Chapter 66 Dangerous Land(1/2)
(Anti-theft)
Outside the Beckland Police Department, you can see the vault of the towering Gothic building.
Su Mei and Ke Yao walked out of the carriage and looked at the police guarding at the door. Su Mei was about to walk up when Ke Yao grabbed him, "Wait a moment."
"Is there anything else?" Su Mei asked curiously.
"Some." Miss Ke Yao nodded.
"Before I came, I asked some detective friends, what was wrong with the police station recently, and then I got some not very good news."
"Not very good news?" Su Mei asked curiously; "For example, what?"
Relatively speaking, Su Mei was more worried about Lu Yuan, and I wonder if Lu Yuan had fallen into the hands of these policemen.
"I don't know much about the details of Officer Elvin Jones' replacement of Officer Kui, but some of the others are certain." Ke Yao looked at Ke Yao. "Since Officer Elvin Jones became the supervisor of the Beckland Police Department, the overall atmosphere of the police department has been greatly corrupted. Some of the detectives I asked about have experienced blackmail by these police officers, and I also heard that sometimes the police would openly eat a tyrant meal, which was basically impossible when Officer Kui was in office, but now it has become commonplace."
"Is it useless to report to the police station?" Su Mei asked, "You can't just ignore the feathers like this, right?"
"At present, few people can see Elvin Jones. He has been staying in the police station recently and has basically never come out." Ke Yao emphasized. "Maybe these are also part of his acquiesce, but some detective friends said they feel that Officer Jones is crazy."
"So what did the police say?" Su Mei asked again.
Ke Yao sighed, "My most familiar police friend is Officer Kui."
Su Mei nodded, "Then I can just ask alone."
"You'd better stay outside."
Listening to Su Mei's words, Ke Yao looked at her and smiled bitterly, "What are you talking about, stupid kid?"
"I can't let you go to such a dangerous place alone, and you don't have my connections in Beckland."
"Yes." Su Mei nodded.
"However, the reason why I say this is to prevent you from taking it too lightly." Ke Yao looked at Su Mei and said seriously. "The current Beckland Police Station is not a friendly place."
"We must do what we want to accomplish with our greatest vigilance."
Su Mei nodded seriously.
"Okay." Ke Yao smiled and held Su Mei's hand, "Let's come on."
As he said this, Ke Yao pulled Su Mei to the police station in Beckland. As soon as he arrived at the door, he was stopped by the police at the door. "Who are you? What are you going to do here?"
"I am Ke Yao, a detective from Detective Hulmos." Miss Ke Yao touched her chest and introduced herself. "It is also a little famous in Beckland. I have a detective friend involved in the riots at the Rose Bookstore this morning. We have not received any news from him so far. A friend told me that he might have been arrested as a rioter, so I will come and have a look."
Miss Ke Yao said in an orderly manner.
The policeman at the door was an elderly policeman in his early fifties. He was not obese but a little thin. He looked at the two ladies in front of him and coughed gently, "From the police's perspective, I advise you not to involve this matter."
He said like this.
"Why?" Su Mei said impatiently.
"Because..." As he said this, he coughed gently twice. "Anyway, I advise you not to try to involve this case."
"This is a major case that Officer Jones personally inquired about."
"He has always hated private detectives the most, you should understand."
"I appreciate your kindness." Ke Yao said quietly, "but we have very important friends involved. At least we have to make sure whether he is locked up."
As she said this, Miss Ke Yao looked at the police officer, "I just want to ask you one."
"This morning, did you arrest several suspects involved in the case?" Chapter 66
