26. Big Devil
At this moment, a monster suddenly jumped out and blocked Wang Bo's way out.
This monster has a tiger head, a one-horned dog ear, a dragon body, a lion tail, and a kirin foot. It looks like a dragon but not a dragon, a tiger but not a tiger, a lion but not a lion, a kirin but not a kirin, a dog but not a dog... Wang Bo knew the other party's identity as soon as he saw it.
It is the auspicious beast that Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva sits down.
Listen carefully!
Although the other person looks weird, the dragon body shows auspiciousness, the tiger head shows wisdom and courage, the dog ears show good listening, the lion tail shows patience, and the Qilin foot shows stability. This is a spiritual beast. You can identify all things in the world through listening, especially at listening to people's hearts.
"Master Ksitigarbha is reciting scriptures, please stop."
Wang Bo nodded, stopped, and expressed that he was unwilling to disturb Ksitigarbha's chanting.
Di Ting looked at Wang Bo and asked, "What's the matter when you come here."
Wang Bo thought Diting was a auspicious beast that Di Ting sat down. He had followed Di Ting for many years. Maybe he knew everything about Lingshan, and he didn't hesitate, and immediately expressed his purpose.
"I came here for Lingshan. I want to know what happened in Lingshan."
Di Ting asked, "So what if you know?"
Wang Bo thought that this question was very familiar, but said, "If you know, go to Lingshan."
Di Ting asked again: "Lingshan is closed, and all the gods and immortals in the sky have gone to Lingshan to inquire about the reasons, but no immortal has ever entered Lingshan. What can you do?"
Wang Bo said: "Is there any way I can do it depends on your answer."
Di Ting was silent for a moment and said, "Since you want to know, I will tell you that Lingshan is closed because a great demon came to Lingshan."
"Big Demon?" Wang Bo frowned.
"Yes, this demon was originally the leader of the Buddhist desire realm. The sixth heavenly demon king Moro, before the Buddha of Tathagata achieved enlightenment, he blocked the Buddha many times, but was defeated by the Buddha and never disliked any waves."
Di Ting said here, paused for a moment, and then continued, "But for some reason, this devil suddenly gained an adventure decades ago, his skills increased greatly, he killed himself on Lingshan, defeated the Buddha, and claimed to be the Buddha without heaven."
"Buddha Wutian, are you sure?" Wang Bo couldn't help asking.
Di Ting nodded, "It's the Buddha Wutian, why do you know him?"
Wang Bo said: "Then is his magic weapon a black lotus that destroys the world?"
Di Ting nodded again, "Yes, that magic weapon of the devil is indeed a pitch-black lotus."
"I understand, it's him." Wang Bo finally knew who the powerful man who forced Lingshan to close the mountain was, and the big boss in the world [The Last Biography of Journey to the West]
"From your tone, you know that big devil."
"That's right." Wang Bo nodded. He did know the big devil, but that one didn't know him. "By the way, why did the Buddha Wutian seal the Lingshan after defeating Tathagata?"
As far as he knows, that person is not a self-congratulatory Lord.
Di Ting shook his head and said, "The one who sealed Lingshan is not the big devil. The big devil defeated the Buddha. Many Bodhisattvas and Arhats in Lingshan are not their opponents. In order to prevent the big devil from causing harm to the three realms, the Buddha united the Bodhisattvas and Arhats in Lingshan and used his own magic power to seal Lingshan, turning Lingshan into a cage, and preventing the great devil from being born."
Wang Bo:...
It turns out that Lingshan is closed, that's what happened.
No wonder the gods and immortals in the sky couldn't step into Lingshan half a step. It turned out that it was not only a Tathagata Buddha who sealed Lingshan, but also a Bodhisattva Arhats who were up and down Lingshan.
The seal established by this group of Buddhist disciples working together cannot be cracked in a short while even the Buddha Wutian can be broken.
"Thank you." Wang Bo bowed his hand to thank Di Ting and turned around and left.
Di Ting's voice came from behind, "You are going to Lingshan now."
"That's right." Wang Bo nodded.
"The great demon sealed by Lingshan is unprecedented. Once the great demon is released, the three realms will inevitably suffer a disaster. Do you know."
"I know, but don't worry, I won't let this person go." Wang Bo knew what Di Ting was worried about, so he comforted the other party and turned into a stream of light and left the temple of Ksitigarbha.
After watching Wang Bo leave, Di Ting turned his head to Ksitigarbha and said, "Bodhisattva, I have told me all this according to your instructions, but is it really okay to do this?"
Ksitigarbha stopped reciting the scriptures and pondered for a moment and said, "This person may be a turning point in Lingshan."
Di Ting said, "I hope this is the case."
A moment later, the Buddhist meditation singing of the scriptures sounded again.
...
After leaving the underworld at a rapid speed, Wang Bo went to Lingshan, but he kept recalling the origin of Wutian Buddha along the way.
Wutian was originally the great protector of the Buddha Realm, Kinnara Bodhisattva, with a bright future. Later, he was ordered by the Buddha Uparatha at that time to preach.
By the way, although the Buddha Tathagata is the Buddha of Lingshan.
But before the Tathagata, the Buddha's Buddha was Uparatha.
Of course, this Buddha actually only appeared in the world of [Journey to the West]. In fact, there was no such person in the Buddhist scriptures at all.
However, there is indeed someone who is also known as "Lotte", which means "Music Heaven" and "Singing God", which is one of the "Eight Divisions of the Buddhist gods". There is a distinction between men and women. Men have a horse-head and women have a dignified appearance.
However, it is obvious that in the world of [Journey to the West], Kinnara is not the God of Songs, but the confidant of the Buddha Uparatha.
After Kinnara arrived at his destination, the local Brahmin high priest asked him to complete three things that ordinary people could not accomplish, and then promised him to preach in the local area.
The first is that Aliu, a descendant of the local thief family, no longer steals, the second is that Adao, a local gangster who loves fighting, no longer fights; the third is that Azhi, a local prostitute, no longer acts as a prostitute.
As a Bodhisattva and the Buddha's confidant, Kinnara naturally had two tricks, otherwise the Buddha would not have asked him to come to such a place to preach.
However, after he completed it, the high priest turned against his word and wanted to kill Kinnara. In fact, the high priest could not kill Kinnara. After all, Kinnara is also a Bodhisattva after all.
Most people are not the opponents of Bodhisattvas.
He was deliberately arrested by the high priest, trying to show his supernatural powers when the high priest was executed and to surrender the high priest in one fell swoop.
However, Ah Xi, who was originally a prostitute, did not know the magical powers of Kinnara, so in order to save Kinnara, he violated the oath of stopping being a prostitute, and promised the conditions of the high priest and committed suicide.
Originally, this matter could not be blamed on Jinnara, but the Buddha thought that he had moved the mortal heart and hurt human life. He felt that he was not worthy of being a Buddhist guardian and expelled him from Buddhism.
