Chapter 9 Be Careful

At noon, at the sisters' dining table, Kairole, who knew Audrey was injured, kept complaining that Audrey was too disgusted. After Audrey repeatedly promised that it would not be confidential and that the injury was indeed not serious, Kairole let her go and turned the fire to Evan.

"Say, even I noticed, how did you find out?"

When asked, Kai Luo's look at Evan's eyes and looking at the pervert, big bad wolf, and other creatures that need to be dismantled.

Evan didn't care about the troublesome and talkative Kai Luo, and directly turned his head to one side, ignoring her problem.

This action made Roll go wild. Just as he was about to speak up, he was comforted by Audrey.

"Kai Roll, OK, Evan knows it because he saw bruises when I fed the cat yesterday."

This is what Evan said to Audrey, and Audrey reposted it in fact. Audrey knew that Evan must have concealed a lot, but she did not continue to ask.

Virginia, who was involved in his younger brother, was not easy to interrupt, heard this and looked at Evan, who was pretending to be relaxed, haha, I caught him, and said that she didn't like Audrey, Humph, would she care so much if she didn't like him?

After finally comforting Kairole, Audrey glanced at Evan inadvertently. Evan, who was facing each other, could not see his expression, but for some reason, Audrey suddenly felt a hot ear and a red glow gradually appeared on her face.

"What hero, lie! Hum!"

A week after promising to be Evan's partner, Albert once again arrived at the governor's residence on the weekend. This time he was not alone, and there was also a young man with the same surname as Patton.

His name is Carl Patton, and he is nominally Albert's assistant and will assist Evan in completing the patent filing. In fact, he is Albert's son. Albert brought him by his side and introduced him to Evan, hoping that he would enter Evan's circle with justice.

Carl Patton looked like a young young man who was just twenty-five years old. He had graduated from Princeton Law School for three years, but because of his natural fair and slightly childish face, he was often underestimated.

Evan, who was first meeting, was no exception.

Just now, while signing a large stack of documents brought by Albert, Evan looked at Carl with suspicious eyes from time to time, wanting to speak but stopping.

Carl was not surprised, and said with a flawless smile like a baby: "Evan, please don't doubt it, I'm already twenty-five."

Evan withdrew his gaze and after signing the last authorization letter, he was not embarrassed to be caught and peeked. He sighed openly and said, "Is that true, God's aesthetic is really amazing!"

Carl frozes on his face and says, "I think you are praising God."

At this time, Albert, who had greeted the hostess, came over and Evan handed over the signed documents to Albert. After Albert checked them, he put the documents in his briefcase.

"Okay, Evan, with these documents on the company's affairs, you can complete the process as soon as next week, and then you will be the owner of a company."

Albert patted the briefcase and said: "The next key lies in patent application. Carl has sufficient experience in this area. I hope you can have a happy cooperation."

Evan looked at Carl, and for Albert's sake, he decided to believe in his ability, nodded and said, "Of course, we will do it as soon as possible."

After seeing off Albert, Evan called Carl to his room and explained in detail the details of instant noodles related patents.

Patents are simple and difficult. It is simple to say. It is simple to say that as long as you can afford to pay, you can apply for a patent if you have any idea. It is difficult to say that inventions or ideas that can truly obtain patent authorization must meet the necessary conditions, both novel, creative and practical.

In his previous life, Evan, as a professor of engineering, applied for patents many times, so the information he gave Albert about instant noodles was actually complete enough for patent application, but in order to insure and improve the claims in the patent, Albert asked Carl and Evan to have a good exchange.

After all, there are many examples of people taking advantage of loopholes and losing their interests since the patent system was born.

The exchange between the two continued until afternoon, so Carl's lunch was settled at the official residence. Virginia, who returned from shopping, saw Carl on the dining table and her eyes were shining. Unlike Evan, Virginia had known Carl for a long time, but she hadn't seen her for many years.

At around four o'clock in the afternoon, Carl knew everything he should have learned, so he asked to say goodbye. Before leaving, Evan remembered something to do and asked him to tell Albert.

After leaving the residence, Carl returned to the law firm. Although it was a weekend, the owner of the firm and his father did not rest and was still busy.

"Old Patton, I'm back!"

Albert at the desk said without raising his head: "Thank you for your hard work, little Patton. How about it?"

While taking off his coat, Carl said, "It went very smoothly! I was confident that I would get the authorization letter within one month. What I said was a series of supporting patents including formula and production technology."

Albert looked up and looked at Carl and said, "I care more than just patents."

"What else can it be except patent?" Carl hung up his clothes, found the glass of wine with ease, poured himself a glass of champagne, took a sip, then raised his glass to Albert: "Do you want a glass?"

Albert waved his hand and declined his son's invitation, "Evan Warren, our governor's son!"

Carl came to the desk, sat on half of his butt, put the wine glass casually, thought for a while and commented: "He has solid knowledge in science and engineering, knows how to make drawings, doesn't care much about his father's work, and does not have the frivolity and impetuousness that should be in adolescence."

Speaking of this, Carl asked Albert with a smile: "Old Patton, are you sure he is a tenth grade student?"

"To be honest, when he discussed with me how to write a patent right statement, I even thought he was a college student who was about to graduate from MIT."

Albert smiled slightly, "It seems that you have a good impression of him. Since that's the case, after you get this authorization, you can resign from the office."

"Well, OK!" Carl was prepared for Albert's arrangement. After taking a sip of champagne, he asked with interest: "Then, my next stop is this bag company called Alphabet?"

"That's right!" Albert nodded, looking at the wine glass that had already been seen in Carl's hand, and the wineworms in his stomach were churning. He swallowed and couldn't help asking, "Give me a glass!"

Carl said happily: "As for orders, Old Patton!"

After a moment, touch the two wine glasses gently.

"Cheers for the future!"
