room.

After leaving the hotel, Chris walked towards the building where the Anderson Research Society was located. He entered the elevator, went up to the ninth floor, and then pushed open the glass door of the Anderson Research Society.

A local female front desk saw Chris stepping up after entering the door and said in English: "Hello, is there anything that can help you?"

Chris stood in front of the reception desk, and subconsciously scratched his head, and slowly said, "Ah, I want to consult some things. I heard that you are very familiar with the business environment in the entire East Asia. Uh, I want to consult some import and export trade issues."

The receptionist said very politely: "Where are you engaged in that aspect of business? For example, machinery or electronic products."

"Meat products are mainly frozen meat and beef."

"Okay, Mr. Kyle Chandler is very familiar with international trade, he is also very familiar with Korean laws and rules, and he just has time now, would you like to talk to Mr. Chandler?"

Chris nodded happily and said, "Okay, thank you."

The receptionist picked up the phone, and after a moment she whispered: "Mr. Chandler, there is a gentleman who wants to ask about international trade issues. He has not made an appointment. Do you have time to talk to him?"

Putting down the phone, the receptionist smiled at Chris and said, "Please come with me, sir."

The office area is very large, but there is no cubicle like an ordinary company. No one is concentrated in a public area here, but everyone has their own office, because the Anderson Research Association occupies a floor, with a large place, but few employees.

The receptionist stood in front of an office door. She knocked on the door. After hearing the sound in the room, she immediately opened the door and smiled at Chris and said, "Please."

Chris walked in, a large office, and behind a huge desk was a middle-aged man.

"Hello, I'm Kyle Chandler, I'm glad to see you."

Kyle Chandler looks in his fifties, wearing glasses, and even though he is also in a suit and ties, he doesn't have the shrewdness of many businessmen, but he gives people the feeling of a scholar.

Kyle Chandler walked around the desk, Chris shook his hands vigorously and said, "My name is Jonah Hill, I'm from Texas, I'm very happy to see you."

After letting go of his hand, Chris reached into his pocket, but he quickly took his hand out again and said with awkward look: "I didn't bring a business card, but, uh, today isn't a formal meeting, right?"

Kyle smiled and said, "That's right, just chat casually, please sit down."

Chris sat on the sofa next to him, and then he immediately crossed his legs casually. Then he slowly said: "I am from Texas, Bastrop, a small town, close to Austin. He runs several small slaughterhouses and a meat processing factory. He produces about 100,000 cattle and 50,000 pigs every year. Uh, I also have my own ranch, but most of the beef cattle are from other ranches. I am looking for new markets that can be opened up. Everyone says that China is a huge market, but due to tariffs and freight, our beef is too expensive in the Chinese market. Then someone said that I should come to this country to see, so I came."

Kyle Chandler smiled and said, "A hundred thousand cows are slaughtered every year? That's already huge."

Chris waved his hand repeatedly and said, "Not big, not big. The slaughterhouse in Denmark's Crown can kill 100,000 pigs in a week. That's the slaughterhouse. But even so, my production scale is gradually shrinking, and the Texas market has been saturated. It's hard for me to increase the slaughter on a large scale, so I wanted to look farther, so I came here."

Kyle Chandler said with interest: "So do you want to export beef here?"

Chris nodded and said, "Yes, I want to try it, but I'm not very good at this. Then I stayed in a hotel opposite your company, and I saw the sign hanging on this building. When I searched for influential consulting companies online, I also saw the name of your company. I thought maybe this is God's will, so I came to my door, haha."

Kyle Chandler smiled and said, "Actually, we are an international relations research association, not a consulting company, but it is the right choice for you to consult us, because international trade relations are one of our main research directions, so as long as you join the association, we can help you."

After explaining it, Kyle Chandler said in a deep voice: "First of all, I would like to ask what your target is? How much export volume do you hope to achieve?"

Chris said without hesitation: "I don't need too much at the beginning, it's 10,000 tons a year. If it's less, it's meaningless."

Kyle Chandler smiled and said, "This is a big goal, because it is not Texas, nor the United States, but your goal is not unachievable."

Chris said: "Oh, how do you do it?"

Kyle Chandler smiled and said, "If you join the club, we will help you do all the work. We are not an import and export company, but we have connections here and are familiar with the business environment of this country."

Chris said with interest: "I mean, how should I join the association, and how much is the membership fee?"

"Appointment requires an application, and we will conduct an inspection. After the inspection is passed, you can enter the association. As for the membership fee, it is $500,000 a year."
