Chapter 74 Lambeth Asylum(1/2)

(Anti-theft)

"But this is the truth." Lu Yuan replied in the face of the surprised Jack.

Jack thought for a while and nodded: "Okay."

"Then I'll lead you."

The directions of Lambes Asylum and Match Factory were completely different. Lu Yuan and the other three followed Jack for about half an hour. From a distance, they saw a lonely building located in an empty field.

"Because there is a madhouse here, no one wants to live here." Jack explained softly: "We children don't usually get close to here, because we all say that people in it will catch the children alive and roast them and eat them."

"What a classic story of scaring children." Su Mei sighed.

In front of me is a building surrounded by a high wall wrapped in barbed wire. You can see two iron-gray two-story buildings inside, which seem to be the location of the hospital.

The four of them came to the gate of the madman's asylum and saw the name of Bethleigh Hospital written on the high iron gate.

"Isn't it Lambes' Asylum?" Su Mei said in confusion.

"Of course I won't call it a name like Lambes with strong regional discrimination." Ke Yao said lightly: "But this is just a common name for everyone."

After all, Lambes Asylum is actually the abbreviation of the name Mad Asylum located near Lambes Street.

As she said this, Miss Ke Yao came to the gate of the madman and gently knocked on the locked gate.

"What's wrong with you?" A rude woman's voice came from the door.

"I am Ke Yao, a detective in Beckland. I have a friend who is sick and his family is troubled by him, so I want to know if your hospital can accept him." Ke Yao said, and he really feels like he is lying and not blinking.

"That's it." The rude female inside sighed, "Please wait."

As he said this, a short while, a small door was opened next to the iron gate. Inside the school gate was an obese woman in a white coat and a black turban: "Please come in."

She looked at Lu Yuan and said.

Lu Yuan and the other four entered the door, and she locked the door again. This action made the four people feel a little scared of being caught in the jar, but the fat woman smiled: "Don't be nervous, this is just a necessary measure to prevent the patients in the hospital from escaping."

Ke Yao nodded and looked at the fat woman. She looked around fifty years old, but she was in good spirits: "What should you call me?"

"Am I?" said the fat woman with some exaggeration: "My name is Jenny, you can call me Aunt Jenny."

As she said this, she burst into laughter.

Seeing that this woman named Jenny didn't seem very difficult to speak, Lu Yuan asked, "What kind of work are you doing here?"

"Is it a doctor?"

"Doctor?" Jenny shook her head and denied, "How could I be a doctor? I'm just a caregiver and cleaning work. By the way, I'm also a part-time doorkeeper. Of course, it's mainly because of the good salary here. Well, if it's not that the salary is good, no one would be willing to come here to work, right?"

"Yes." Ke Yao nodded and said, "Do you know Mr. Paul Ren?"

"Are you talking about the dean? That's such a pitiful person." Jenny obviously knew her dean, but her answer surprised Lu Yuan and others.

"Poor person?" Lu Yuan asked.

"Yes, poor man, I have worked in this hospital for ten years, and I have known Mr. Paul for ten years," said Jenny. "Ten years ago, Mr. Paul was a very diligent and friendly doctor, and he was an excellent manager. Under his management, this asylum was slowly thriving."

"He was diligent and serious, and with a very responsible attitude, he improved and reformed some of the originally too savage treatment methods for patients with mental illness, and improved the cure rate in the hospital, and was also very kind to us nurses." Jenny sighed: "Until that happened, Mr. Paul's whole person changed."

"What's the matter?" Lu Yuan couldn't help asking.

"Mr. Paul's wife died of a sudden acute illness." Jenny sighed and said, "Mr. Paul suffered the biggest blow in his life."
