Chapter 16(1/2)

With the money, on the eighth day of the March, the Cao family agreed to Han Jiang’s proposal. Because Cao Zhenzhu’s belly couldn’t wait, the wedding date was scheduled to be at the end of April.

After getting married, it was about to plant it in spring. The Han family has four acres of medium-sized fields, four acres of low-sized fields that they have cultivated by themselves, half of which are peanuts and half are corn.

Han Yue is a person who will plan everything in advance. Before spring planting, he took his second brother Han Jiang to the river to pull the sand and soil for building a house. When the stones came home, the two brothers also went to the mountain to cut all the wood they needed to use. Han Yue planned to go to the mountain for two days to plant a good land together. After finishing the work in the field, the third brother continued to study, and he and his second brother focused on building a house.

In previous years, Han Yue and Han Jiang would go to help the rich man farm and earn some pocket money, and there was no time this year.

But just when every family was busy farming, Hu suddenly ran over and asked his prospective son-in-law Han Jiang to help the Cao family farm. The reason was that Cao's father was sick. She dared not use Cao Zhenzhu, who could work in previous years, and only she and two young sons were left. Who wouldn't find the prospective son-in-law to help? Han Jiang had just hesitated, and Hu immediately said that he would not go, and she continued to use her daughter.

Han Jiang had no choice but to go to the Cao family with a stern face. The Cao family had not yet cultivated its land. Han Jiang said he had to be there for two days.

Chen Jiao secretly watched and found that Han Yue's face should have been darker than charcoal after Han Jiang was called away by Hu.

Since the two families said they had kissed, Han Yue never smiled much, and even worse, he was not in the mood to hug her at night.

Of course Chen Jiao didn't mind that, but she couldn't see Han Yue's sad face, and she felt tired.

"I'll go to the field with you, too." Chen Jiao had never been to the field, but she had learned to eat at the farm. It shouldn't matter if she went to the field to do something within her ability.

Han Yue looked at her tender skin like jade tofu and said, "Just go with my third brother, you can deliver us lunch."

After saying that, he took the third brother Han Xu out.

Chen Jiao was like a young farmer's wife, feeding pigs first and then chickens. After finishing her work, Chen Jiao felt less and less uncomfortable when she thought about it. She locked the door and went back to her parents' home.

"Do you want to learn farming?" Tian asked his daughter in surprise.

Chen Jiao nodded and acted coquettishly and asked her mother to teach her.

Tian took his daughter to his own land. The Lin family hired short-term workers to help with ten acres of land. Some of the short-term workers had cultivated land and some sowed seeds. The farmers and their wives clearly divided the labor. The daughter-in-law and daughter mainly helped with sowing seeds. Tian handed his daughter a small pot filled with peanut seeds and gave them careful guidance.

Maybe it was just getting started, Chen Jiao felt that this job was not tiring at all. The seeds were sprinkled into the soil and then stepped on them gently, which was quite fun.

"Mom, I can do it!"

Chen Jiao said happily.

Tian smiled: "Okay, then go and help Han Yue and the other brothers. My mother will go to the town later and bring you two kilograms of meat. The men are tired these days, so eat better."

The mother and the mother returned to the village together. Before Tian went to the town, she sent her daughter to the Han family's place.

In the ground, Han Yue and Han Jiang were purging their heads to plow the land. There was no cow at home, so they couldn't borrow it now. The two brothers pulled one in front and the other pushed the other in the back, and plowed out the ridges of the fields first.

"Mom, go and do your business." The two brothers turned their backs to this side, and Chen Jiao scooped out a pot of peanut seeds from the bag placed on the ground and said softly to her mother.

"We are so sensible." Tian patted his daughter with relief and went to the town to buy meat.

Chen Jiao lit the seed silently, and the petite woman walked steadily along the ridge of the fields. She didn't say anything, but the Han brothers found it.

A ridge plowed to the opposite land, Han Jiang turned around first, and then was stunned.

