The 327th chapter household (2)

Governor's residence, restaurant.

"Okay, give me the photo."

To solve the breakfast as quickly as possible, Robert couldn't wait to ask. He had no choice but to take a few photos with his girlfriend just now, thinking that this would satisfy the curiosity of his mother, brothers and sisters. Now he understood that gossip and desire are never satisfied.

"No……"

Dora, holding the photo, dodged Robert's big hand, then kicked his foot, bounced from the chair, and quickly walked towards the governor's father in the main position. She raised the photo in her hand and asked intimately, "Dad, you just didn't see it, do you want it?"

Earl reached out to take the photo, looked up at Robert, who looked helpless and a little panicked, and said, "Of course, you have seen it all, how could I miss it."

"Well..." After seeing one photo after another, he nodded slightly and commented: "This smile and these eyes are pretty good..." At this point, Earl handed the photos he had seen to Robert, and asked: "I heard right, her name is Alicia, she is your classmate, right?"

Robert quickly took the photo and nodded and replied: "Yes."

After saying that, before Earl or someone else asked questions, he turned around and "escape" the restaurant at an unprecedented speed.

Looking at the place where Robert disappeared, Dora curled her lips boredly, Evan shook her head funny, and Nina glared at the brother and sister who were still unsatisfied, and said, "You... just know how to bully Robert."

"Not!"

Duo replied, and then ran out of the restaurant.

"By the way, I didn't see Virginia in the morning. Did she not get up or wasn't there?" Earl asked when Nina was about to call Dora.

Nina replied, "I'm not here, I'm out."

Earl asked, "What are you going to do?"

"I don't know!" Nina shook her head and looked at the brother and sister Evan and Dorothy who were still at the dining table: "I just heard them say it when I woke up in the morning, and it seemed that I was going out early in the morning."

Seeing that his father and mother were looking at him, Evan shook his head and said, "Don't look at me, I heard Dora and Dorothy say that."

All of a sudden, all three eyes were focused on Dorothy.

Dorothy blinked, put down the bread in her hand, and whispered: "I don't know much, it seems like I'm going to the station."

"Station?" Nina repeated in confusion: "What did she do when she went to the station so early?"

"It seems that Colin's train will arrive at noon, right?"

Dorothy said, "I don't know this."

"I'm full, you guys can use it slowly."

After saying that, Dorothy was about to leave.

"It's not here at noon." Evan slowly ate the fish steak and looked at Nina and said, "Maybe she's going to pick up her friends."

"Friend? Well, I have to ask when she comes back."

Nina muttered.

Upon hearing this, Evan said, "Do you want to remind Virginia?"

"Evan, are you going to the Christmas dinner tonight?" Earl asked suddenly as he was wandering.

"Huh? You talk about dinner?" Evan nodded when he saw Earl and replied, "Will Robert and the others go? I won't attend."

The state government Christmas dinner has not been attended since he went to college, and he spent every Christmas Eve with Audrey in recent years.

"I thought this year would be different." Earl glanced at Evan, then stopped eating, and said while wiping his hands, "You have nothing to do at night anyway... Audrey is still in Los Angeles, isn't she?"

Evan nodded: "It's true, but I'd rather listen to Christmas radio at home than going to dinner."

Earl threw the napkin that had been rubbing his hands on the table and said, "You need to make more friends. You can't walk far in the United States."

"I know."

"But, I don't think I'm alone."

Evan looked at Nina sitting opposite him with a smile and said, "What do you think? My dear mother."

Nina looked at Evan helplessly, then looked at her husband and said, "Forget it, don't force him if he doesn't want to go. Anyway, Colin will arrive at noon, so just take him with her."

Earl spread her hands and shrugged. The move to teach Evan failed again, and Earl was not surprised at all.

Seeing this, Evan smiled and said, "Thank you, Earl."

Earl stood up with his hands, waved at Evan, and said, "I heard that you are the chef at lunchtime. Do you need my help?"

"For example, prepare ingredients or something."

"Thank you, but no need..." Evan pointed to Nina and said, "There is a former chef here!"

Nina took over the conversation and said, "You don't need to be in the kitchen, and you don't need to be in the Christmas decoration. So, it's a rare holiday, how about relaxing yourself."

"Well... OK!" Earl bent down and kissed Nina's forehead, saying, "I haven't heard the daughters' performance in a long time, I guess they're happy to show it."

"That's right!" Nina smiled slightly, "But you have to hurry up. I guess Dora is preparing to find an excuse to go out for fun."

"Don't worry." Earl smiled, "She can't run away."

After Earl left the restaurant, Evan finished eating and started chatting with Nina about the luncheon menu.

"Nina, are you sure you have lunch at lunch?"

"Of course. We made sure in the morning, didn't we? Robert, Dora, and Doroth all agreed." Nina began to clean up the dining table and said, "Why, have you changed your mind?"

"No, no." Evan helped clean up, and explained: "It's just that authentic Chinese food has many special seasonings, and people who haven't eaten it may not be used to it."

"Don't worry, your dad and Robert have eaten it. They probably won't dislike it when they go to San Francisco this summer." Nina walked into the kitchen with a stacked plate, and Evan followed behind. "As for the seasonings, see what you lack, and bring it with you when you go to supplement the ingredients later."

"Okay, that's it." Evan walked to the refrigerator, opened the refrigerator door, and asked while looking at it, "So, do you have any suggestions about the menu, Nina?"

Nina poured the breakfast residue into the trash can and replied without looking back: "It's up to you to decide. Today you are the chef."

Chef Evan looked back at his mother when he heard this, then closed the refrigerator door and walked out of the kitchen without saying a word.

When Nina saw it, she asked, "Where are you going?"

"I'll go and write down the ingredients and seasonings I'm going to buy," Evan said.

Twenty minutes later, a nice melody rang in the piano room. Dora and Doroth were the players, and Earl was the only listener. When Nina, Evan, Robert and his son were ready to go out, the phone in the living room suddenly rang.

Evan, who was closest to the phone, picked up the microphone.

"Hey, this is Evan Warren..."

"Evan, it's me, Virginia...well, is it easy to speak?"

"Hey, is there anything?"
