Chapter 406 Wedding

"Can anyone tell me what's going on?" Charles, wearing a black formal outfit, clapped and asked at his companion in confusion.

He is now in the spacious backyard of Dipp's house, and the red and white flowers around him decorate the backyard very beautifully, especially the huge flower door behind the newlyweds.

If it weren't for bandage tentacles, the entire Hope Island might not have found so many flowers.

Yes, he was attending a wedding, the wedding of sailor Chang Dipp.

The other crew members sitting next to him were also confused. They stared blankly at the bottom of the flower door, kissing Dip and Alia.

"If I remember correctly, this morning, the boy Dipp asked us how to deal with emotional problems. Why did we get married at night? It's too fast? What exactly did he do?" Feuerbach murmured.

"I knew they must have a problem with me, and I guessed it before. I asked Dip before, but he still refused to admit it." James said firmly.

Under the white wedding dress, Alia looked particularly beautiful today.

Although today was her wedding, shyness seemed to have never appeared on her. She grinned and laughed extremely unrestrainedly, and it was obvious that she was very happy today.

"Hey~ I'm so envious, my dear, what's wrong with us? Do you think so?" Elizabeth's voice spread to Charles' ears quietly.

She was wearing a low-cut red dress today, with big waves of bright white curly hair, and charmingly hangs above the deep snow-white groove, making her look particularly dazzling among the guests.

"You still care about this ceremony? So have you and your wives held a wedding?"

As soon as Charles finished speaking, the sharp tips of the red high heels kicked towards his calf, but they were quickly avoided.

"Stop making trouble, Dipp and the others are here." Charles raised the goblet glass in his hand and raised it to the oncoming couple.

Elizabeth gently held Charles' shoulder and smiled and made the same moves as him.

"Captain, I seem to be married. I haven't dreamed, right?" Dipp's expression was excited and confused, and it seemed that he had not recovered.

Looking at the fishman in front of him, Charles' expression was very complicated. He still remembered the dirty and thin little man when he picked him up on the street.

I never thought that I would have a day to attend the other party’s wedding.

But no matter what, the crew of the Narwhale got married and as the captain, they still had to say the scene.

"Congratulations on finding the only soul mate in this life. In the quiet love in the future, I hope you two love each other. Finally, I hope marriage can make you calmer." Charles raised the wine glass in his hand and took a breath.

"Thank you for your blessings from the Governor," Alia bent over with her white gauze wedding dress.

The bride with a hint of excitement on her face glanced at the groom and said to Charles: "I heard that the Governor regards Dipp as his confidant. So today is his wedding. Can we choose the wedding gift ourselves?"

Charles was slightly stunned. He didn't expect the other party to say such a problem, but it was true. Today's matter was too hasty and he didn't have time to prepare a gift. "So what do you want for a wedding gift?"

"As a former director, Deep, since he came back, James has not returned this position to him. How about... let him become the director again?"

Not only did Charles not expect this request, but even Dipp did not expect it. He quickly explained: "Captain, I don't mean this. I actually... hiss~ What are you doing when you pull out my scales!"

Facing this question, Charles did not agree immediately. "Don't worry, Dipp was the crew member who explored the island with me, and I would not treat him badly."

Alia didn't mean to retreat at all. She looked at Charles with her eyes and said calmly: "But I am his wife now. I think this is unfair to my husband. Since he has experienced all kinds of life-and-death dangers with you, I hope the power circle on the island should not strip him out, even if he is a fishman."

Charles looked at the woman in front of him and smiled at Dipp. "Boy, it seems that you have really found a good wife. OK, you get married, I should really give you a wedding gift."

"You must not go back, Director, and that important position is not easy to change. Let's do this, there is still a deputy director missing from the Relics Research Institute. You can try it."

Of course, Charles didn't let the semi-illiterate Dipp do research.

With the resources of the entire Hope Island tilted a lot, it can be guessed that a behemoth would soon form in that place. With Dipp and Linda watching, he was more at ease and didn't have to worry about the huge tumors growing in the Hope Island.

Hearing this, Alia was happy. Of course she knew the importance of the Relics Institute to Hope Island. Since Charles put Dipp there, it represented an absolute emphasis on him.

The wedding banquet began, and the dinner was a buffet. The men and women quickly divided into groups, chatting and eating, most of them teasing Dipp and his new wife with kindness.

The marriage banquet is very small, with basically only some crew members on the Narwhal, which is why the wedding can be held so quickly.

Charles was in a good mood, although some of them didn't understand why Deep got married suddenly, and seriously doubted how long such a hasty wedding could last.

But no matter what, no matter how bad the wedding is, it is better than the funeral. This is a good thing, and the more good things should be, the better.

The banquet was slowly spent in a warm atmosphere. Just as Charles and Elizabeth were tasting salt-baked crab meat, he suddenly realized that there was a trace of incongruity in the dinner.

A bald man in a yellow robe was walking towards him. Charles knew him, one of the twelve bald men who had come out to explore with the Pope.

"Governor, the Pope is back. He asked me to invite you there." Wright said respectfully to Charles.

"Why does the Pope come back mean that the door is open?" Charles' heartbeat couldn't help but accelerate.

Wright's arrival also attracted the attention of other crew members, and their eyes were self-evident.

"It's okay, you guys continue eating, I'll go." Dipp wiped his mouth with a dining cloth, then raised his feet and walked out quickly with the bald head.

As the black smoke-emitting cars rushed towards the dock, Charles quickly saw a large number of floating airships outside the greenhouse and a fleet of golden lights on the sea.