Han Yue had just transferred the heavy plow over. As soon as he looked up, he saw the petite lady who was already in the middle of her home. She wore a white shirt and green skirt, and an old straw hat made of wheat straw on her head. She lowered her head intently, held the wooden basin with her left hand and pressed the peanuts with her right hand and sprinkled them on the ground.

Compared with other people's daughter-in-law, the petite lady ordered the seeds very slowly, meticulous and elegant, as if a lady was walking, but Han Yue was shocked. In the first month of the year, she didn't even know that she was peeling peanuts to keep seeds. Now she can actually work?

"Brother, my sister-in-law is so nice to us." Han Xu said with a silly smile. He knew that the farm daughter-in-law should do these things, and there was nothing to praise, but he had seen the sister-in-law's spoiledness and clumsiness with his own eyes. Even cooking was taught by the brother, and he had also seen the sister-in-law's delicate face and beauty that were selected from thousands of miles apart. Now that the sister-in-law is willing to go to the ground to help, Han Xu was very moved.

But Han Yue withdrew his gaze and said lightly: "Let's go ahead."

The two brothers straightened the plowshare and started a stalk next to the plow.

The two brothers walked north and Chen Jiao went south and met soon.

"Sister-in-law." Han Xu called out with a smile.

Chen Jiao nodded and looked at her husband with peach blossom eyes.

Han Yue glanced at the seeds she had ordered. The distance between the two seeds was just right, so he looked at her and asked, "Who did you learn from?"

Chen Jiao deliberately showed off: "I have been able to do it since I was a child."

Under the straw hat, the petite lady's face was flushed, and her pair of peach blossom eyes were beautifully like the stars at night.

Han Yue suddenly laughed, revealing two rows of white teeth.

He hasn't smiled for more than ten days, let alone smile so brightly.

Chen Jiao was surprised at first, then she was so guilty that she was laughing at her. Her eyes drooped and she continued to work hard on her own.

Han Yue let out a long sigh, and the troubles accumulated in his heart seemed to be no longer important.

He became more and more vigorous as he fucked. After Chen Jiao clicked a long ridge, her small waist became slight sour. When he clicked another one, it became even more sour.

Chen Jiao finally realized the hard work of the farmer's daughter-in-law. When she looked at the Han brothers who worked hard, she suddenly felt that her waist was nothing.

It was almost noon, and the wives in the nearby fields went home one after another to cook. Chen Jiao said hello to Han Yue and went home by himself. In the past, Chen Jiao didn't dare to go out by himself, but now there were villagers on the way, and Chen Jiao wore a straw hat, so she didn't mind. When she passed by her parents' home, Chen Jiao went to drink water and took away the two kilograms of pork that Tian brought to her.

Chen Jiao made pancakes and made a dish of vermicelli stewed with cabbage and pork. The cabbage was placed in the cellar last winter, and there was not much left.

When Han Yue cooked, the shredded pork was pitifully small. Chen Jiao thought of Han Yue's big mouthfuls when he was having a meal, so she deliberately cut the pork belly into pieces. Finally, Chen Jiao made a simple egg flower soup without adding salt, which was better than water.

The cakes, dishes and soup were put into the small basket, and Chen Jiao locked the door again and went out with the basket.

I met several wives on the way.

"What did Lin Jiao do?"

Other people's food is exposed, mostly buns, steamed buns, pancakes, etc. There are very few dishes, but Chen Jiao is particular and even covers a cloth on the basket, which naturally makes people curious.

Chen Jiao covered the cloth to block the dust, and she didn't want to hide anything. When someone asked, she lifted the cloth.

The wives surrounded him and when they saw the vermicelli stewed with cabbage and pork, their saliva came out. When they looked at each other, they thought to themselves, who said that the girl from Master Lin’s family is a waste? Look how fragrant this dish is and that so much meat is added. Han Yue can marry such a rich and beautiful wife, which is really accumulating virtue in his previous life.

In the envious eyes of everyone, Chen Jiao walked quickly and came to the Han family.

There were shades of trees by the roadside, Han Yue and Han Xu plowed their current ridges and came together.

Chen Jiao had already divided the dishes, and the two brothers served a full bowl. She had a small appetite and looked a little pitiful.

"The meat my mother-in-law bought?" Han Yue guessed it as soon as he guessed.

Chen Jiao smiled and said, "I asked my mother to bring it to me." In fact, she didn't spend any money.

Han Yue treated the dowry money she used and said, "Don't buy it in the future, it's expensive."

Chen Jiao nodded, and he didn't know what he thought about.

"You can eat some meat too." Han Yue put the pork belly in his bowl to her.

Chen Jiao didn't want it, and held the bowl and said, "I have it here." She really doesn't like eating meat.

Han Yue couldn't deliver the meat, so he had to eat it himself.

The two brothers ate very quickly and ate voraciously. Chen Jiao brought a full basket of food, except for the two leftover pancakes, and vermicelli and egg flower soup were eaten clean.

"Don't come in the afternoon." After dinner, Han Xu went to another tree to rest tactfully. Han Yue looked at the petite lady who was cleaning up the dishes and whispered.

Chen Jiao looked up and asked in confusion: "Why don't you ask me to come?"

Han Yue looked at her little red face and smiled and said, "I'm doing it too slowly and I can't help it, so why bother to be tired in vain?"

Chen Jiao gritted her teeth and was a little angry. She kindly helped her. He still thought it was slow? No matter how slow she was, it was better than not helping?

"Obe obedient." Han Yue looked at his third brother and made sure that his third brother didn't look here. He quickly touched the petite lady's face: "It's not good to be tanned." He really didn't need her to do work in the field.

Chen Jiao was shocked by his touch, looked left and right with guilt, and then glared at him fiercely.

Before marriage, she took a look at it. How could this be a gentleman from a farmer? She was obviously a lazy man.

"If you don't come, you won't come. I don't want to do it yet." Chen Jiao said angrily, put the dishes and chopsticks, picked up the basket and left.

Han Yue sat on the ground with his back against the tree trunk, tilting his head to look at his young wife. There were many peasant daughters-in-law far and near on the road, but his petite lady had the thinnest waist and twisted her way.

Until he could no longer see her, Han Yue closed his eyes and took a nap.

But it was so hot that he couldn't sleep, so he just wanted to go home and hug his wife.

It was almost dark in the evening, and the Han Yue brothers returned home in sweat.

"The second brother hasn't come back yet." Chen Jiao brought out the cold water and asked the two of them to wash their faces, and by the way.

Han Yue said: "I'll eat there." The prospective son-in-law came to help. Mrs. Hu dared not care about the food and waited for someone to gossip.

Chen Jiao understood and went to set up the dishes and chopsticks. Dinner had been prepared long ago, with corn porridge and leftover cakes at noon. Chen Jiao put the meat in the porridge.

Han Yue looked at her.

Chen Jiao just smiled.

Halfway through the meal, Han Jiang came back and was sweating profusely.

"Have you eaten?" Han Yue asked his younger brother casually.

Han Jiang nodded, just as he was about to wash his face, he suddenly smelled the aroma of meat. He glanced into the porridge bowl and saw shredded meat.

Han Jiang's heart was so aggrieved. Compared to helping the Cao family farm, he certainly wanted to be more busy with his own family, not to mention that he had meat to eat. Hu was so stingy that he didn't even make a meat for him.

Han Jiang went to wash his face in a frustration, looking forward to his two brothers giving him some leftover meat porridge.

But Han Yue is not a wasteful personality? He would rather eat too much than waste any of it!

When Han Jiang washed his face and came in, he saw his good brother pinching the edge of the porridge bowl with one hand and a spoon with the other, scraping the last spoonful of porridge into his third brother's bowl.

Han Jiang:...
